Consistently year after year the worst signage and product placement ever. Nobody on the floor is available or wanting to help unless you go seek them out yourself, sometimes having to break up their little (not in the break room) meeting. Its easier to go to HomeDepot.com while in the store to find the right aisle number. None of them are actually coached or trained to say, Hey can I help you find what youre looking for. But once you actually find the right person it is a joy to talk to them. They are trained very well like that.

The store is near by my house and that is why it is getting the two stars. Other than that there is nothing good I can say about this store. It is like some of the Chinese buffet, if you know where it is and if you know what you want, you can eat other wise... you are in wrong place and nobody can help you. It isnt like they dont want to it is because they lack knowledge they need to help you. I have talk to the store management and they dont really care and they would like nothing more than you dont ask questions that they dont have the answer for and go about your business. I have read a lots of reviews about home depot and it seems this kind of problem are common among most home depot stores. As long as they are the only game in twon they do what ever they want.

Home Depot is always a great place to shop for home needs. But Halloween time they have fun and exciting buys. This year doesnt disappoint either. Had a return also, theyre very quick and efficient.

Went to the electric department and they were very helpful in guiding me in doing the job at hand. Appreciate them a great deal..

My family and I were there yesterday and we were given the best customer service experience. The employees were very friendly and helpful and polite. We were able to find what we were looking for ran into a few friends but we had the best experience with this Home Depot.

Brought in old light bulb as reference to replace and asked for associates help. Unfortunately the bulb recommended not even close to matching type bulb brought in. Disappointed.Looked at refrigerators but nobody around to answer questions. Store is ok but I didnt find expertise a novice person may need.

They said my order was ready after 10:00am I show up then they told the was out of stock It would have been nice to get a phone call instead of wasting my time due to peoples laziness pathetic 😒

Great store but I ended up leaving and going to Lowes. Asked 4 employees for help in the carpet section. Ended up waiting for half an hour. So I left.

I rented a flat bed truck which was only $120 for the whole day with good gas mileage and a back up camera. But i also dropped cash in the truck and their employee, Dominic in Tool Rental returned it to me after he checked the cab. Very awesome service.

Very negative experience with Home Depot - Laguna Niguel. My wife went in for hip replacement surgery on December 22. A week earlier the dishwasher stopped working. We bought that dishwasher from the same store back in June 2018. At any rate, we ordered a new dishwasher. Eventually, they told us we would receive it January 14, 2021.The problem is that the crew they sent over to deliver and install the new dishwasher was very negative from the start. They didnt call us ahead of time as promised. They just showed up. Then, their lead guy, David, said there was a problem because there was water in the old dishwasher. To me this seemed like a simple fix. Scoop out the old water. Eventually, David asked that I give him some towels to dry it out. Problem solved. Next, he comes backs and says he cannot get the old Home Depot dishwasher out. Apparently, that was now my responsibility. I was frustrated. I said it was okay to take the new one back to the warehouse.So, I called the store and was told to call back in the morning. I called the national office and was also told to call back in the morning because, they said, the delivery company was closed for the day.Im on hold right now with my second call with the national office. Im killing time and listening to their music even as I write this. Basically, it seems to me that Home Depot owes us to fix this. If they old dishwasher is too tight to remove, then this is a problem they created for themselves back in June 2018.At this rate, Im done with Home Depot. The dishwasher we bought from them in June 2018 worked for only about two and a half years. It was apparently installed incorrectly. Or at least poorly enough that their current crew isnt able to remove it. Next, we are cheated in terms of the promised delivery date. We are again cheated when Home Depot refused to take out the old one, carry it away, and install the new one. Im beyond frustrated at this point.Home Depot was a great brand at one point. As of today, however, I will be shopping elsewhere.

If you ever need tools at the Laguna Niguel Home Depot the man to see his name is Larry he is a great guy, as he knows his tools he also knows a lot about hardware as well .

To be honest it kinda sucked.. I walked by 6 employees and no one asked me if I was finding everything ok . I had to go ask them.. Place was pretty cluttered.. I like home depot but this was my least favorite one.. And no I didnt find what I was looking for.

I frequent Home Depot and this one is in my top 10 most visited. The customer service has degraded to nothing. They advertise this app to find things. Which is great for the occasional diy project but for pros trying to get in and out and missing one thing they cant find its awful. What really hurts is that any employee under the age of 40 cant function without the app. Make the employees learn the store or lower your prices and your staff number and Ill use the app.

Lots of damaged merchandise on the shelves, opened boxes, returns? I had 3 appliances delivered, 2 were damaged, and the 3rd they claimed they couldnt install and still charged $120 installation. Left trash in driveway...had a dishwasher replaced at a rental - came damaged. Damage Depot. Stay away on weekends/zoo, long return lines. Some nice people, some not so nice. Miss Lowes.

Home Depot is a one stop shopping experience for the novice or professional home repair person. Thanks to the pro sales associate who directed me to the aisle and item I needed I was in and out in no time. Needed some surface mounted electrical track, and wiring. I find the sales associates to be knowledgeable and frequently professionals in the departments they work in. Very pleased 🙌👍

Customer service desk is rude and uninterested at n assisting customers, they seemed bothered and even unwilling to look up from their computer. I will go toLowe’s!

Was denied key cutting by Larry or Lenny cant remember. Had brought my own blanks(always factory oem) so obviously they will work if theyre cut right. He tried to tell me they NEVER use customer supplied blanks. THAT was a lie. HE never does. Someone there cut my own blanks for me maybe 5 months ago and they worked beautifully. I was beyond happy. Maybe this guy was lazy? Didnt wanna risk ruining my blanks? I dont know. But it sucked. Just cut them, I release liability. $30,000 automated key cutting machine doesnt make mistakes! Smh

Theyre a little under stocked right now just be careful where you park cuz people do not watch or slow down

Sadly, Home Depot isnt what it once was ... my go-place for all things homeowner. Now I only go for small items and because its close. I recently rejected a substantial $$ bid for a kitchen remodel because of poor follow-up. Today, the place was crowded with unused, parked ladders eliminating the use of the isle, mostly inattentive employees who look defeated. Except for one in the insect repellent section who, unsolicited, asked if I needed help and actually provided helpful advise. At check out, although I was wearing my Korean Veterans Cap, the cashier carded me before providing the 10% discount. Her attitude was similar to one asking an obviously too-young person trying to buy alcohol for a drivers license. Unfortunately, a close-by Lowes recently closed removing that option. Lowes recently remodeled one of my bathrooms and did a super job. I think whenever possible, Ill drive a few extra miles and go to True Value. Sad.

This location of Home Depot does not care about its customers concerns. I bought a brand new Frigidaire side by side refrigerator at 3 months ago. 1. After one week, the company sent me a damage refrigerator. 2. They took it back and sent me another one after one month!. 3. After 3 months the door sealing detached and the food got spoiled. When I called the company, they said somebody will come and check the product in one and half month!!! When I met Dough, the Home Depot manager, he said do not worry I talk to company and call you in one hour. After two days that I did not get any respond, I called Home Depot. Jose, as a manager said Dough is not here!!! I do not want to Dough. You should responsible as a Home Depot staff. I did not buy the refrigerator from Dough!!! It is funny that the Home Depot staffs still do not know they should take care of customers as their company not as their own identity.

Everyone is always helpful and I wish I had asked the names of the two who assisted me today. I need to cut some glass for an art piece I’m doing and they gave me a couple of options and some technique pointers.Another great day at HD

Great customer service, friendly and fast. Its very clean and you have to wear a mask to keep everyone safe. The prices are good and they have tons of choices.

I remember when you could go to HD and there were informed employees who could answer any questions, or would seek out an answer. I went in for 3 pieces of redwood and it took over 45 minutes. I eventually just bought what I hope will work. One kid told me they cant cut redwood because of the chemicals they put in it to make it red. This makes me rethink if its safe to visit the Redwood Forest.

Best place to find your Ryobi tools

This is my local Home Depot. The layout is very good compared to some of the others in the area. The staff is pretty good. The guy that leads the plumbing department is especially good but some of the others are not as knowledgeable. This store does run out of some inventory items occasionally and they do not carry PEX-a (upanor) fittings. Sometimes the paint department staff does not acknowledge you when you approach so that is annoying. Over-all it is well kept and managed. 90‰ of the time I have a perfect experience. 10% is not really issues just less than perfect.

The help from sales associates are excellent. The person in charge of custom cutting couple of shelves I needed is just great person, great attitude, very helpful.Thank you Home Depot.

This is close to where I live and a very nice well kept store, as well as the whole shopping center and the staff has always been helpful and friendly.

Monday thru Friday you are on your own. Nobody knows anything about everything. That includes how to page someone who may know something. Shop on the weekends.

I went again today and purchase just a simple item such as a wire brush and WD-40. There was a woman that I approached and asked her where the two items were they happen to be on the two farthest parts of the building. We both laughed she said that if I forgot by the time I got to one of them that you would help me remember where the second one was it was not only a successful trip but it was also enjoyable made so by this woman who helped me Im sure she works at The return desk

Started with Ken on the phone in plumbing who got my item off the shelf and took it to the front service department, still on the phone I then asked for a store mgr so i could discuss the purchase of this electric temporary water heater (long story) now at the front of the store while i was on the phone. Blake came to the phone and the rest is now history, but the response to everything i needed to make this happen was impressive, including the two guys who delivered it to me, and would not let me tip them.

Found a VERY ORANGE light bulb for our 50+ trick o.or treaters this year

Went to get a new blinds but their supply was very low, I guess is easier to order it on line if you know what material you want. There was no line today Sunday to enter but there were two associate at entry and exit to do the head counts. Couple of employee with no mask just a clear sheild on their head.

This place is not and miss, depending on who you get to help you. The one in El Toro is much better with a lot more knowledgeable and staff who as willing to help you.The floor magner, at least u think thats who he was, literally went out of his way to avoid helping us, when confronted, he simply said I am helping another customer and vanquished in the back office. Waited just to see what he does, ..rest assured he was not helping anyone else.Love the home depot, but these experiences makes it unpleasant at times.I am just driving extra 10 min to the El Toro location.

I purchased a brand new Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot store .After 2 days I saw all my fruits and vegetables got frozen .I called the store and the store advised me to contact Samsung .I called Samsung and they scheduled for a technician to come to my house after one week.The technician found out that the main board is defective and he wanted to order a main board and damper for the new fridge that I just bought last week.He said it will take several days for them to receive the parts . I contacted Samsung and requested to exchange my refrigerator but they told me exchange has to be done through Home Depot store since I purchased the refrigerator from Home Depot.All my fruits and vegetables got frozen during one week and all my dairy products were warm on the top. In this hard COVID situation I had to buy food from outside since I could not keep anything in the defective fridgeI went to Home Depot store to solve my issue but unfortunately the manager Jose was so rude to me and instead of solving my issue he even made me more nervous and stressed .I was standing in the store for 2 hours and he did not even talked to Samsung himself to solve the customer issue .He sent a guy over the phone to talk with Samsung and after making me stand there for 2 hours that guy told me they will not exchange the malfunctioning refrigerator.It’s a shame for both Samsung company and Home Depot store to sell a defective refrigerator to a poor customer in this pandemic situation and refuse to exchange the defective refrigerator.I bought this fridge with lots of hope to stay safe during this COVID situation.I wish I had not bought my new fridge from Samsung and Home Depot store .I wish I had chosen another brand and a store like Costco that really cares about customers.People please be aware not to be cheated like me !

We asked 3 different employees where 2 different items were located - we were told Aisle 46 for both items - not the correct information! We went to the customer service booth to ask where the portable clothes racks were located - the one female employee looked at us as if we were asking for a ticket to the moon - not a clue!! - a young Male employee interjected and once again we were told Aisle 46!! - once again, the wrong information!!

Awful customer service. If you can get someones attention, which is a feat in itself, theyre unlikely to help or properly answer your question. Or theyll say theyre on lunch and walk away, which just happened to me after waiting 30 minutes for a saw cut.

They are frequently out of propane.

The selection and prices are generally quite good. The store is huge so sometimes finding what you want is difficult. The real challenge is the very limited staff which means that I have to walk all over to find someone that can help me. However, when I do find someone, most of the time everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable and is very willing to share their experience and wisdom.
