Tried doing business here twice for two separate bikes and ended up getting the bikes for over $1,000 to $1,500 cheaper just driving west and south!

Go to cycle world in houma. 100% worth the drive.. trust me. the fees here are insane. they DO NOT move on prices even if you have a 5 figure amount of cash in hand, and they generally seem like they dont want your business. was going to purchase a 2020 R6 from here but ended up getting it for 2K cheaper elsewhere. wont even consider this place for future purchases.

Called both locations looking for solenoid for the wench on my 4 wheeler. One wanted me to bring in the 4 wheeler, to look at the part. The other person was not any more knowledgeable. Would like people that are working in any area to know their products. That is what a customer is looking for.

I wouldn’t give these guys a cent of my money. I called and found out they had a machine I wanted to buy, told Mike I would be there the next morning when they opened, he assured me it wasn’t going anywhere. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened with cash in hand and they informed me that it was sold and going to be shipped to their New Orleans dealership. It was still sitting on the showroom floor, I drove over an hour one way to get there. The whole group of guys were extremely rude, bad way to run a business. Save your time, money and effort, and shop elsewhere.

I’ve never left a bad review before, but here I go!I had some Polaris parts from my local Polaris dealer in Florida ordered and ended up having to haul butt over to Louisiana for a project. So I grabbed those parts from my dealer on the way and have them installed in Lafayette.I called Lafayette Power sports explaining my situation and they declined me as a customer because the parts weren’t ordered from them.I was thinking about buying a new side by side as well. Guess where I’m not buying one from?

Great power sports store however they NEVER have anything that is advertised on their inventory online actually in stock. Sucks because when customers know what they want they don’t want to go in a be “sold” on anything else.

Lots of promises but no delivery. I called these guys parts department on Feb 24th to ask about a part another dealer said they showed in inventory. The parts guy said yes he showed it in inventory but he had to go an physically check in a warehouse and that it would be a couple of days but he would definitely get back to me. 4 days go by and I hear nothing, so I call again and leave my name and number with the receptionist because she said parts guy was with another customer. Now its a week later and I got zilch, nobody bothered to call or send a message. Obviously these guys dont give a damn about customers so I guess Ill take my business elsewhere. Too bad I wasted a week waiting for them.

I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure if they are prejudice or what the problem is. We went there to purchase 2 ATVs cash. No one greeted us, nor asked if we needed any assistance. Once someone decided to help us, his attitude was horrible. Definitely didn’t feel valued as a customer then, so we pretended to be indecisive about what we wanted and left! I’ll never in life step foot back into that building!

I purchased a Yamaha 4-wheeler from them 4 years ago. I wasn’t impressed with the experience and I feel there may have been some questionable practices involved. I purchased another Yamaha 2 years ago but elected to drive 2 hours to the Yamaha store in Houma instead. Today, because I’m interested in another bike and I was in the neighborhood of Lafayette Powersports, I stopped in to see of they had the bike I was interested in and possibly speak to someone about it. I’d hoped things had improved. I was wrong. I literally walked the entirety of the store, patiently looked at the bikes on the showroom floor and was not greeted once. There were at least two employees who were sitting at desks whom appeared to be deliberately avoiding eye contact. I promptly left and scratched this dealer off my list for good. Cycle World in Houma made me feel welcomed, valued, and, most importantly, didn’t try to pull any hijinks at the finance desk.

Terrible service. If you call and they say they will get back to you, don’t expect a call back. Service department is a joke. Once they sell you a vehicle and get that money from you, they could care less about helping you. It’s like nobody wants to be there and they are offended when you call and ask for help. They want to carry the title of “certified Yamaha mechanics” or whatever they call themselves but it’s an act of God to get anything out of them at all. They take there sweet time with the simplest job that could be done in an hour and drag it out for days. Overpriced everything as well. I wouldn’t recommend anyone ever shopping here. It was and continues to be an infuriating experience.

I bought a 4 wheeler.I put it on trailer then stopped for gas a mile down the road. I noticed one of the rubber grommets was missing on the cover that their so called qualified tech just put on. He also told me it had a strap but it was missing to. I called and they told me they would send me one. I waited a month and got nothing. I called and was pretty much told to bad they know nothing even about my phone call.

Excellent!Yes, I read the other reviews and had my concerns - so much so that I discussed reviews with staff. My purchase, which was through the parts department, was a seamless transaction; courteous, professional and prompt.My suggestion is that you let them know that your business matters. It worked for me and I am glad to recommend them because of it.

Got to give it to the parts guy.. if his job wasnt frustrating enough. I had wanted to order a part for my GL1800 and found out it was discontinued. I was a little upset but he started digging through all possible ways to find my part, despite the many phone calls he was getting and the number of customers he had behind me he found it at another dealership. He called and explained the situation and the other dealership was more than happy to work with me in getting this discontinued part. THANKS!!!!

This place is nothing but a joke! We purchased a 2018 Can-am four wheeler from them in March of this year and it has been nothing but a cluster every sense. There service is terrible from the from office staff all the way to there service dept. I would never recommend them to anyone at all. They are lucky I have to pick one star to leave a review because other wise it would be -5 Stars!

I had recently heard that Southside was no longer in business, I went there to purchase a part i needed for my Honda and sure enough it was LPS. Despite wheat I had heard about LPSs reputation i still went..as I walked through the glass door, i saw a familiar face, he had been there the longest and had helped many, many times before and always courteous and very knowledgeable.

Purchased a Can-Am Outlander over the weekend and rate the experience 5 stars. Top notch place to do business with.

I gave this place one star because I couldnt give it zero stars. I purchased a can am 4 wheeler from this business and naturally at the sale everything was great and all smiles. When I went back to have it serviced they were complete jerks and werent helpful at all. I also found out I could have gotten a much better deal at another place, but thats my fault for not doing the research up front. Apparently they dont know the meaning of repeat customer and service after the sale. This business fooled me once but Ill never buy from them again.

Im not entirely sure whats going on at LPS. I purchased 2 Seadoos a year ago this past summer and bought the service VIP package as well. The first year I had a good season. There were a couple issues with the ski I had to bring it in for but the staff was very kind and helpful. This last summer I had nothing but trouble and hardly got to ride due to mechanical issues. At one point I just got the machine back and after about 30 minutes in the water an oil light came on. I took it back and it was very low on oil. I explained I had a major trip planned. They assured me they would take care of it but when it came time to pick it up they said they hadnt had time to get to it and handed me a jug of oil and instructed me to monitor the oil. I went on the trip but could hardly ride to to so much oil passing through the motor it made the water have an oil slick around the ski just idling. Took it back in and it took 5 weeks to get the ski back. Again, the reason they gave was that they didnt have time to look at it or else the weather wasnt letting them test it, etc. By the time I got it back I wasnt able to ride again so took them to be winterized. When I went to pick them up the guy at the counter acted very upset, and was a little on the snippy side. Then after a long wait for someone to get the skis out of the storage yard the guy on the forklift never said a single word - no hello, good afternoon, thanks for your business - not even a grunt. He just dropped the skis and ran off while we hooked up. I sure hope they can get their issues resolved and realize that customer service after the sale is what makes people want to come back and refer other customers. As for now, its a wait and see for me.

Why open on Saturdays till 6 p.m if people cant drop off their products for service on a Saturday?

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Do NOT buy from them. First off they took forever to even come to me and greet me. When I got a Jetski from them It took forever also. They lost my paperwork a week after and had to redo it. I got their VIP 3 year plan which cost A LOT! They rarely ever finish it in a day like they say they will. Service it just plane sucky. Also their phones are messed up and always hard to get through just to talk to them. I would not recommend them. Good luck if you do.I would Never buy from them again!

Poor experience at a place thats obviously not motivated to sell or serve their customers. Visited May 17. The website under showroom and in stock inventory shows 16 different models of jet skis. Drove 1.5 hours to find out they had only 5 different models that you can actually look at (2 of the cheapest waverunners, 1 of the cheapest sea-doo, and 2 of the most expensive sea-doos.) A few others were actually in-stock but are in crates that you cant look at. How or why do they expect you to buy something that you cant look at first? The website didnt accurately show the crated inventory either, so dont trust website inventory. I did call before going, and it wasnt mentioned that they only had a few models to even look at. They lost the sale of 2 jet skiis from a motivated buyer. It was mentioned they could get models from other dealers but would need a deposit. Again, why would I buy something that I cant look at first? Going to Texas!

I bought my 2015 570 RZR there in January. I had a good experience with the people and love my sxs. After my 570 was stolen I went to Perry Pitre Ford in Eunice which happens to be a full fledged Polaris dealer. I bought a 2015 900 Trail RZR with a 2500 lb wench for less than I paid for the 570 plain, with better interest and more willing to accommodate you. Hope this helps.

Andrea is my wife my name is Isaac and I purchased a 2012 yamaha FZR SHO 1800 waverunner. the sales department will tell you all the greatest things to make you want to purchase a unit from them but when it comes to the service department they are horrible. I purchased the five year warranty with my waverunner and after having problems with it the third summer (exhaust valves didnt open on start up and engine blew) they always had a 2 to 4 month waiting period to even look at it. I brought the waverunner to triple L powersports in Texas who repaired the unit with no questions asked. The supercharger clutch package went out ( there were problems with it in 2012 yamaha put out a heavier duty clutch package) Triple L repaired it again. after getting the unit back it would kill the battery when riding (stater I presumed) I called lafayette powersports and they made an appointment for 3 days later brought it to them, I came in from work offshore and went check on it 4 days later and Brent at the service desk told me that triple L had smashed wires putting the motor back in. they were in talks with the owner to see if they wanted to work on it. I then brought it back to triple L where they inspected it and called me back in an hour and the stater tested bad (my original presumption). I hope this helps anyone looking to buy an atv or water craft. I will pay higher price at sales for great service but that is hard to find. If anyone knows of a great can am dealer with great service please let me know im in the market for a Maverick X mr 1000

5 months ago I went look at a 2012 Sportsman 500 H.O. The salesman wanted to haggle with me and refused a sale over $300.Instead of buying from this guy I went to Perry Pitre in Eunice and got a much better deal. After buying from them and comparing my bid from LP I noticed Lafayette Powersports charges a freight & packaging charge that other dealers dont because its INCLUDED in the MSRP of the ATV. Also after looking at the title charge Lafayette Powersports was trying to charge almost double what the title costs.After purchasing my ATV in Eunice i needed to have some warranty work done. Since LP is closer to my house I decided to bring it there instead of going to Eunice. I never even unloaded it off the trailer. After speaking with one of their guys I decided there was no way I would let one of those guys even begin to put a wrench anywhere on my bike. They are in no way shape or form a mechanic. Overall I do not see how this place stays in business. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

Customer service is DEPLORABLE. If I was on fire in front of these people they would roast marshmellows. Slimy salesman, lazy workers, sky high prices, everything you dont want out of a buying experience. Trust me people, go somewhere else, ANYWHERE ELSE!

I brought a 2016 yfz 450 from these guys and it ran like crap all the bolts where backing out!! Brought the bike back after a week its bogs so bad the bike literally shuts off

Their parts department is horrible. I wont bother even giving this place business again.

Bought a 2017 R1 Brett was nice enough. Reduced the price a few grand and threw in a free helmet.
