I initially reached out to the dealership via email and received a response from Taylor, who confirmed the vehicle I was interested in was still available and on the lot. Taylor then put a hold on the car until I could take a test drive a few hours later. Once my wife and I arrived we met with Brian who had pulled the vehicle right up front and ensured it was washed and the interior was clean. Once we came to terms we met with Joe and finalized the purchase. Everyone was super friendly and happy to help with all of our needs. I was in the collision area, not the car sales area. These seem to be two distinct and separate areas of the facility.I was impressed with the friendliness I experienced on a Monday. Both employees and clients were pleasant and cheerful. Even the Enterprise dude was happy to be there.What a great way to start a week!
Service for my oil change was quick! I appreciated the courtesy plug ins for my iPhone. I was really concerned about waiting for my car and having my phone die but I was super excited that wasn’t going to be an issue! I didn’t have to wait long, i plugged my phone in, watched tv for a few minutes, used the bathroom and almost right after I got back to the waiting area, my car was done!
As always, everything was great. Will Cadwalder called to tell me I needed an air filter, cabin filter and rear windshield wiper to ask if I wanted that done along with my oil change and tire rotation. I said yes and it all got done in good time
Chad was very helpful and my cars tire was repaired. They even went above and beyond and put plug covers on my tires. I appreciate that extremely. Told everyone I work with at SIA how good my device was. Thank you

They had the parts on hand and were able to squeeze me in and have my car fixed and back on the road in under an hour. Massive thanks to Jeff S. and Kyle R. For such quick work and the wonderful administrative staff that made today so much less stressful.
I had a scheduled 75k mile service including oil change during which it was discovered my battery was at 27%. Chad communicated the technicians’ progress frequently and informed me of my options with frankness, helping me to make an informed decision, and he was very patient throughout my questioning. I very much appreciate the waiting room with free coffee and a countertop with stools to do paperwork while also charging my phone on the chargers they provide.
New vehicle owner and 1st visit. I called to see about an oil change and was told it takes 2 hours and if I stop in without an appointment I must leave the car. I scheduled an appointment online. I had to leave work early just to get an oil change. The process was quick, half an hour. I was told I could wait in the waiting room. There was nothing mentioned about water, coffee, or refreshments. I did see a vending machine. With the exception of speed of service, nothing was customer satisfaction oriented.
I dropped my car off for oil change and tire rotation. After receiving my car my brake light on the dash wouldn’t go off. Spoke with them and they said it was from my new brakes I’d gotten a year and a half ago which isn’t possible because I’d been driving the car the whole time. So just make sure you check everything because they don’t fix the problems they cause they try to put it off on other people. BEWARE!!!

I liked the new layout of the service office. Seems less cluttered. And everything was handled right there. I didnt have to go to a cashier afterwards. Another plus. My vehicle was done quickly and sooner than I anticipated. My only disappointment was I didnt get a wash with the servicing. But I saw my sales rep and he got it washed for me, so all worked out. I fully expected to pay for the repair but it was brought to my attention from the service department that this vehicle was still under warranty so it didnt cost me for the repair.

Excellent service. Collision Centers Jeff Snethen went above & beyond. My 19 Chevy Silverado had a leak in one of the rear windows. Jeff quickly got Chevy to conduct the repair under warranty. He even offered to have the interior of the vehicle to be detailed. Highly recommend Jeff and his team at DeFouws Collision Center.
I give 3 stars because going through the buying process for my husbands 2013 Sonic was great. And its been a real champ, with over 274,000 miles on it. However, the service dept. is much to be desired. He or I take his car in regularly for service. Hes had a problem with a clicking noise that has never been resolved & for the past 2-1/2 years his rear wiper has been ripped-no suggestions for a new one. And brakes and rotor service have never been suggested, being told that he had 6 mm, then 8 mm. Now they need serviced theyve plummeted to 3 mm. And for the life of me I cant understand why theres not a loaner car program. I guess Ill stick with my Subarus.

Where to start. I bought my truck used from DeFOUW almost a year ago. Honestly, the best car buying experience iv ever had (big shout out to Noel). He was very professional and made you feel like you are part of the DeFOUW family. Unfortunately, I had some trouble with the upper ball joint a year later. I am not sure if who ever had the truck before me did something to weaken it or it was just a defective part. Thankfully, Noel called me back 20 mins later after I texted him. (Mind you this was on a Sunday almost a year later). The next day Noel was all over it having contacted Brian the service manager before I had even woken up. Brian called and let me know not to worry and that everything would be taken care of. To my surprise the next day it was ready to be picked up. I have just been blown away at the amazing level of customer service I have received.

I had issues with my car and called the DeFouw service department. They were booked solid with appointments, but since I live out of town, they agreed to scan it to see what the problem was. They did this as soon as I arrived and explained an issue and the need for further diagnostics. They then called me later in the day with more details and then again at 8:00 the next morning with more details. Due to the high mileage on my car and the high dollar repairs needed, I decided to not have the car repaired. I was immediately contacted by the used care salesman, Dan Landes. We set up a time for the next day. Dan was so helpful and kind. He showed me many vehicles and was very knowledgeable. I ended up purchasing a used vehicle that day and worked with a nice gentleman to do all the financing. I am very pleased with the service I received from all DeFouw departments. I look forward to continuing to do business with them for years to come.

Worst dealer ship I’ve ever been to from the sale people to the parts department and the shop if your in the Lafayette area do your self a favor and go to Mann’s in Delphi so much better. Pay vary close to what they tell you here because if they think they can get more money out of you they are going to I can go on and on about my experience there but I’m not going to. Don’t ever buy anything or let them work on anything they have no idea what the hell they are doing they can’t even put washer fluid in your car with out messing it up smh 🤦♂️

I highly recommend Matt Bolin if you are looking for a car. I was searching the lot, not having any intentions on buying a car that day. However, I fell in love with the first car I drove on the lot, and Matt helped it become mine. He also made sure that I was satisfied with everything about it. There were some scratches on the bumper that Matt made sure were buffed off. Also when I found out the key was never programmed to my car, all it took was an email to get my car in to have it fixed. If you want a car salesman that actually cares about your service, then Matt is your guy.
I received a checking-in email from Pam Strain- our long time sales consultant at the dealership. We weren’t really looking for a new car but decided to give her a call and after looking into the available incentives- it turned out that we could trade in our 2017 Chevy Bolt EV (we loved that car!) for a brand new 2020 Bolt EV with all of our desired upgrades. The new car has a 5 star safety rating, DC fast charging, Bose stereo, and service/support from Defouw and Chevrolet. Pam walked us through the whole process. This service center takes good care of my recalls. I havent had any issues and I was very happy with the service and the friendly staff. I had questions and the young man who helped me was very good at explaining the answers.
Dealer exceeded every expectation from receptionist, to service advisor, to mechanic, to greeter on showroom floor who graciously led me to the men’s room. As a physician and business owner, I am very well acquainted with service industry and managing expectations. I would enthusiastically state this experience set a very high bar and staff could certainly train other dealers to provide same level of professionalism and customer engagement.
This place SEEMS to be a good service place - aside from the fact that they changed my tires, my husband tires and my sisters and we all suddenly have a dent in our tire rim and the ONLY solution they give is spend 600 or so on a new one - scam. Never doing tire service here EVER again. Good oil changes, but I going back to Discount Tires in Lafayette, IN. Not one issue in 7yrs there.

I came in for service (oil change, tire rotation) and told them my check engine light keeps coming on. They told me I’d have to schedule another appointment to get it looked at. So even though my truck was already in the shop I would need to make another appointment. The last time this happened I was charged $90 for a diagnostic and nothing was fixed, they just turned the light off. Since I pay extra on my loan for a warranty and this is the service I can expect I will no longer be coming to you for regular service unless it’s a catastrophic engine or transmission failure. And that being said, your service department is solely the reason I’m regretting buying my truck from Defouw.
I was treated respectfully and notified of recommended services and additional cost prior to them being completed. I was felt safe waiting on the service to be performed. I was also greeted by name.
