The experience from start to finish at Sundown is one of professionalism, patience and care. It began with a scan of our feet for the proper boot fitting and included explaining the science of how better skis are made. We walked out of Sundown not only fully equipped for the ski season, but also knowing how to put our boots on properly! Richard was both extremely knowledgeable and patient in getting me and my daughter the right boots and skis based on our current skill level. Cant wait for ski season!

My family and I went to sundown on a sunday and we were looking to rent skis for five days. I was told they didn’t have my size boot. So I had to rent skis and boots near the mountain. Anyway, our first day of skiing my son had a private lesson and his instructor informed us that the ski rental he was given is too long. That’s so amazing. So we had to rent him new skis near the mountain and paid twice for ski rentals. They have high school kids working here who really couldn’t care less about their work. I will try my luck at Snow Shed in Port Jeff next time

I went to this store to get a new pair of mittens and the customer service was impeccable. While I was there I said one of my old mittens ripped and they swapped them out because of manufacturing defect. I will be back for more because they took the time out to above and beyond. Not just for a sale.

This place is great bunch of highschool kids that know a lot about snowboarding.

Avoiding this place for tuning your ski or snowboard please, overpriced and ran by 401 retirement club. Asked to come to pick up only to be waited hours so they could get it done while youre in the shop. (during work days!)

Amazing customer service!! I had purchased boots that did not fit and when I went to return them they went above and beyond to find me a new pair that fit perfectly!

Its either grandpa takes hours to handle your credit card or teenager boys power drill your thousand dollars board for a price they cant even pay. but the front desk sales are really nice and knowledgeable.

Bought burton step on X bindings / photon step on boots / burton gortex gloves / burton coat / k2 helmet/ stomp pad.... think that’s all. Not all of it was for me but bindings and boots were. Store has great selection of product for ski and board.. worked with Mike my first visit and a older gentleman with glasses my second visit (forgot name) for a exchange and upgrade in bindings. Everyone was very helpful along with the girls at the counter. Originally bought everything online then decided to support a local businesses and go check them out which I’m glad I did.. only bought my board elsewhere because they didn’t have it.

By far the worst rental experience I’ve ever had in all of my years skiing. The equipment is over 20 years old, the snowboard bindings broke on my 13 year old daughter. When I came and asked to cancel my seasonal rental they told me too bad, I already paid. No store credit, nothing. I will never give these people another dollar of business.

I go here to get my snowboard waxed and I also participate in their bus trips. They are very professional and and always do a good job. They gave me ten dollars off when I switched by binding to my new board and got it waxed. Cant wait for many more bus trips up to Vermont and new York mountains. Always a great time for a good price. Also got my goggles here for the same price they were going for online. Happy boarding!

Seemed very over priced for outdoor furniture....

Service is nice but the price is relatively much higher. Especially for ski maintenance, they just asked me 100 dollar for mounting two bindings! Later I use 3 minutes to install it by myself. This price is unreasonable!

Ive been to many ski shops around Long Island, but my experience here with Jennifer and her staff put them on top of the list. Someone had recommended me to check out this store after having no luck finding the snowboarding gear I was looking for at other stores like Dicks and Sports Authority. I was pleased to find everything I was looking for as there is a pretty good selection. The staff was very friendly and seemed like a fun, tight-knit group. They even gave me some pointers since it would be my first time snowboarding. All in all, a very good experience and I would recommend it to others.

Ive been coming here for more than 20 years. Great selection, very attentive staff. The sales staff is extremely knowledgeable, and they dont make u feel rushed. Just bought 3 complete ski sets and clothing, to update the previous equipment that I bought more than 5 years ago. Highly recommended.

A great selection of dining and seating groups spread out over three floors Under One Roof. There is a style and value for everybody. Remember outdoor living starts earlier than Memorial Day and runs much later than Labor Day. Have the most fun outside that you can.

Good little spot got my wifes board here little expensive but it is Long island so its normal. I do like the people in here. Mom & pop owned from my understanding thats why I came here. Try it out.

Shopped here years ago never had a issue but today was a new day. I was followed around by a worker standing over my shoulder is if I was a criminal. It was the most annoying thing in the world.

Got the ski rentals for a couple years. Ski equipments are a bit worn. The price is not the best. Switch to the one in Port Jeff.
