The best donuts around. The original owner has reopen the donut shop and everyone is glad.

This place is awesome. It is the best donut place in LaPorte. If they dont have in the case what you want, like the breakfast sandwich, they will fix one for you anyway you ask. It is a family run business and they are very friendly. The apple fritter is the best I have ever head and they are huge. Everything that I have had there is great. Also I have taken cake donuts to work and some folks ask where did I get them from, they really like the blueberry cake donuts. I patronize there on an average 5 times a week. GO VISIT, tell the young lady (Vina} that Denby recommends this place highly.

This place is very nice and they are quick to serve you. Good selection. Try the Chappel Hill sausage kolache and Thai Iced coffee... Very good!

I Stop by Maleenes at least once or twice a week on the way to take my kids to school. The lady at the window always greets us with a smile and knows exactly how I want my kids Kolaches split into separate bags. Great Place and my kids love their Kolaches donuts and breakfast croissant!

Stopped by on my morning walk to get one of my favorite Texas bites -- kolaches! I was surprised at how clean it was inside, unlike most other kolache and donut shops. It smelled of freshly fried and glazed donuts inside. They also had crossoint and biscuit sandwiches. They had a good selection of kolache flavors from plain small to jumbo jalapeno sausage and cheese, my favorite. The kolache bread was soft, fluffy, and sweet, the way a kolache should be. Great place to stop by for kolaches and donuts in LaPorte!

Great donut place in la Porte. My favorites are the blueberry cake donut, croissant bread kolache, the sausage egg cheese croissant, and the big kolaches are also really good. And the owners are very nice people.

Their jalapeno-sausage-cheese kolaches have actual cheese and actual jalapenos in the bread along with (and more importantly SEPARATE FROM) the sausage. Theyre not the BEST kolaches, but THEY ARE THE BEST KOLACHES IN LAPORTE, or within a 30 minute drive in any direction from LaPorte.(The small/regular sized ones for sure, probably the large ones as well but thats unconfirmed as of now.)
