This is thee most efficient, friendly mechanic shop that Ive ever been to. I went in due to a major chains mistake and they even explained to me how to ask for the chain to cover the costs of the repair. They also alerted me that it was time for new brakes. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast, they get you in and out, as fast as possible. I highly recommend this location.

They are absolutely great to work with. My vehicle was in bad shape from neglected maintenance and they have brought her back with a vengeance. I will recommend and continue to use them for all future services.

Transmission issues are expensive and always a hassle to be dreaded. My transmission went out on a Saturday, I called around places on Monday and decided to come here, brought truck in same day, had it diagnosed as a replacement necessary breakdown. Really hard news to hear, but when asked how long it would take was told 2 days for replacement to arrive and a day or two to finish, price offered was very reasonable, so I hoped for the best as I gave the go ahead.I called into the shop Thursday just to see if replacement had arrived, expecting the usual delay, instead I was told it had arrived, and already installed. It just needed to be driven, they also notified me that my real main seal was leaking, they decided to fix that as well for an extra hundred, since they already had the transmission out, asked about price of new brakes for front axle was told they would check it out and give me price by next day. They installed as well next day for half of what I expected, and was previously quoted.Come Friday only 6 days after initial break down, I had my truck back running smoothly, fixed and my pocket book was in much better shape than I ever anticipated.Prices are very fair per quality of work.They arent exactly cheap but they are not expensive for the quality and timeliness of work performed, as well as pleasant customer interactions with all involved employees.I would have paid 1k more for the transmission replacement elsewhere, and not gotten the warranty or experience I received.They have earned my trust and continued business so long as I am around.Thank you all for your tremendous work!

They always fix your vehicle correctly. They are up front on pricing. They are actually very honest. The staff and the technicians are friendly and explain everything in detail in plain English. I have never been screwed over by this company. My whole family also uses AAA for all our car repair and maintenance needs. We have been customers for over 10 years. Its definitely worth the little trip for me to drive from Nashville.

Over the last decade, Tim and his awesome crew at AAA Transmission Technology have replaced a transmission on my 2002 Honda Odyssey (that outlasted the van itself), then instead of replacing my transmission on my 1995 Ford Explorer, he rebuilt it saving me around $ 1500. I moved away in 2016 and never thought about needing their expertise; however, as I was traveling from Florida to Tennessee to assist with tornado disaster relief this March 2020, we had a major issue and I thought my transmission was slipping and about to go. We made it over Monteagle by the grace of God and got into Tims shop just before closing on Friday, 3/6/20. The tech there could have just went home and said we will look at it Monday, but instead took the time to diagnose it and made sure we had everything we needed to repair after the weekend. Turns out the transmission and emissions were fine, it was 2 motor mounts cracked and a front axle that was needing replacing. Amazing service and the owner Tim even remembered me even though we havent seen each other since 2015 when he worked on my Explorer. I wish there were more places like this for folks to be able to get work done professionally and with good value. Thanks Tim to you and your crew. My ride back to Florida was smooth and safe.

I did not get any work done but I went to get my transmission checked as the dealership said I needed a new one. I was provided valuable feedback as to the state of my car and next steps. I will definitely return when needed.UPDATE: Last week (Feb 29, 2020) I referred a friend to AAA Transmission Technology to find & repair an issue on their 2017 Nissan Frontier...Dealer in Shelbyville (where purchased) refused to repair under Warranty (37k miles). Jack, Tim, and the staff repaired truck in 2 days...at an extremely fair price. Now my car needs work so I will be visiting AAA Transmission Technology AGAIN soon. -Rich

Nice place to get your car worked on for a good price, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I took my vehicle here for some issues I was having, I ended up needing to take it to the dealership but they didnt charge me for helping diagnose the issue, would recommend.

Dirty Girdey gave them a fuss in getting parts for the clutch that she was happy with, but they stuck with it and now she shifts better then when I first got her. No more squeaking clutch pedal, and goes right into gear just like new..

My car was giving me problems and someone referred me to AAA Transmission. I would do business with them all over again. They are kind, courteous, and honest. Jack is the nicest person. Its rare to run across such genuine people anymore. I also spoke to the owner and he was very down to earth as well. Keep up the good work.

Worst experience ever! Didnt meet their diagnosis time they gave me (told me a few hours to give me feedback, it took 3 days for them to call me back).highly over priced me on a repair! I was able to find a professional shop that would do the same job for $1000 cheaper! Also once I arrived to get my transmission back, they gave it to me in a box completely torn apart... not the way I gave it to them. Wish I could give negative stars!!

Honest and effective. We were travelling from out of state and really in a pinch. They got us in quickly and dealt with us honestly. While others were estimating several days to even look at our problem, these guys had us fixed and back on the road in a few hours and for a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend them.

Stay away from this terrible place unless you dont want to drive your car anymore. They will fix one thing and mess up another in your car, so youre stuck coming to them again and again until your car, that you paid good money for, no longer works. Had my car for 10 years till I brought it to the con artist owner to fix. Take your hard earned money to another mechanic shop so you wont get ripped off like me.
