Prices are better than another Carpet Depot. Installation is quick and professional. They measure fairly. If you need carpet for a rental and real estate fluff, Carpet Depot is the place. I have also purchased bound carpets for area rugs several times over the last 15 years and have been satisfied. Employees are nice and have worked for the company a long time including the installers.

I had a great experience with Carpet Depot. I purchased 10k worth of carpeting from them. The carpet was special order and I expected to wait for it. The sales experience was excellent. You get what you pay for when it comes to carpeting! The installation was for 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 staircases, 2 landings, and a finished basement. Carpet Depot sent 3 installers. They were clean, professional, and their work was great. I would certainly recommend and use this company again!

Please never use carpet depot. They began to install my carpet with the wrong padding. After I stopped them and let them know, they called the owner of carpet depot named Steve. Steve informed me he could not get my correct padding, and could only install the lower quality one he delivered. On a side note, I originally paid more money for this better padding. He would not even credit me some money back. Steve was going to have the installers leave, after half of my carpet was alredy ripped up and all my furniture moved everywhere. I was basically forced to settle and allow them to install the carpet with the cheaper padding. If not, they were going to cancel the order and leave me without any carpet. If you have the choice, never use them.

Yesterday, I had called to see if they had an area rug in stock and the employee who I talked to was very rude, so I hung up and figured Id try a different location or call back the next day.. I called back this morning to place an order or see if they had a specific area rug in stock, and the SAME worker on the phone was, again, very rude and seemed like he couldnt be bothered with what I wanted. I needed a very basic area rug, black, low to the ground for sand art, and he said that I had to come in and look at the rugs because they have different shades of black and that he couldnt help me. I told him that I wasnt in the area to come in and that I needed just a plain, dark black rug and Id take whatever they had- he still insisted on me coming in. In between what he was telling me, he was snickering and giving me attitude. I ended up calling other Carpet Depot locations, and they didnt have what I wanted in stock, but they were really nice and helped me with what I needed.

Quoted misinformation so bad that eventually another salesman had to try to step in and correct him. Its like he was making stuff up. The place is kind of grungy and looks like it hasnt been updated it cleaned out in 25 years.

Prices are fair and the people working are helpful, I recommend giving them your business.

We went to the Lake Grove store and talked with Joe the sales guy. We made it very clear that we will need the carpet installed prior to a certain date. He said he will call and make sure the carpet is in stock. He assured us it was in stock, so we placed the order. After giving the deposit, we get measured and the next day I receive a call from the Main office telling us it is not in stock and the MFG is giving a date well past our drop dead date. We looked at some reviews and all the negative ones were due to Not In Stock issues. That is why we told him, that we will not purchase unless it is in stock. I would strongly suggest that you go somewhere else.

I purchased a laminated floor from Carpet Depot, I set up the installation schedule and it was done the next day as scheduled. Great service!

Terrible service, we used them for a small carpet job. First they didnt measure one of the rooms, and then showed up with the wrong amount of carpet. When they came back to install the other room they didnt take away the carpet that they promised to take. Prices were high also. I wouldnt recommend them for any flooring job.

Horrible experience. Purchased bed room carpeting on March 25 (paid in full, up front). Was told carpet would be installed within 10 days to 2 weeks. I emptied the room, removed the old carpet, painted the walls and shoved the furniture was all over the house so the carpet installers could do their thing. After 2 1/2weeks, I called the main office and was informed the carpet was back ordered a they needed another week. After that week passed I called again and was told it was still back ordered. After the 4th week I went to the showroom where I purchased the carpet and cancelled it order. Now Ive been waiting over 7 days to get my money back to no avail. I just got off the phone with my credit card company and issued a stop payment/dispute claim against Carpet Depot.I always try to shop local and avoid the big box stores but Carpet Depot is an exception to that rule. I went to Lowes found a similar carpet and 3 days later had it installed NO PROBLEM....

Installed carpets throughout my house in 2015. They left tacks sticking through everything. At the time i was 8 months pregnant and the worker told me to take a hammer and hammer down all the nails myself. To this day my children are still getting deep cuts on their feet because the hammer idea DIDNT work. Pretty sure the guy used the wrong padding and jose was very rude. Never ever buy from this company ESPECIALLY if you have small children. Their feet will get cut up!!!!!! They shouldve refunded me my money or fixed the tack problem. When you call them about it THEY DONT FIX IT. Do not buy your carpets here!!!! I had much better luck at lowes. The room with lowes carpet was done in 2011 and its still thick and soft whereas carpet depots is worn down and thin now almost like commercial rug.

The 599 was a lure in . the guy who measured told me $3000+ . i shopped around to see how this matched up to the competition and this was the most expensive after 5 estimates,,,lastly they would not give me a written quote. now i know why .
