Finally a $10 burger thats worth $10. Prime beef mixed with pork belly for a juicy flavorful burger, the heat from the jalapeno mayo just made it better. Brisket was fairly tasty as well. Got some steaks from the butcher, cant wait to eat USDA Prime New York strips cooked the way I want them cooked.

The food is fresh, fast, and delicious. They have a little bit of everything to choose from including seafood, steaks, and Cajun food. Pork rinds are served free with every meal as well.What really sold me on this place was the service. The staff greeted us when we entered the restaurant and got our drinks immediately. Our waitress was friendly and fast, and the manager continually walked around checking on customers. This is definitely a great place to dine in Lake Charles.

The food and service here are awesome! The burger is the best in Lake Charles, and every steak I’ve had was great. The servers are always friendly and helpful and make sure you glasses stay full. The menu is the best I’ve seen in the 2 years I’ve lived in Lake Charles. The management / owners have never missed stopping by and checking in to see if things are ok.

Amazing. We went yesterday and the daily special was chicken fried chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, and macaroni. It was so delicious and the portion was huge. Service was great!

Wow!! We stopped by for lunch...were leaving as Fans if this place! I had the burger...& oooh, it was SO VERY GOOD!! Its a Huge burger too.. could prob make it into two meals if youre with a friend. The fries were cooked just right! The brisket melts in your mouth..bursting with flavor. Well be dining here as much as possible. Reasonable prices too!! Relaxed decor, pleasant atmosphere.

Out of half of things I wanted to order as appetizers and entrees. Ordered ribeye but 70% of it was fat. Didnt care for their version of twice baked bowl. Wont be going back

Best steaks Ive ever had. Ive worked in fine dining restaurants for 9 years including steakhouses. Been to steakhouses all over... This steak from Prime cooked on my grill is the best steak Ive ever had. It just sucks because Im ruined on steaks anywhere else I go.

We ordered Boudin Balls for an appetizer and were very impressed. The Cabbage Casserole was delicious! The Beef Brisket and Pulled Pork were very tender.

The Prime Special is by far the best Poboy that we love with a side of fries. Sit back and enjoy one of their drink specials or a glass of wine with free seasoned pork skins and meet the locals. The food is amazing, and there is great potential, but the service is very slow. From placing the order to receiving the food, everything was done in a haphazard manner. It took well over 15 minutes just to pay our bill, and we ended up having to walk up and stand at the register to complete the transaction.

Excellent service and nice properly cooked stakes. The aspagus appetizer. Is highly recommended. Even the bread putting was Excellent. The ambiance is great and the menu and a nice wine list from the next door Bodega Pizzaria is available for ordering.

Have had salad with tuna, Prime poboy, pulled pork sandwich and sliced bbq beef sandwich. No disappointments any time! My son worked there this summer and enjoyed it as well. Awesome families running an awesome business!

While the name May imply that everything you get there is going to be prime meat it is in fact not and mostly choice grade meat. Very few things on the menu or actually Prime grade cuts and I believe you have to specify in order to receive meat as such. Having said all of that choice cuts of meat arent uncommon in restaurant applications as a lot of that is really what you get, however I feel that the prices reflect Prime cuts of meat on a lot of items and the business name is also deceiving in that regard. I do find that the food is good and seasoned to perfection. The wait staff is also very courteous and attentive. Simply put I wont go out of my way to eat there and if I had to choose between Saltgrass and it I would most likely lean towards Sawgrass every time. the food is not bad its just forgettable as its not Amazing by any stretch of the imagination from the sandwiches to the steaks its basically just average restaurant food.

Listen to me good. I travel for a living I eat and socialize as a hobby. This place is the best in the country all around not to mention in Louisiana if you have to drive an hour out your way to go itll be well worth it

Custom butcher shop that also sells sandwiches and po boys. They have a copy cat of the Darrels special that was pretty decent. I still prefer the atmosphere of Darrells.

I think that if youre going to have great bbq pork then you can use a mediocre bun. That said this is GREAT bbq pork, with awesome coleslaw and a bun that is not average.

I have purchased tri-tip and ground beef from there so far. The tri-tip was AMAZING, I was hoping it wouldnt be so good since its more expensive than tri-tip I can find at Albertsons. The ground beef was actually the same price as regular grocery store but the flavor it had was significantly better. I would recommend you try their products at least once, even if it has to be for special occasion since they can be more expensive, the quality is truly better and worth the cost in my honest opinion.
