Employees like Danny should not be allowed to interface with customers at Verizon in La Quinta. I entered the store two hours before closing today simply to purchase a gift card. I entered with a masked on and waited my turn for several minutes while the two check-in greeters helped people in front of me. I then stated I am here to purchase a gift card, do I need to check in? and was told No and escorted to the gift cards where I was asked to pick a gift card then wait in line for the cashier. I was waiting in the check out line patiently when DANNY (possibly returning from break - who knows) aggressively approached me and began asking a series of questions which concluded with We are not going to serve you today. I am refusing service. Anyhow, Im happy Verizon customer otherwise and had the limits for Verizons online gift cards not been $250 (who can buy a phone with that) I would have never needed to entered the store. Its okay because my friend is now getting a $1000 gift certificate from Marriott that I purchased online in less than 5 minutes. I know there is a labor shortage but Verizon putting Danny, an employee who does not take the time to understand the situation or interact with customers in a courteous manner is an unfortunate decision/result.

Ive only been here once before and was forced to come back after an unpleasant experience. Carlos who was doing the intake told me a 30 minute wait, then walked over and fixed my phone for me. They need a few more people with Carloss willingness to do a little extra to improve their rating. I appreciate his service.

You will not get excellent customer service from here I can tell you that. And that speaks volumes! For one the lady I spoke to was rude. They wanted me to pay a restock fee after I didnt like the phone I received just only 4 days ago! Also they would not talk to me about my account without an ID. They didnt tell me this when I checked in and then made me wait 45min. This is 2021 there should be other ways to authenticate a person. Again online didnt ask for my ID and they quickly took care of what I asked.... which was no hassle exchange. And since I sent in my iPhone XR for the exchange...they allowed me to use the iPhone 13 Pro until I received the iPhone 13 Max. Thats taking care of your loyal customers! (Verizon customer Since 2005) So I upgraded and spent my money with online Verizon rather than this local Verizon store.Update: Owner… although I appreciate the same ol automated apology… please hold your employees accountable. Apparently this isn’t new to your customers.

Jason at this store was amazing today! I had ordered a new phone online and was disappointed with the package I received and went to the store to return everything. Jason listened and offered a solution that worked. I’ve been with Verizon for over 16 years and today I was actually considering going elsewhere but because of my experience at the store I will be staying. It’s their customer service plus coverage that has always kept me as a customer. If you have any problems know this store and especially Jason will handle it for you.

They couldnt help me until i paid my bill. So i paid my bill and was told they no longer fix broken screens inhouse that i would have to call Asurion that they could not help me. Wow. Could have just told me that instead of insisting they could not tell me anything until my bill was current. My bill was 1 day past due. Customer service was terrible. The dude had attitude. Im seriously considering switching carriers.

The staff needs to stop telling customers that uBreakiFix will file their claim for insurance purposes or that they charge $30 to fix your phone. This is so false and misleading. Its almost like they tell customers this, so they dont have to deal with you. WHEN Verizon employees are supposed to help steer you in the right direction to file a claim. If you have no clue, you should call uBreakiFix to confirm this. Not make up whatever comes to your mind to get them out of your hair. When this comes from the Manager and even she has no clue, it shows you the lack of knowledge by the Manager and the crew.Even though uBreakiFix could not file the claim for us, they were nice enough to help us figure out how to file that claim, which the people at Verizon can do. But choose not to help.

I went in at 4:58pm and they close at 5:00pm on sundays. Apparently the employee, Carlos, didn’t value my eagerness to create an account to buy a WiFi hotspot. He said it would take an hour...I told him I would take my business elsewhere and he was fine with that. I then went to T-Mobile and bought and created a WiFi hotspot account in 15 minutes.

In my opinion, if someone is coming into your store to spend their money there, you probably shouldn’t talk to the customers like their stupid and have an attitude when customers are asking a question. So far, so good. Hoping they have better coverage and better support than sprint which really has gone to zero since the merger with tmobile. Store is clean and neat and they all seemed helpful and informative. Rates and devices are similar to other carriers.

I accidentally dropped my phone on 5/12, I arrived at the Verizon location in la Quinta and right away I was helped by Vicente which he was very professional and ready to go home but he stayed and helped me with my phone up grade, mine was damaged ( broken screen iPhone 7). And since I saw a commercial about getting up 1,000 dollars for my old or damaged phone. I got so excited! Because I had fallen on hard times at least something good will come out of it, right? Wrong, I went on 5/11, but was told that because of the date of my payment that closed on the 8th if I changed my plan to a higher plan I can up grade my phone so I did, but I had to come next day which I did and when I had everything ready just to pay, Vicente informed me in very dramatic way, he even sat on his chair as if I was holding something from him, like if I didn’t tell him my screen was broken I told him I showed it to you yesterday and he just smiled and said yes you are ready for a new one! And now he changed his mind well I had to pay full price!!! No discount no nothing but since I needed it for work I had no choice at that moment but I know I got scammed. Be careful when you go for something that is being advertised because they make false excuses of why you cannot honor the warranty.

Booked a 2pm appointment online to get a new device. Per instructions from the follow-up email, I used MyVerizon to check in at 1:45pm and waited in my car for a text saying they were ready for me. Pretty normal Covid protocol and a lot of places are doing this - so no biggie. By 2:15, no text had come, so I stepped into the store and was told that you have to come into the store to check in. Then waited until 2:45pm with no engagement from a rep. After waiting a total of 45 minutes beyond my 2pm appointment time, I opted not to waste any more of my time and left. Verizon needs to a) get their story straight on how they want you to use the appointment system and b) figure out customer service better. FYI Ive been a Verizon customer for at least 20 years and have never had this poor of an experience in a Verizon store.

While my wife shopped @ target I bought 2 new S10+s and a galaxy watch. My wife didnt like the color of hers when I met her at target so, we went back to the store. I had only cut small stickers on box, nothing else was touched. They wanted $50 restocking fee. Ive spent thousands of dollars @ this location over the years and to be Nickled and dimed now seems wrong. After my contract I plan on switching to AT&T. (The sales associate who originally set me up with my devices was very professional and efficient)

Ver poor. Verizon has downgraded their quality of Cust Svc. Went to Corporate brick & mortar to discuss changing plans for more economical. Been a long time customer. You basically are given a ph # to call. They will not do anything at the store. Drove a long way to only get handed a pc of paper and to call. Then get placed into chat queue. Where is the customer service. Pay a lot for a mthly plan and that is the best on gets. Verizon Executives are thinking they are too big to fail. It didnt work for the Romans. Overpaid Executives just want to keep their fin big salaries and herd the rest of Us around. Not happy with Verizons attitude. Sucks!

FIRST OF ALL PLEASE LET ME SAY THAT VERIZON WIRELESS IS WONDERFUL.HOWEVER, THAT SAID...This corporate store in La Quinta is the WORST EVER when it comes to customer service. To make a long story short, I needed human help to increase my data and buy an iPad Pro and so I went to this store and a woman then a man basically refused to help me and told me to call 611 or use the app, they ended up locking the door and I 100% never raised my voice, used foul language or was in any way menacing not threatening. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO VERIZON WIRELESS CORPORATE. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO OR NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!

This store has the worst customer service ever. Lisa seems to always be the one to call me and let me know that their store is “not a fully operational store” in the rudest most unhelpful way possible. After waiting for my appointment for 4 days I was informed that I can’t actually go into the store to get help, despite what someone at the store told me, and customer service setting up the appointment for me because that’s what they suggested. Honestly at this point I’m going to be switching to T-Mobile just so I don’t have to deal with employees that hate their lives as much as the ones do at this store. The store might as well be closed because they can’t actually help with anything right now.

By far the worst Store that Verizon has representing them. I dont know how they stay in business for this long if they dont have good customer service. I just went through such an unbelievable experience, only because I bought this 5g cell directly from Samsung before Verizon had it in the store and only because of that, well thats what the representatives said that is the explanation he provide me with a 5g sim card and I quote because you didnt purchase the phone with us and it doesnt matter if you been a customer for a long time, years dont count if he would give a sim card to every costumer that it come to ask for that sim card they run out. I asked him for his name because he had it hidden under his sweater but he refused and went inside and then comes out another employee and said to me and I also qote go and change company, to go to AT&T or TMovil one is over there and the other over there I was wowed! Thats the kind of customer service they provide now? I know one thing, what goes around comes around. hope these employees have their jobs secures for a long time because with that customer service I doubt it. It kind of make you wonder if they really are working for Verizon to be sending their costumers to the competition business.

I am sad to echo Normans experience, but I had the same experience. Do not make an appointment at this store. You will waste your time! While I appreciate they have to work within the guidelines of COVID-19, the way they handled my wife and I when we turned up for our appointment was rude. I read their signs as to where to stand. The same signs exist at Wells Fargo Bank down the street. At the bank, you can peak inside and see where the line is so you know where to be. When I did that I was rudely talked to and scolded to get behind the sign. Bad start! Then I learned they are out of SIM cards. No help with updating my phone. And, if I wanted to trade up, I was told to do it online. So I did. At T-Mobile! All because the woman who was signing me in could not keep her cool and treat me with respect and kindness. Verizon lost a $1,000 deal which T-Mobile got. Perhaps my review will make them think about what they are doing to clients, as hard as this COVID crisis is to deal with.

I walked in the store, I was greeted by Kareem, so I explained why I was visiting the store, my daughters almost brand new iPhone display turned green, so Kareem asked to verify my account, and little did I know that in my last visit the rep that helped me, removed my name as authorized user and put my wife as the only authorized person (I didnt know that has changed since no one told me or ask my permission to make this change in my account) Kareem was not help at all, he was not professional and he did not want to help me, he turned me down he said that he could no process my warranty on my phone and he even refused to get his manager when I asked to speak to him or her. I did not want to waist my time and headed to Apple store, when I walked into the Apple store I was greeted by a genius bar tech nicely and professional, they did take care of my phone. I got a brand new phone replacement. Verizon could not honor their warranty, thanks to Kareem at the La Quinta Store. Kareem if you are not happy working at that particular store or if you do not like working for Verizon, please find another job, perhaps doing dishes or cooking at the restaurant nextdoor, some place where you dont have to interact with clients, which is obviously is not your thing.

This location was so helpful. My online order awkwardly was somehow canceled and they helped me get the phone I wanted in store. Set it up for me. The lady helping me even had a full conversation with me, gave me eye contact and was engaged. She even gave me advise on my tablet and tried to help me out there as well. I went in to buy a new iPhone. They gave me a defective phone. Told me not to worry about the 14 day policy over the phone since I couldn’t go in any time soon to get it checked out, so I went back in to the store after 14 days. They then told me they couldn’t replace my DEFECTIVE phone that THEY GAVE ME because of their 14 day policy. It was either get a refurbished phone (which is absolute BS considering the amount of money paid for a NEW PHONE) or see if the issue can be fixed. Later on told me that they couldn’t fix my issue which was my phone freezing up constantly and restarting randomly. the actual phone itself was bent. They then sent me to the actual Apple store where they also told me they couldn’t replace it (obviously, since I didn’t buy my phone from that store.) nor did they know how to fix it. I hate this store and the customer service sucks. thanks.

Worst service Ive ever experienced with Verizon. I brought my phone in for navigation problems. They had a hard time putting in a new SIM card & now my phone calls wont work for receiving or calling out. They said they cant help & I need a new phone. I spent 5 1/2 hours here once to get my iPhone to properly connect to the Verizon wireless network. They never did fix my phone, but they changed my Sim card twice and suggested that I go home and call 611 from my phone that didn’t work? I should go home, well after 5 1/2 hours I just said Great but. At that point my phone didn’t work so how can I go home and call 611 from my phone? All I heard was go home so I went home after 5 1/2 hours like anyone one would of, and after I got home I realized I couldn’t make a phone call. So the problem was never resolved through this Verizon store. You have to pick your technician there carefully make sure that they’re not new and that they have at least six months experience is my findings.

We were ready to leave AT&T. They were ready to receive us, answer our questions and get away from our horrible phones and our horrible carrier. Fantastic customer service. As a side note, I wasnt too pleased with the 30$ per line fee to transfer from one carrier to Verizon. This fee was X4 for my defection, and it didnt come up until we were all very much commited into leaving and picking out new phones. Didnt like that, but I did like the customer service.

One star is too many for this location. They deserve zero. Horrible customer service experience yesterday. Will never return... and actually considering switching to another carrier. Loyal customer since 2003 and totally dismayed at how I was treated. Official VZW store and they could not get on the same page with their corporate office re: promotions. Manager avoided us, employees made excuses. No one would step up and do the right thing. Preparing a BBB complaint. Consumers, beware.

Went to the store in hopes of switching 5 lines from ATT to Verizon, walked in ready to buy phones. Not once did any of the 4 reps standing at the counter ask if I needed any help. Meanwhile other people walked in and were helped immediately. These 4 or so reps continued to sit and talk amongst themselves without any regard for potential sales. If this is any indication of what Verizon customer service is like, I will be happy to stay with ATT.

I’m very disappointed with this store, as well as they’re sales representative “Kareem”. I walked in with a simple question on my (Just purchased AirPods) that we’re delivered to the wrong address “Mind you this was a gift to somebody & I had to show up EMPTY handed to a birthday party because of this” the store closes at 7:00 pm I walked in at 7:12 pm. (Mind you the door was STILL OPEN to the public.) Then “Kareem” starts yelling at me “he’s gonna call the cops if I don’t leave right now!!!” VERY RUDELY. I only had a ONE simple question on how to fix the issue. I asked if he can atleast guide me in the right direction he was still rude. At this point I’m very frustrated & disappointed that I’m a valued costumer who pays OVER 500$ MOMTHLY of my hard earned worked money to get treated this way. It’s honestly unexeptable and I feel with as much as I give this company I deserve being treated fairly and with respect in situations like this.. “Kareem was no help whatsoever” I can’t believe Verizon would have such a rude person on they’re team. They managed to help make the difficult day I was already having due to a broken phone, much worse. The item I was looking to buy was only to be found for immediate pickup at the la Quinta location,I called them and told them I was on my way all the way from Palm Springs. They said they would hold it for me and I told them I would be leaving immediately (40 minute drive to this store) I was under the impression that they were closing much later and the guy never once mentioned to me that it was near closing time. When I arrived there were hardly any people in the store and yet I was still forced to wait 30 minutes even though some employees were not helping other customers. The guy approaches me like 10 minutes before closing time and tries to hurry me along with my order and questions/concerns, I had no idea what this was about until he starts to lock the doors and shoe away other customers. These people had me drive 40 minutes away so they could make me wait another half hour and then finally hurry me up the last 15 minutes before closing. Of course he could NOT process my order and asked me to come back the next day. We all know upgrading to a new phone & iPad usually can take a lot more than 15 minutes. Disgraceful to say the least, especially when he made it obvious the trouble I went through didn’t matter at all. Dont be jerks, If a customer calls you & tells you they will be driving 40 MINUTES to your store and you plan to make them wait while you people just stand around, at the very least LET THEM KNOW YOUR CLOSING SOON SO THEY DONT SHOW UP FOR NOTHING!
