If you take heed to reviews GO ACROSS THE STREET TO CVS. This Walgreens is absolutely the worst pharmacy in the area. It took me 3 days to get a much needed antibiotic and they gave me the run around regarding an issue with my insurance until I got someone, on day 3, to fix THEIR issue.There should be a zero stars or run away fast button.Horrible. They lost my business for sure!
Just left Walgreens for a work purchase. Spent close to $200 on candy for marketing mailers. I didnt get a receipt. The cashier said I could go. I said twice that I didnt get a receipt. He said I am digital. I asked if he was ignoring my request for a receipt. He said yes because you are digital. I dont even know what that means and I left without a receipt.
I always have been using this pharmacy for past few months . There w a young man sheth who always used to take care of my prescription for me . But rather than him being present in the store everyone was slacking behind the work and filling prescriptions. I only recommend going to this pharmacy when this young man works on weekends. Or else everyone is rude and slow. I went other time and they made me wait 1 hour in line . Sheth would do it so fast and gracefully and took care of everyone.Only giving 2 stars for that guy or else this pharmacy deserves zero.
If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would! The worst experience I’ve ever had. I get emailed confirmation that my medication will be ready at a certain time. Three times now I’ve shown up and it hasn’t been ready for me to get. I found this out after I waited 2 hours in the drive thru (which they are doing covid testing in, by the way.) I’m so done with this place

This Walgreens pharmacy is horrible! Prior to the pandemic they were slow and during the pandemic its gotten worse. They mess up prescriptions and refills and the wait times are ridiculous. The have the medication pick up and vaccinations in the same line which makes no sense. Why should people have to wait for an hour with 8 people waiting for a vaccination when they only want to pick up a prescription. When mentioning it to management I was told its only one line. They always seem understaffed and one of the staff members is BEYOND rude and sarcastic to customers and staff. Its the closest one to my house and Walgreens is who my insurance prefers my prescriptions be filled. Otherwise, I would NEVER come here!
Every experience I have had at this location has been horrible. In addition to the ridiculously long wait times to get prescriptions, they never have the order ready on time, never have enough medication on hand (give partial fills), and always lose the scripts from doctors. Save your time and money and go elsewhere, this place needs to just close its doors.
Dont waste your time placing a pick up order. I placed an order with 4 items and i got a email that said 30 mins or less. Got an email 45 mins later and said it will be delayed. 2 1/2 hour later i hear nothing. So i goto the store myself and pick up my items and ask them to cancel my order. Store wasnt busy. No reason i should have had to come in after 2/12 hours of waiting for 4 things. Worst Walgreens ever.
Think long and hard before you go to this location for the Covid-19 vaccine or to fill a prescription. I had a vaccination appointment this morning and had to wait over an hour before receiving it. There was only one overworked pharmacist who was oscillating between filling prescriptions and administering vaccines (she didnt even have help with calling names to the room to get the shot. She did it all.). There was so much room for error! She had no assistance and no one monitors you after you receive the vaccine. It was quite a concerning experience.
I had a scheduled appointment for a second Covid vaccine and had to wait an hour and a half for the vaccine. The pharmacy only had a tech and the pharmacist scheduled and the pharmacist was the only one administering the vaccine. Extremely poorly staffed.

The store portion is wonderful. The staff are really nice, and respectful to customers. It’s also very clean. The reason for my low rating is due to the pharmacy. They are very slow. There is always a line and no sense of urgency to see the customers quickly. I came to pickup a prescription after going to urgent care and was told it was delivered. I got to the pharmacy pickup at 3:45 pm and they told me it wouldn’t be ready until 5 pm. To ensure that I wouldn’t have to wait longer I called the store three times to see if my prescriptions were ready and they still were being processed after 5pm. They specifically told me they would be ready by 5pm.
Get your prescription filled in Waldorf or CVS if you can. This place drops the ball on actually filling prescriptions and has horrible customer service.

This has got to be the worst and saddest Walgreens pharmacy department. Been in the drive thru line for 30 min then when I get to the window the pharmacist walks away dosent say anything like one moment please So unprofessional a least let the people know something. Terrible. I was on the pharmacy line for 20+ minutes. Every time it rang, I was put back on hold. This happened at least 5 times. Im proud of myself for actually waiting that long. Waste. Of. Time.

Online inventory shows that they still have some alcohol and hand sanitizers available. Went to the store at 9am and theres nothing! Asked the lady at the cashier and she said she have not seen any and was very rude! But the cashier counters have a full container of hand sanitizer open!!
This is my favorite location. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If I have a problem, it is always resolved in a timely manner. The pharmacist is great answering any questions and very knowledgeable

I would rather give them 0 stars for absolutely horrible wait times in the pharmacy drive through line. My wife spent twenty minutes in line today for a less than two minute transaction. There was one vehicle ahead of her. This has been the rule rather than the exception. Either break down and hire a few more employees, or figure out where your inefficiencies lie and address them.

Rude, and inconsiderate, pharmacy technicians kept an elderly woman (over 75 years old) out of her prescribed medication for 48 hours because they refused to accept her prescription when I (her grandson in law) attempted to drop it off numerous times. The prescription in question was valid/current, I had her I.D. as well as my own. On two separate occasions I was refused drop off for conflicting/contradicting reasons. Ultimately she contacted the pharmacy and was told we dont know why they told him that. Dictating yet another 14 mile round trip to Walgreens just to drop it off. If it werent for her reservations about switching to another pharmacy I would never use this pharmacy again.

100% zero customer satisfaction from the entire team from the pharmacy to the on site store manager. Went to fill a prescription at 1030pm told it would be filled in 20mins, I came back in 35 and was essentially denied service due to store policy. I’m active duty military so the prescription is 100% paid for by tri-care. I asked for my prescription back so I could have filled somewhere elsewhere and was still refused based off the insurance already paying for it. Was told I could come back in the morning. I will never utilize another Walgreens again in my life there were completely zero customer satisfaction by the manager Lakeisha Davis and the pharmacy team.

I was offered a part time job and accepted. I was told to wait on a email with the location to take the drug test, which was never sent. I called every day for a week. Either the manager wasn’t there or he told me the email should be there tomorrow. So I called again today and a “new manager” says to me well I’ve never heard about this and we already have all our spots filled. I have the email where I accepted the job so they can’t say they had the wrong email. I am a 23 yr old young man with no kids. All I ever wanted to do is make money to go BACK to school. It’s not fair that I declined other job opportunities to take this one and they’ve been lowing the entire time. Please can someone give me advice. Even if it’s motivation to just move on .

Went in to refill a Rx and the pharmacist was a really cool guy. I told him what I needed and was waiting for him to tell me how long it would be, he turned around and said the cost and had the Rx in his hand. I couldnt believe how fast I got the Rx. I was literally in and out of the store with my Rx in hand in less than 5 minutes. Awesome service from the pharmacy!

Really doesnt even deserve a star but this Pharmacy its the most rudest, unorganized, and laziest one Ive ever been to. They didnt know how to read my insurance card so they thought it was fraud. They take hours on end to fill a prescription. Im actually in the process of transferring pharmacies, I told the people at Walgreens that i was transferring to a different Pharmacy, and the lady got really rude about it. My new Pharmacy which is so Plata Pharmacy has been trying to get ahold of Walgreens for the past 3 hours and theyre not getting through. I had to leave work to get my medication only expecting to get it done within 15 minutes instead its taking a whole day. I wish I had my Rite Aid back!!!!

Garbage!!! Arrived at 8:57PM they close at 9pm. We were the ER 5 hours prior and get there and the person behind the counter said they are closed. I know about leaving early but if you close at 9 then do just that. My wife tried to ask since they were called in by the ER and the person respond “That doesn’t mean anything we are closed. Go to CVS.” This place is garbage just save the time because they won’t give you there time.

Let me first start by stating, I have always enjoyed shopping at my local Walgreens stores for their abundance of products, cleanliness, awesome deals and great customer service. Sadly, today was NOT one of my typical pleasant encounters!Terrible customer service by far at the Laplata Md location !There was a dicrepency with my purchase and use of a manufacturer’s coupon which I was told I couldn’t use on a sale item ( why not ?? Please explain ??? ) - cashier was rude when I asked to speak with a manager stating “she’s going to tell you he same thing “ .The manager Glenn, never came to the front of the store to address my concern, instead I was told by the cashier that I could go try to find her in the photo depart ( unprofessional).Manager was dismissive and discourteous! No regards to even listing to my concern . Instead she gave me her name and suggested I just contact corporate ( passive angressive and patronizing) . Needless to say I left the store frustrated and upset !Went to the Walgreens in Waldorf and was greeted immediately upon entrance of the store. I attempted the exact same transaction without any problems whatsoever!Will not be visiting the Laplata location ever again !!!

ABSOLUTE TRASH. I made an appointment for a flu shot and had to wait in this long line just to be seen. So what was the point of making an appointment? I had to wait 50 minutes just to get a flu shot. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Something has to be done about their wait times. Supposed to get the prescription at 1130. It’s 4:30 and still not done. Their answer to that is “we’re really backed up.”
