I always have such a wonderful shopping day at my Sephora store. All the beauty advisers are so helpful and they get me in trouble sometimes for buying more than what I come in for... but Im never disappointed!Here are some of my new faves.I love buying them in the mini size, they are great for not only trying out but for traveling as well!

I love shopping for makeup and skincare items here, its better to buy online though since you get free samples and if you spend a certain amount you get options for promotional trial sizes of expensive products.

So I had initially left a salty review, I had a Karen moment, even though I had legit reasons for it, I am starting to see it’s also the company’s who make customers feel so invalidated that they only do something when they complain to the internet, it’s not a healthy situation. I said this on my original review (I erased it) but most of my issues had to do with the company not the store, these are issues Sephora has had for some time, they do have an archaic return policy... especially in these times, but nonetheless my experience today was truly great and maybe the best experience I’ve had in Sephora ever, the store manager reached out to me and we came to a resolution that I felt was more than fair. Kerri (the manager) was so kind and helpful and everyone who was there today helped with everything I needed and offered alternatives to things they didn’t have or offered to order it online. I really would like to get my brows done there sometime soon bc the girl there who does brows was really knowledgeable. I just want to end this with another thing... a big issue from last time was the constantly being asked for help (the biggest deterrent to theft is customer service), while today I was being asked for help frequently it wasn’t to the point where I felt like I was being badgered and it was when I actually needed it, I didn’t feel like I was being treated like I was about to bag a Gucci fragrance is what I’m saying. I’m pretty sure I’m getting Sephora gift cards for my bday so I’ll be back soon. Thanks to Kerri and the rest of the crew there today!!!

Love the selection of brands and products here, although they seem to be sold out of a lot of things often. I went here for the first time since the pandemic started and staff seemed to be way friendlier and willing to help. The customer service is almost a little too overbearing which I know is theft prevention. I think in the 20 minutes I was in the store, 4 employees approached me asking if I needed anything. It’s annoying having to repeat myself that I’m fine and just browsing. I was looking at products on the back wall and an employee came out from the back and came straight to me as if I was being watched beforehand. I appreciated how nice the employees were but being approached over and over doesn’t make shoppers comfortable. I’m a rogue member and have spent a LOT of money here, and I usually know what I want to buy before coming into the store.

Great and friendly staff!! I was trying to maintain the 6ft social distance at the line,but the couple behind me was so close to me, so I kindly ask them if they can back up just a bit, but they got really mad and kept verbal abuse me, so I ask the staff for help, they helped me out with the situation and was very understanding.Thank you guys and everybody who respect the law. I’ve been to so many Sephoras and this one is the worst offender when it comes to harassing customers. I’m so tired of being followed around this store. I have a rouge membership—so I do spend money at Sephora. But I don’t like help, I want to walk around and take my time. You enter this store and have to tell every single employee multiple times “no I’m alright thanks”, “yes, I’m still doing ok”. Then take a glance across the room to see multiple employees just staring at you or straight up following you. I get that it’s a loss prevention tactic and a way to get you to buy without thinking but it’s so annoying. are you really getting paid enough to care that much? Doubt it. If it wasn’t for the testers, i would never walk into a (especially this) Sephora store again.This location also does not carry the high end brands like Roosevelt Field has. A very basic selection here.The actual store itself I’d give 4 stars.The experience is a 1.

WOW. The people who work here are fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure my needs were met. They wear their masks properly and are diligent about cleaning. Do them a favor and wear your mask properly in return! Meaning covering your mouth AND nose. :)

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I totally know zilch about makeup and the staff put me at ease. I felt like I was being consulted and never pressured to purchase. The samples they give will make you trust your decision because you have had a chance to try the product first.

Don’t know if there’s new management or something but the service at this store has seriously worsened over the past year. A lot of the workers are nasty and if you don’t come in with a beat face they look at you like you don’t know what you’re doing or give you an attitude. Also whenever I go I always get followed around by this older Hispanic lady and she constantly asks me if I need help and doesn’t hide the fact that she’s following you, thinking you’re stealing also she helped me check out one day and her service is ass if you don’t like you’re job or working with people you should probably quit

I am an avid customer at the Sephora location at Smithhaven since high school and always have a good time there. The staff in general are very friendly and knowledgeable. Cynthia did a 15 minute facial on me yesterday and was extremely friendly, lovely, and helpful in terms of my skincare inquiries. I had a wonderful time and my skin felt great.

Spent 25 minutes in the store without any acknowledgment from staff. Staff standing together in the corner talking instead of offering assistance while I walked in circles looking for a particular product. When I approached a worker, they seemed annoyed I needed help.

I visited this location on 11/3 and had a makeover by Imani from which I couldnt be happier. She treated me with the utmost respect and care, which is sadly not always common being transgender. She was very thorough and explained all of her steps and what she was using on me as she went. I was there for much longer then the listed 45 minutes that Sephora advertises for a makeover, at no time did I feel like she was rushing to finish up. Will definitely be returning for makeup here for all of my major events. Thank you so much for making me feel as wonderful as you did.

The racist security guard with the crooked beard and attempted man bun style was staring me down as soon as I enter the store like damn . And me being black, I’m offended . He looked at me and made sure I paid for my item and then watched me leave . I know security guards is suppose to look at everyone but y when the first black person come in, u move from your spot & start following them around the store makin sure they pay???? somebody needed FIRE HIMMMM ASAPPP, ridiculous.

I honestly do not recommend this place to do your makeup, I went there for a makeup and really they are not professional at all, you pay so much thinking that they are professionals in terms of excellent makeup and they really are not if you do not want to waste your money, better look for another place I went with a photo of the makeup that I wanted since it was for a special occasion and the person who attended me was not able to do it I had to change it for another you pay a lot for an unprofessional makeup I will never return to this place 👎👎
