I have to give thanks to the new manager. I had so many problems with my order due to last manager. Just one call and this new manager fixed it all in just 2 weeks time I had both pair of glasses and they fit perfect. Im so sorry I forgot her name, but I am truly thankful for all that she did.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I should have known to walk out when during the first portion of the exam, the girls were standing around ordering hair for extensions on their cell phones. I then was escorted to a room where I did a telehealth exam and was given a prescription that looked very different from the prescription I had from 2 years prior with another optometrist. Against my better judgment, I looked at frames and was told that it would cost me $768.50. I said I would pay for the exam. I checked my bank today and they charged me $768.50. I have called twice for Stanton to reverse the charges which they say they have but my bank says it hasn’t been reversed. I will stop payment on the charge through my bank and Stanton will pay the fees!!! Don’t go there!!! It’s a scam!!!
Guys this place is the best ! I went in to get an eye exam not expecting a virtual doctor, but this has been the best experience by far. Then the Sales Manager Hailey was awesome, you guys should definitely visit shop with them. Everybody in there was so nice.

I went to this place for a eye exam and glasses only because when I called my regular optometrist they only had a opening in two months . I needed glasses right away . Mine were broken beyond repair.This started on March 3rd 2021 . To make a very long story shot the lab that was making my lens just could not get it right . This went on until I just had enough and accepted the glasses and sun glasses as they were . I went in the last time on May 29 th to pick up my sun glasses . I tried them on and told the lady that I could see which I couldn’t . I was just fed up with going there . Now I have to wait until next March to get another pair of glasses through my insurance. I will be going to my optometrist that I normally go to . This is just insane how they just could not get it right . Through all of this they even tried to tell me that there was nothing wrong with my prescription and that I should be able to see with what they sent me . I know what I can see through and what I can’t see through . They tried this mind game on me . I’m sooo done with this company . They do have SOME nice pplIn there but their lab stinks . It must be in BFE .

I made an appointment the day of online for my husband, he needed eyeglasses bad he broke his at work. It was quick and easy to make an appointment. Got appointment quick the day of. When we went they were friendly, courteous, didnt make you want. They kept u really informed, explained everything to you. It was a great experience, I would recommend Stanton Optical to everybody that needs eye care.

Experience wise, it was a very pleasant visit! While looking into the machines, the nurse (I didn’t catch her name) amazed me with her multitasking skills and was VERY polite and sweet. She took great care of me! While looking for glasses, Stacy helped me pick out some and took great care of us while there. She was very personable and I felt very comfortable there. Setting up an appointment was also very easy online!The worst part about my experience with Stanton optical is that it is taking very long to get my glasses I paid for. I have been waiting for about a month when I was told it would be 5-10 business days. When I call the store or customer service, I get hung up on every time.

First and last time using this company. They notified me that my order was ready, I took off work to pick it up when I arrived they had a hand written sign that they were closed for weather at this time they had a worker inside on the computer. It was cloudy and a tropical storm was in the gulf. I called the only number possible to ask for the worker to bring my order so I could leave and they refused. If they tell you your order is ready then they need to at least give it to you when you show up.
Went into store today they were very busy yet everyone on that staff treated everyone that walked in like they were important. These other places around here only care about the money. I saw the Store Manger give people hugs when they picked up glasses she remembered names and asked if the lady was feeling better. My family and I have found our new place for glasses.
Great friendly staff but I’ve waited for my glasses for 2 months now. No one has called me to update me and when I call I am on hold for hours at a time. At this point I just want my money back and I’ll take my business elsewhere, just need new glasses and I feel two months is a long time to wait for 2 pairs of glasses
I really like how they are able to do telehealth eye exams here! Also Haily was very polite, friendly and helpful. She took time with each of the patients even though she was mostly on her own.Update: the above is true but it took months for my contacts to be ready. I eventually went to the store and they were sitting in a large pile.
My daughter and I came to get contacts and glasses and they are still running limited staff due to Covid-19 however the staff was so friendly and helpful. They were very busy however everyone received the same friendly service. This is the second year we have gotten our eye care from this location and will continue to do so.
Went into the store for the 3rd time Saturday and was as always completely satisfied with service I received. The two young ladies in the store are always friendly and patient. I heard the lady in the front even though it was extremely busy take her time with a customer who had a million questions all while still speaking to and directing everyone who came through that door. The only thing this store is lacking is staff. The two young ladies did a wonderful job I just feel its horrible for them to be working as hard as they do with so many people looking for jobs. Anyway I took my cousin to get an exam, the manager was awesome and knowledgeable and most of all personable to us inspite of being extremely busy, she even took time to speak to my cousin about the benefits of getting his degree before pursuing a career in music ( he wants to be a rapper 😩) so he could know the business side of the industry all while checking us out and maintaining the traffic in the store. If I could give them 10 stars I would. But your customer service call center is the worse. They lie about being in the store and made my cousin’s appointment in Texas because that’s where his telephone number is from. If I could give them a -10 I would.

Jodi was a great help with helping my son pick out stylish glasses that would be more durable for his frame size and his lifestyle as we have been through 3 pairs in the past 6-7 months that werent durable enough. And Mrs.Stacy as usual was very helpful making it affordable!!
Staff is very friendly, but I will never recommend this company to anyone. I ordered glasses and received a pair for free, with an eye exam that was virtual. The glasses came in two weeks after the order, but i had to wait 9 months to receive the sunglasses. I had issues with this company since January with orders not being put into the computer, having to order frames after another due to the color or same type of frame not being in stock, and frames breaking twice within a month. I am not pleased with them at all or the quality of the frames! I basically lost money, and have to start all over now!
I see all these reviews about it takes 1 month or 3 weeks to pick up there order and I just had to comment.When I went into the store 2 weeks ago there was one young lady who was running the whole store. Not only was she still friendly and took her time with the 20 plus people waiting for her she also didn’t break a sweat. We are in a pandemic and we all should use a little grace when it comes to the time it takes things to come in. If I could leave 10 positive reviews for every negative review I would. As a essential worker who works with the public daily I know the hurdles this store is facing and the lack of patience people have these days. This store and that lady was doing the best should could do with her circumstances. Actually she went above and beyond the impossible.So PEOPLE GIVE THIS STORE A BREAK!!!!!
The eye exam was a joke! It was virtual and my left eye lens kept fogging and I kept telling the doctor that there was an issue but he ignored me and kept going. Ordered glasses. Two weeks later I called customer service because no one answers the store phone number. I was told my glasses were in transit but was delayed due to weather. When they still was not there 4 days later I called and asked to speak to manager. I was put on hold for over 20 minute and no one attempted to answer the cal . Now over 3 weeks later I get an email (still no one live person to talk to) saying that my glasses are delayed with no date to expect the arrival.

Over $500 and 3 weeks and I had to drive to the store to find out if then even had them in. One pair ready. Hard to get anyone local on the phone and store is filled with waiting customers and two people working. I realize we are dealing with Covid but I will not be using Stanton Optical again.
The staff is very nice and they accept walk in appointments but they are very unorganized. A week after my exam I stop in to see when/if my glasses were ready. They told me in 5 days. I get a call and email saying they are ready 2 days later, but I waited until day 5. Not only are they not ready they cant find them

Was told 7 - 10 days for my glasses. Its been 22 days and still nothing but excuses. I keep being told it will be in in 2 days and 2 days later they are still not in it will be in 2 more days. Im having constant migraines and cant work. Totally unreliable.Went back again and the doors were closed and locked. I called customer service and was told I must be mistaken they are open. I explained to home that the doors are locked, lights are off and a sign stating they will reopen on the 23rd. It was the 26th. Sign was still taped to both doors. Not sure what to do at this point. I paid a lot of money and have received nothingHere we are 4 MONTHS LATER, no glasses. Have called customer service. Was told district manager would call me back. Never did. So called again and asked for refund. Put me on hold and never picked back up. 3 hours on hold. Thats right. 3 hours. Im telling everyone this IS the worst place in Lafayette. Still cant get my glasses or refund. Considering legal action.
I went in for the first time today as a walk-in and was pleasantly surprised! My dog had chewed my glasses to pieces and I was out of contacts, and being that it was Good Friday I could NOT for the life of me find a doctor that was in office today. We called ahead to be sure I could walk in and be seen, and I was not disappointed. The service was phenomenal and every person that works there seems to LOVE their job. I couldn’t have asked for a better staff, honestly. I couldn’t believe how smooth and quick my exam was, I felt that I was being taken care of to the fullest extent. On top of that, I love that they were willing to take care of me and help me choose what I wanted based on what I could afford. I also enjoy being able to leave with my glasses less than fifteen minutes after paying for them. Overall, this was the best experience I could’ve asked for on a day like today and I will be back!! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!
This places is the worst. Took over 2 weeks for lenses, frames, and contacts to arrive. My purchase was there well before their system showed that they were. There is no doctor there to discuss your eye health with nor does the virtual doctor care to discuss. It’s run by unlicensed helpers that know less about eyes than I do. Forget the savings they advertise outside. Will cost no less than $400 without insurance. Inside, there is stuff everywhere. They claim to clean the place but the chaos inside suggests something completely different. All are best served going to a locally established eye doctor instead of this corporate cesspool of greed.

I came in yesterday during the managers interaction with a very rude man. The man was cursing and screaming for what seemed like no reason. As the man was screaming another worker came and greeted me and my husband. With a smile like nothing was happening. I then heard the manger in a very calm voice tell the man I want to make this right I understand your upset what can I do to make you happy. The man continued to rant and rave from what I could tell about glasses supposed to be done by Wed but he wanted them there yesterday. What I loved is she never loss her cool. The staff continued to smile and never skipped a beat. When my husband got done with his exam the same manger helped me and she treated us with warmth like we were family. I have been on many places where a rude customer would make the workers rude this did not happen. On top of everything else my husband left with his glasses in 20 minutes. I recommend this place to every one who will listen.
This place is great not only did they take great care of my 8 year old daughter, in a true kind hearted way, but it was last minute for myself. Everyone did an amazing job from the moment we walked in till we left. I left with 4 pairs of glasses for the same price I was paying for one pair. Great place and great people highly recommended!!

Stanton Optical has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. As many have posted, I gave them one star because zero stars is not an available option. When I ordered my glasses and paid in full on day one, I was told I would receive my glasses in 5 - 10 business days (2 weeks, right?). From day two when I received an email confirmation, the order status online has stated “Order received and prepped”. There has never been a single useful bit of information; always that same useless message. Today marks two weeks and one day (11 business days) and still the same message. I have attempted to call the store and also the corporate customer service department but every time I call, the call is dropped before ever getting to speak to anyone. Short version; if you have ANY other option, don’t go to Stanton Optical.
Worst customer service ever..Ordered glasses in march and still have not received them. Have been told 4 times that the glasses will be there in 24 to 72 hours. Every time we call we here the same 24 to 72 hours. Just talked to a rude young man at the store who hung up on me when i asked for a supervisor. We called corp.to ask for a refund but of course there is no supervisor around with the authority...was told that mgt would call us back in....you guessed it...24 to 72 hours. Next call is to BBB
The service in person was fine until it came to my contacts. Long story short, they were supposed to send me contacts within a week of ordering and ended up sending them to me months later. It was infuriating because someone forgot to place the order TWICE. If I would have known I would have ordered from 1-800-CONTACTS instead of having to wait and go through several special occasion events without contacts. Probably cheaper too!
Called the store and asked for availability of specific inventory and was told that it was available. Drove 20 minutes only to discover that they did not have the item, and the person on the phone lied, they were not stationed at the store. Just customer service looking to get whomever they could to go in to the store.
Went in at last minute because I needed to update my drivers license. The young lady who greeted me was full of energy and smiling. I asked about appointments and she said “ you don’t need an appointment here we can take you now”. Let me tell you I was sold then. The place I usually go I would have had to make a 3 month or more appointment until I can get seen. The eye exam was different but fun, and she actually walked through and helped me find glasses. I paid less the. I usually do for 1 pair and got 2 pairs that I love. The place was cool, the staff was friendly and the price was excellent. I left feeling like family which is what the Store Manager said she hopes all her patients feel like because we are. I’m an old man and hate change I’ve been going to the same place forever well this dog was taught a new trick and I’m so thankful I learned. P.S I also now no how to do a review thanks to my grandson so Lafayette watch out!
I have been to just about every place in Lafayette to get glasses.When I can here it was different but I stayed. The way the do exams is like something out of the future but I see better then I have before.Also the staff there was friendly and helped my daughter find the glasses she loved. This is the first place that during the process we laughed and smiled and my daughter actually gave the manager a hug. She’s 14 so you know that’s a big deal. WE WILL BE BACK!
I would leave zero stars if I could. Brought my 2 teenagers there on june13th and paid $600 for 2 eye exams and contacts for both. Was told it would take 5-7 business days to receive the contacts. It is now a month later and still nothing. Every time we call we are told they will be in next week, but it never shows up. I have asked to speak to a manager multiple times and was told they would return my call in 24-48 hours but they never call. The building itself is brand new but very dirty and unclean.
I have been waiting for a month & still no glasses. Was told 7-10 business days. Called customer service numerous times, only to be hung up on. When you finally get a person, who speaks broken English, they know nothing. I want my money BACK!!! Will be contacting my Attorney & BBB!!!
No one in store hardly ever answers the phone, I got a call saying my order was in, Went to the store for them to be closed. The website says they are temporarily closed and have no way to contact them to get my glasses which I need for school and driving.
I have had couple less than happy visits here in the past, partially due to covid however today had a wonderful professional experience with Ms Andi and look forward to future purchases.
My 9 year old went in for her first pair of glasses. Everyone was so friendly and took their time making her feel special. They also took the time to explain everything that was going on so we could both be informed on what was needed. By the end of the visit my daughter was excited about having glasses. Could not ask for a better experience.
Even though they were really busy when I went, they were really nice and clearly trying very hard to take care of everyone as best they could. Jasmine is an absolute gem, and she and the other staff were all very helpful. Jasmine, though, went above and beyond to help me pick out my glasses and make me feel welcome.

The staff if beyond amazing, I got there 5 minutes after closing knowing they could deny me. It was a desperate last minute attempt to get my glasses, and they helped me. I have been needing glasses for quite some time...Always needed but never wore...So I had been driving past this place so often....Well today was the day I decided to go by....I was very impressed with everything...The ladies at the counter were very sweet. I was directed to the right place quickly and my wait time was very short meaning I didnt even have an appointment scheduled....I was really impressed with their operations. The staff definitely aimed to please...I have so much trouble finding the right fit for my face....they took their time and understood what I was needing. I found exactly what I was looking for and was very pleased to leave with my glasses on the same day.....Thanks so much Stanton Optical of Lafayette Louisiana for the great service. I will definitely go back
