I received a prescription from my Dr. This pharmacy changed the price on it twice in 2 days before I even picked it up. The staff over the phone was snippy and rude, and even though my Drs office told me to call Meijer and have my prescription transferred to another pharmacy, when I did call I was on hold for 20 minutes, and then the woman on the other end got short with me and said they cant do it and I would have to contact the other pharmacy and have that pharmacy call Meijer. Sounds like a lazy excuse to me. Their prices on goodrx are in some cases $200+ more than other local pharmacies, so if you have a prescription here Id advise you to check that they arent charging you an absurd amount more. I will never fill a prescription here again, Im done with Meijer Pharmacy and their rude, insensitive, lazy staff.
Very helpful. If you dont have insurance they find ways to make your meds cheaper.
Very slow service, hours are not great, they seem to have a difficult time filling prescriptions correctly and in a timely manner. With my last prescription took the pharmacy three times to get it correct. Then there were billing issues. This has been an ongoing issue. I continue to use the pharmacy because it is nearby and Meijer pharmacy honors GoodRx which saves me lots of $$$ on this particular prescription. Really, it should not be difficult to count 90 pills and throw them into a bottle.
Pharmacist are very helpful
I called in to fill my prescription on a Thursday and they said that I could pick it up on Sunday. I never received my text confirmation so I called on Saturday to make sure I could still get it on Sunday. They said it was never filled because they didn’t have a refill script. This information was never shared with me. Nothing can be done because it is the weekend and now I don’t have enough pills to get through until my script is filled. They “can’t even give me a few emergency pills”. VERY UNIMPRESSED
Absolutely the last straw. I will not be back here again and you just lost a loyal customer. I usually do my grocery shopping at Meijer, but no more. I have had issues with the Pharmacy in the past, but I thought I would give them one last shot...First, they are the slowest pharmacy I have used in town. I had to hand the tech a paper script because I was filling a prescription for pain medication after having had a huge tooth pulled out of my mouth earlier today. I have a huge crater to show for it.I went in around 4 p.m. today and handed the tech the script and I asked her to look everything over and please make sure everything looks okay because my dentist would be closing shortly and my phone was dead, so I didnt want any unexpected surprises. She looked at the script and said it looked good and would be done in around 45 minutes to an hour.So I waited around for it like I told her I would and when I went to pick it up an hour later, another woman behind the counter tells me they have no record of me in the system as having a prescription and she goes back to ask the other woman about it.After about five minutes, they come up and the original lady explains to me that since there was a stamp of the prescription, she could not fill it. Mind you, it was not a stamp signature, it was a stamp of the prescription so it would be legible and the amount prescribed was filled in by hand. The signature was the actual signature of the dentist. She explains that by law, she cannot fill the prescription because of the stamp and says by the time she figured out she couldnt fill it, it was too late and she could not reach my dentist (who is actually located in Frankfort by the way, about 40 minutes away and closed now anyway). I explained that I have a huge crater in my mouth that is throbbing profusely and that I did not widdle a stamp to forge a prescription, as I was being treated like I was some sort of drug-seeker. She said in a flippant tone of voice that I could just take it elsewhere, to which I obliged.I ended up getting my prescription filled with no hassle elsewhere and I saved $6. The tech at the other place explained that it was fine to fill, because the signature was not a stamp and was a genuine signature from the dentist and that was what mattered. Needless to say, I will not be back to Meijer.
Friendly staff
While I was at the drop off counter I asked if she could see which option would be cheaper. I was told that would take too long and they were too busy and if she check they wouldnt be able to fill it today. This is the first and last. Its her job. Kroger pharmacy in Monticello gives each customer polite, professional service. Lesson learned. The rude young lady with red hair.so sad.
Took an hour to get a flu shot. Just go somewhere else.
Best people work at the pharmacy so kind courteous and friendly
Because they were nice to me
Terrible and slow service take your business elsewhere. Ive really tried to make it work here and it hasnt changed in the last year.
Slow, 2 hours for a script. Wft
