Devin was the sales associate that helped me during my visit. He was absolutely amazing! Very friendly, personable and available for any questions I had. He walked me through financing my purchase and made it easy to understand! He deserves a raise! However, a 20 week on my furniture is outrageous! I was happy though that Devin was very upfront about that before I even started looking!

I purchased a sectional and recliner and was assisted by a very nice young lady. She could answer all of my questions and was not pushy or persuasive. She allowed me to have my space to think things out and she did not hurry me. I will purchase there again.😊

They didnt have a very big variety of in stock items. Its only been a couple of days but so far I am pleased with the purchase. The assembly instructions are lacking, but easy enough to figure out. The hardware was missing a screw, and had 4 screws that were the wrong size. Had to run to ACE to get replacements.

Very helpful and informative! I’m confident that I will get my furniture order this time! Thank you! DO NOT GO TO LEHNENS FURNITURE STORE IN LAFAYETTE INDIANA. Had our furniture ordered since November of 2020 and this place will never contact you about your order. I called 4 times only to be told there is no info or updates on order. Finally the last call to them and they told me “ I don’t know where your furniture is” they said “ it’s going to be awhile”.

We had a really positive experience at Star Furniture! We drove all over Lafayette that day- starting at Star Furniture. We found something perfect for us, but didnt make a purchase because of the long delay in delivery. We shopped around and just eventually decided that we really wanted what we found at Star Furniture, so we came back and made a purchase! Phillip, the salesman, was AMAZING! Very friendly, very helpful. We enjoyed the experience so much that we called back the next day and ordered a matching loveseat! Thanks!

Poor quality furniture and they dont stand behind the warranty. If you buy reclining furniture from Star and the mechanism fails under warranty be prepared to be told it was due to abuse and isnt covered. Save your money and shop for quality furniture somewhere else.

Staff unhelpful. Was very interested in a loveseat there for months. Was always told they dont have it in stock and they dont know when it will be available. Went in to check if the status had changed and its suddenly gone. Apparently it was accidentally sold off the floor and its become discontinued. Very frustrating experience!!

I am very pleased with my love seat! after reading these reviews I felt I needed to add my little truth about how Phil I believe his name was gave me the brush off after my being at their store for 3 hours!Finally I got a saleslady to help me pick out a love seat after being in that store THREE HOURS and people walking past me like I didnt exist!But when Phillip saw me paying CASH for my Love Seat he was ready to help me then!The saleslady wasnt about ready to let him come and steal her sale.It was over 700.00!!!I had to edit my review to let people know what I went through at Star Furniture and I also want to add I am a handicapped person too. Lucky for me they had it in stock. Everything else I looked at it was taking 12 - 16 weeks for delivery.

Keiley helped us and let us shop without following us around. We fell in love with a couch and offered us customization for it too. Great experience and great prices compared to everything else locally. Downfall is the lumbar/foam shortage with 5 month wait. Hoping we can see our couch sooner!

I ordered quite a bit of furniture back in December, as my husband and I were in the process of purchasing a new home and a lot of our current furniture was being sold with our previous home. I had done business in the past with star furniture and wasnt impressed, but there are not many furniture stores locally so I thought I would give them a second chance. Huge mistake! We spent a few thousand dollars and have yet to receive all of our furniture. While I feel I have been more than patient and understanding due to covid-19, at this point I just want a refund since other retailers now have items in stock I can purchase. Star furniture is hoping it will arrive the last week of July. While star furniture will let me return the dining room table and one chair still on order, Im not allowed to return the matching 2 chairs and bench that have come in. They still have the tags attached because I cant use them without the table. They just sit in my empty smoke free and pet free dining room. Best part, the table and chair is on display on their show floor, but I cant have it because it would leave an empty spot in their store. I regret ever giving them a second chance and I guarantee they will not get a third.

I rated them a 5 star a year ago, as it sits today- one star seems too high.We ordered a bunk bed from them in late October or early November. We were promised that it would be available in February. When we called, they said it was to be just a little bit late. The next day, they called to say mid-March. Today (the 27th), I call and am told early April. When I questioned if we were actually going to get it this time or be pushed further as we were promised early Feb and then mid-March- no one would respond on the other end. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing as weve bought furniture from them on at least 5 or occasions and theyve always been forthright and honest. Not this time, honestly, they may have lost a long-time loyal customer due to their dishonesty and lack of follow- through. 4 months to get a bunk bed is ridiculous!

The selection and purchase was great! The delivery had a little to be desired. They were right in time. They did not set up the furniture, and they just threw it in the middle of the floor. They did wait until my husband had it assembled and made sure he checked the electric parts.

I received information from my son about this store, I went online and was very pleased to find a loveseat for my den area at a great price. I called my daughter and had her go look at it for me. We were able to FaceTime her visit with the salesman (Devin) and he was able to help me with my decision. I live in a different city, but because of the salesman I was able to drive to Lafayette and purchase the loveseat and more without searching. Nice way to buy!

Our daughter stated that the gentlemen who delivered the chair were extremely nice and courteous. We are expecting when the couches are delivered the same wonderful standard will apply.

Sales lady knowledgeable, prices okay, did not buy extra warranty let see If they hold up11 months laterI was afraid of this, the furniture did not hold up well. The couch makes a popping sound when sitting near the middle. The recliner that gets the most used, is back is more noticeably “broken in” than the other recliner . Will not return,the five star is now changed to one star

I have shopped at Star Furniture for all my furniture needs, as well as my parents over the years. Went into Star Furniture today, and was very unhappy with the salesman’s cocky attitude as well as the quality of service we received. This use to be a nice furniture store you could walk into and purchase your furniture and walk out with it same day. This is no longer the case. 90% of their sales floor had to be ordered. 12-14 weeks is the wait time. Long time family purchasing here so no longer be the case. I’m not sure if they’ve changed ownership or management. But we did not receive the satisfactory customer service once offered here.

Terrible. Dont do it. Their furniture isnt the best quality, but its decent for the price. Weve had awful sales associates and awesome associates, just depends on luck of the draw. Warehouse, customer service desk, and delivery personnel are great. They have a decent selection on the floor, but almost everything has to be ordered. After our purchase we were told 10 to 12 weeks for delivery. 5 months later and part of our order still isnt in and is now discontinued. Very frustrating.

Was greeted when I entered the door. I told them I was just looking around but then I found something that i wanted and was able to find a sales person right away. They helped me through the whole process easily and even though the piece of furniture I wanted was out of stock with a 12-16 week wait time they were able to find me something similar and in my opinion better that they did have in stock and they were even able to accommodate a change from pick-up to in-home delivery. A+ service, thank you.

The furniture was excellent and they assembled it very well, but expect at least a 3 month wait and then expect a back order of another month or two before you get your furniture. We ordered a bed set in early August, didnt get it till December

Salesman was very helpful. But the delivery time is Ridiculous! We purchased our bedroom furniture on December 9th 2020. They told us 8-10weeks for delivery. We were ok with that since we were updating our bedroom and still needed to paint and lay new carpet. After 10weeks we called and asked about the delivery. They then said it will be the End of April. I decided to call and see if Maybe our stuff came in early and was then told that it will be the end of May! They claim the shipping issues are due to covid but I have family who have purchased furniture from them in the past and they had the same issue. I would not recommend. Go somewhere who has stuff in stock!

Went in and looked at some couches found something that I really like. its been so long now that I cant even remember when I first picked out my furniture and paid for it. But sometime a long about the end of June the 1st of July they said it would be available in September, now Ive been told its pushed out until the last week of November. We were so excited today to shop Star and purchase new furniture for our new home. I went on line created an account, added items to my wish list, etc. We get to the store and absolutely nothing we picked out was actually in stock. Fine so we looked at tons of other options and yet the response from the sales guy was the same...Nothing could be delivered for 14 weeks.No sofas, loveseats, accent tables This was A COMPLETE WASTE of our valuable time. If you don’t have any merchandise in stock then don’t advertise that you do. We found other stores that were happy to take our hard earned cash.

The customer service was good and the store was clean. However, I had ordered my furniture in August and was told my items would be ready for pick up in 10-12 weeks. It is now the end of June and I have yet to get my furniture. I was told my orders would be pushed back AGAIN until the end of July. Apparently, they are perfectly fine with loosing business if they cannot honor their due dates. If your manufacturer is having problems getting materials to make your furniture you need to take that particular item off the sales floor and say its unavailable until further notice. Instead you make people wait nearly a year before they get the product and still havent gotten what theyve ordered? I can honestly say that I will never order furniture from Star Furniture again unless their product is in stock. Hands down the most frustrating service I have ever experienced.

Just moved to the West Lafayette area, and was trying to furnish my apartment, and the sales people were so great to help me with what I needed. Even when my couch didnt fit through me door, they were extremely gracious. I really like the other furniture I bought so far!If there is something, such as a couch not fitting, expect to get store credit, and not a refund, which makes sense.

Best thing about them was their delivery. Although..You don’t realize how cheap their furniture is until you open it and see how bad the foreign workmanship is! Misaligned staples, plywood used as support brackets with more staples. This set was three years old and we realized something was off in it and opened it up. (That’s why they want no affiliation with you and your furniture once you’ve paid for it.)

So I visited Star Furniture on 1/16/21 to do some furniture shopping. I decided on what I wanted to purchase and came back on 1/22/21 with check on hand to go ahead and purchase sofa set and dining table set. I was greeted at the door by a salesman and he said we would be closing soon I said no problem I am not here to shop I just want to order what I have already picked out. He says to me sorry but paperwork will take to long to just come back tomorrow. I replied I just drove an hour to get here and Ive got a check for 5k worth of product. Then he replies its not about the money sir. Lol its a business thats what its all about! Anyways I went on there website and explained my problem to see if someone would contact me back. No one ever did contact me about this matter. Not so sure I would want to shop at a place where they dont value you or your money.

People are friendly, professional, and helpful. They have beautiful styles furniture. Thier sofas seem sturdy and good quality. However a lot of the tables, desk, and TV stands are pressed wood/engineered wood. They are not very sturdy.

Really not pleased with how the store loader treated my furniture at pickup. I went to Bay Door 1 as instructed and a male loader; presumably the person who put the Realyn Dining Server together, met me there. The entire time I inspected the furniture, he had his hands on his hips in close distance appearing disgruntled that I took my time to inspect the workmanship. In front of me and my husband, he slid the server on the black concrete until it reached the yellow edge of the bay door! I looked at him in disbelief that he slid an $518+ piece of furniture after I inspected it and was ready to load it into my car. Due to his carelessness, the bottom is damaged and covered in black and yellow streaks. I live in the Chicagoland area so going back to Lafayette is an inconvenience and the store has a strict policy that once you say “yes” and sign your name, then there is nothing that can be done. I would have complained at the front of the store but it was closing in 10 minutes, and employees were cleaning trying to leave for the evening. I’m furious about the scuffs and an obvious dig in the wood at the bottom. He should not get away with this and I should receive some of my money back.

I am moving out soon and yes I’m young and I do understand that not every teen that goes into a store is going to buy something but the negligence I got from most salesmen was astonishing. They would simple smile and walk to another customer and ask if they needed help. Completely over looking me. There was one person who helped me and helped answer all my questions. Her name was Helen! Best worker in the store. She was prompt and kind and very professional. She even suggested my options for delivery and already built furniture. I do recommend going there but if you need help ask for Helen. She will take good care of you.

We went in during the pandemic looking to replace our living room set. A specific salesman, Devin, was very helpful and informative. He worked with us about our budget, as well as availability of products.We looked at a couple other stores and quickly found out that not much was in stock right now, but also that star furniture qas atheist 30% cheaper than anywhere else in Lafayette. Everything was very fair. Pick up was also a breeze and they were very helpful with loading everything into my truck. I plan on all future furniture purchases to happen here.

From beginning to end, this was a great experience. I have bought furniture from here before and it was good quality, so I knew I was coming back when it was time.The sales people did a great job of not pressuring. They allowed us to browse without swarming us, but they were also close if we needed help.Checkout took less than 20 minutes and the delivery was scheduled for 3 days later.The delivery guys were very professional, polite and proficient.They were careful with each piece and were very nice.When its time to buy furniture again, Ill be back.

Everyone was nice to work with. Only issue is they have the wrong STAR furniture website linked to their information on google and Maps. They do not honor the sales from the website they have linked. It is a website for STAR furniture in Texas, not Lafayette, Indiana. Even without the discount sales, the prices are amazing and worth every penny!

Rude staff. Waited 5 months for furniture that never came. They pushed back my delivery 6 times and neglected to let me know 3 times that my order would not be delivered on time. Five months after ordering, they still could not ensure a delivery date, or even if the sectional I ordered would be made by the day they were scheduling delivery. Incompetent service, rude and unhelpful staff.

We were happy not to have a sales person following us around constantly, yet we were able to get immediate help and questions answered as soon as we asked. My furniture was delivered 8 days later and setup in my living room by well mannered delivery men.
