Based on so many poor reviews I’ve read, dated all the way back to over 1 year, it sounds like nothing has changed and managers or corporate aren’t eager to fix whatever is going on at this location.It’s unfortunate, as we like Einstein’s … but we won’t be using this location anymore. Every time we’ve come here, the service is subpar, slow and completely inefficient. There is zero organization and no consistency. Customer service isn’t great either. I was shocked by the minuscule amount of cream cheese put onto my bagel … is there a cream cheese shortage I am unaware of? I don’t even think I had a tablespoon worth on my bagel. I remember a time when you’d get more cream cheese than bagel. That’s definitely not the case at this store.
This is long overdue as Ive probably eaten here 1-2 times a week for the last year. Food is decent, good for a quick bagel fix. 1 star because they consistently put a microscopic amount of cream cheese on their bagels. Im looking at my nova lox bagel right now and I bet you there is less than one tablespoon of cream cheese across both bagel slices. You can see the bagel through the cream cheese anywhere you look. 1 star until I notice a consistent difference but this is probably the 50th+ time its been of this quality or worse.edit: 8 months later and literally nothing has changed, here is a picture of what ordering extra cream cheese gets you
Their menu says that Cranberry bagels are available so we ordered online and drove out of our way to go get this particular flavor. When we arrived we waited in the drive up line for 48 minutes just to find out that the Cranberry bagels were discontinued after we were able to order them on the app. Never again...
Will never come back here. I have never been to this place and wanted to try it and i had a big order 5 bagels and 3 orange juices. During order process i felt like i was being rushed, I get to the window and the girl said oh your the one with the big order. Then after that the girl with the blond curly hair looked at me and rolled her eyes! How disrespectful and bad customer service. I would thoroughly check the people and their attitude before you decide to hire. If I could i would give this place a 0 star.

It got worse. Waited over 20 mins in drive thru for 2 bagels (I was only the 2nd person in line). They got my order wrong, and never apologized just took longer to fix. In the drive thru I asked for a cold brew they asked me if I wanted hot or iced. No one really cares how fast you go, but the quality of work you provide, and communication throughout that process, is what makes her break a quality business. Back to Starbucks I guess.
This bagel store is a poplar spot, especially if you catch their bagel deal on Mondays (get the app). Even Though the the line is usually long when I go, the bagels are great and the employees are so helpful and kind. Yesterday when I went the drive through line took 25 minutes, so be prepared to wait sometimes. Some times it takes less than 10, so its hit or miss. Im just hoping people are a little bit nicer to the employees when the line is long.
I’ve never actually been to your location but I love Einstein bagels! I REALLY wish you would change this locations hours to open at 530am. I work at the hospital down the street and start work at 6am. I would spend SO much money at your store if I could stop on the way to work and buy bagels for my unit. When I lived in Denver and worked at Saint Joe’s, there was an Einstein’s right across the street and they got so much business from hospital staff! Make a dream come true and change your hours!!! 🙏
I can’t order ahead at this location for some reason. Instead they insist I show up and order, then wait for them to make my sandwich. Why so inefficient? I’d eat here a lot more often if it didn’t take >20 min out of my day to get a sandwich
Ordered 2 blueberry bagels with butter and toasted. I received 2 blueberry bagels with butter, not toasted and a GLOB OF BUTTER!!! butter not melted!!! I had to throw them away!!!!!! $5,60 down the drain!

This location really needs to get their act together, Ive been here twice now and both times its been the longest wait Ive ever experienced and they got my order only half right both times.
Over past few months, Ive frequented this location for my sante fe egg sammy + black iced coffee and Aubrey and all the team have truly made my time driving through great. They always make me laugh and actually take the time to have a short, but valuable conversation. I appreciate you all. Thank you!
This used to be one of my faves, but someone in the chain of command is not a genius. This outlet (I dont know about others) has discontinued ONION bagels--practically the signature iconic bagel! Its not clear whose fault this is, at what level of management, because the staff of teenage drones dont know what to tell me. The flavors they still have are as good as ever, which is why I bumped the rating up from 1 star to 2. But no ONION bagels??! Come on, guys!!
Really nice staff and good food at a decent price! They also have a drive thru so I can have my dogs with me.
Great speed of service and friendly cashiers
Fast and friendly service but presentation could use some work. Looks like they just threw a slab of tuna onto 1/3 of my bagel and than a chunk of 5 unseparated onion into one side, than two lone onions onto the other. I’ll have to take one for the team and dig in by hand to redistribute the ingredients properly but I’m sure it’ll still taste great.
Ive loved Einsteins for many years, and today my husband got to try your food and a smoothie for the first time. He had a Chorizo Sunrise and a strawberry banana smoothie and he loved them both! Food was fresh, hot and we had friendly service at your drive-thru. We will be back!
The bathrooms were filthy and the floor of the kitchen was just as dirty and messy. Made me loose my appetite! Will never go back again!!!
Just left this place. Terrible, terrible service. The guy who handed me my food was incredibly rude. My sandwich was cold. I will never go back here again, and I will never order from here for my marketing events either.

I still cant grasp how super difficult it is to follow directions how hard it is toast a bagel even after they asked they still couldnt get it right. Every time I go here they get it wrong.
Good bagels, good coffee, decent service - not the best environment if youre looking to meet with someone or get some work done. The employees prioritize themselves over customers. Lots of conversations going on while there is a long line of people waiting to put in orders. In the morning hours, they keep the AC on way too low and the music way too loud.If a regional director did a discreet, surprise visit and had to rate their experience, I do think there would be some changes.
Is to go orders at the moment, however they are highly prompt and having your order on time or even ahead of time. Great friendly employees!

I love their bagels and I go here often, there have definitely been a few occasions of my order being incorrect but all together its a good place to eat!
Food and service are typically good at this location. Today the staff missed putting avocado on my breakfast sandwich. I chose to drive back to get what I paid for and received no compensation for the error... just the expensive spread of avocado we originally requested. This location earns four stars based on my experiences overall.
Today was my first time going here. The staff was friendly and patient with me while I figured out what I wanted. They offered lots of info about customizations. Food was excellent! I went with the tasty turkey.. Give it a try!

Disappointed to say the least. Had breakfast here today. I ordered a green chili bagel, got a jalapeno bagel. That I can deal with, but my friend ordered a sandwich and got a little something extra. 2 long strands of Auburn hair right in the middle. Im blonde, hes bald, so it definitely wasnt ours. Never eating here again.
20 minutes to get a sandwich is ridiculous. Had the cashier stop my order to answer the phone and take someone elses order, incredibly rude.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The children running this store are in serious need of some customer service training or better off finding a job that they’ll give the slightest care about. The guy I dealt with while ordering my food was so rude and lazy about everything. Moe’s Bagels down the road is one thousand times better and the employees are always a delight!

I have been getting breakfast here off and on for the past 5 months. Today I am beyond frustrated and need someone at Einsteins to step up!First: The person taking my drive through order did not know what was on the menu and had no idea what I ordered. (this was a simple straight of the menu - no substitutions order). Then once he finally laughed and chuckled with whomever was working with him - he had the sandwich right but then forgot about the coffee. Hot I said.I get to the window. 9 minutes later a gal hands me a COLD coffee. No I say. It should be hot. Oh OK she says and goes away. Comes back with my sandwich. I wait..... and wait.... then after waiting for a total of ..... 13 minutes I receive my coffee. No thanks for waiting nothing. The man with the long beard (ewwww by the way - you are working in food!) looked at me like what?I pulled forward to realize my coffee was only HALF full. Too frustrated I just drove off.Come on - there have to be better ways to train people at the drive through. Plus I wasnt the only car. Now the people behind me are waiting just as long and longer for their order.Not good. I hope management finds a way to improve the type of employee ownership they have. Which cant be too hard since right now I would say - Employee ownership (level of caring) is zero.Have a good Friday.Sabine
This is by far the worst Einstein Bros Bagels ever. I vowed never to go back to this restaurant over a year ago because their service is so terrible but I did so today because of the convenience of the drive thru. Not only did they not have any of the bagels I wanted when I got home to give my son a plain blueberry bagel it was a cranberry bagel with cream cheese. Never again.
I attached a photo, bagel was of poor quality burnt edges. Also Sunday mornings are bad. I think we waited 15 minutes last time. This time it was closer to 30 minutes. They need new management, better system, and an adjusted process. This place takes as long as a restraunt.
The staff at this Einstein location is fantastic! Always so friendly and they do a great job of providing excellent customer service. I am particularly impressed with how well they prepare the specialty cafe beverages.

ALWAYS Slow.... like ridiculously slow. Really don’t understand the point of a drive thru. There were no cars out front so for at least four to five people staffed shouldn’t have taken 30 minutes to get through Drive thru. Coffees are inconsistent, same coffee order.... always comes out different.
The service is friendly. There is good acoustics inside so it is good to meet and visit. They have fresh made bagel sandwiches with eggs and other goodies, as well as plainer or sweeter snacks.
Went for the first time two days ago great food great iced coffee. Next day mediocre sandwich and awful caribou cooler. Half of the staff seems disinterested bordering rude while the other half was very friendly.

Used to have the best iced black or green tea that was fresh daily with refills. Now that they have gotten in bed with Caribu Coffee, clerk cant tell me when tea was last made and no refills now. Coffee is fresh every hour with refills but tea is who knows how old, smaller portions, no refills and higher price. I used to be a regular 2 or 3 times a week customer but wont be back at all now.

Expansive menu but many tables were dirty room from previous customers. They often are out of bagel dogs and even the bagel selection is limited later in the day. Good rewards program though.
My daughters wanted bagels this morning so I said yes! Lets hit up Einsteins and head to the dog park... Well, we had the pup in the car so we opted for drive thru. A terrific option that only they offer. After waiting 20 minutes in line, it was our turn to order. We waited... we were asked to wait a minute longer.. we were asked if we had been helped... Really?!? We are in our car sitting in front of the speaker, clearly we have not been helped. We waited 5 more minutes before driving away. Never ordered, never got served. Went to Big Daddys and had food in 4 minutes. I will never return... its a shame.
I dont understand the bad reviews for this place. The staff is extremely professional and very nice to customers and provide great service. I come in at least 3 times a week and they memorize my order and are very quick.
The only reason Im giving three stars instead of two is because I do enjoy the food here. The food is pretty much always fantastic! However, the customer service is not that great. The employees are often very rude and they make mistakes a lot. And when you ask them to correct the mistakes, they act annoyed.

The food here is ok, but the customer service is AWFUL!!! I waited over 10 minutes with no line either inside or outside, I was given no apology or any form of empathy in response. In addition, I thought I had ordered another product and when I went in to check the cashier was extremely rude listing off the ingredients off to me like I was a moron and should already what was included. This location has definitely lost any future service! Employees in need of a MAJOR education in customer service and manners!
If youre in a hurry and looking for a quick bite to eat, dont come here. Despite the supposed convenience of a drive-thru I still sat in line for 30 minutes on a Saturday morning. From what Ive read this is a reoccurring theme so dont make the same mistake I did by thinking that your Saturday morning will be an exception.
They seem to have a hard time toasting bagels at this location for whatever reason. My toasted bagel usually comes out luke warm and soft to the touch. Great bagels, but the employees dont seem to care much.
Now that they have combined with Caribou, you get the best of both worlds. Fantastic bagels and excellent coffee. The service is friendly and fast as well.
Went through the drive thru last weekend. Was surprised at how professional, accurate, friendly and fast the service was. My friend always has to make multiple special requests to which most servers grudgingly accommodate then mess up. Not here. I was very happy with the service and the quality of our lunches.
Completely messed up my order after sitting in the drive thru for 30 min. When at the window, I asked the cashier to read my order back to me and had it read back correctly but didnt receive what I ordered. We will not be going back to this store again. You should close your business and allow someone else to occupy the space that will care about customer satisfaction.
Nice thing about waiting this long is it gives me a chance to write a review. Suggestions for improvement? FIRE UP THE 2ND TOASTER AND STAFF UP. Oh yeah, dont run out of popular bagels in the middle of the morning.

I entered the drive thru at 9:59 as the third in line and didn’t pull away from the drive thru until 10:26. I also only ordered one bagel. I gave two stars instead of one star because my bagel tasted good.
This place is hit or miss. Often times the lines are long and they rush to get the food out. When its quiet, its wonderful! I like to give them the benefit of the doubt and I return as a result.
We love it here we go every weekend but this past weekend it was really sloppy for some reason but the customer service was great.
I’m a regular I come in nearly every morning and there’s never gourmet bagels ready before 6 am at the earliest often even 7. The excuse is often that the baker doesn’t have them ready yet but seriously every morning? Will no longer go back king soopers has better bagels anyways

Really bad service and food. Egg sandwiches always cold. Never get my order correct, and have tried to overcharge me several times. Poor attitude of everyone who works here. Ive put up with it for a while because of the convenience, but fed up. Time to try big daddy bagels!
The employees in this store do not care about getting your order right. They have consistently botched my breakfast order, over and over. I hope they close this store ASAP and replace it with something good.
The service was pretty slow and the place was very dirty. No clean tables. Bathroom was disgusting, no paper towels. Floor was dirty & trash was overflowing. They had only been open for an hour at that time. Food was good though.
Always the longest wait for the drive thru of any coffee place. The food and drinks are good for the price, but the wait is ALWAYS twice as long as I expect.
Time and time again this location disappoints, I won’t be back until it’s under new MGMT and competent employees who care about their job. And yes, moes bagels right down the road has 100% better customer service and bagels.
Terrible slow service. Stood at the counter inside and waited for 12 minutes and the worker would not turn around and acknowledge we were waiting. Clearly they were understaffed but the workers were completely and only focused on drive thru and not at all interested on waiting on us standing inside. We will go elsewhere.

I am consistently disappointed in this particular location and have been since they opened. Being a new store is no longer an excuse. I would chalk this up as poor management, poor leadership and lack of any actual customer service at this point. Due to the fact that my order has NEVER been right,I have completely sworn off this place as one I will never go to again, but today my daughter was really wanting a bagel today, despite not wanting to support this store I reluctantly took her and what do you know?! They closed their doors early and when I pointed it out the girl said oh, my bad.That was the last straw for Einsteins in Lafayette. Anyone looking for a good bagel and good customer service should go to Moes broadway Bagels a few blocks down!!
I like this Einstein Bagels a lot. We go there at least once per week, and the people who work there are always friendly. Today the worker offered to cut our bakers dozen for use and told us about discounts on Mondays. I think were going to be here a lot more.
Whenever you order through drive through .make sure to check your order. Traffic makes it difficult to communicate through speaker box
The drive through sucks . Everytime I come through it takes over 15 mins to get one bagel. The staff is rude. Horrible place.
