Mrs. Sue was kind and waved me over when she noticed I was waiting for self checkout. I was buying flowers for my Nanas Birthday today. She rung me up and gently wrapped my bags around the stem of my flowers. Great Associate. Gotta love Publix

I don’t shop anywhere else for food & other essentials. The folks at Publix 1171 are so helpful and courteous. Friendly and happy so, I assume they like their jobs. The Pharmacy Staff is awesome. Very knowledgeable. The Deli is great as well. Produce is always fresh. Meat and Seafood is the best ever. Just like Dairy. The shelves are always stocked with labels facing forward. I highly recommend you check it out, then write a review.

Perscriptions not ready after calling ahead. No one in line or waiting. Wasnt that busy.Appeared a bit unorganized at the time I was there. Person at the register was helpful though.

Very nice publix. Renovations are mostly done. The recording of where products are in the isles have improved the shopping experience. The deli is the best in Lakeland. There is an auto check out section. This publix has a lot of options from curbside pickup and delivery. I will continue to visit this publix and I am excited to see what changes are in store.

I dont like shopping but I like shopping here. Great employees always willing to help. The bagger was blind and was a faster bagger than me. Really made me think about things.

This Publix is constantly out of stock all the time. Especially sale items. Even going to the store on the first day of the sale you will most likely not be able to get a lot of the items on your list if you were expecting to shop the sales. The staff is friendly and its still publix quality, but unless Im going to pickup dinner, I am traveling to the lake miriam publix because it actually has stock.

We got carside pickup and it was excellent.

Was standing waiting to use self checkout. A Publix employee, Johnny, was standing there also. We stood a few minutes. A black lady walked up and Johnny says to her, come on I can get you right here so you dont have to wait. They went to a register and he checked her out. Apparently me being white I could wait.

This local Publix did an amazing job on our pull- apart cupcakes in honor of Veterans Day.I went in the Friday before Veterans Day to order 90 cupcakes for both shifts at my job.The caterers were so nice and very helpful. I would describe the caterers as visionaries being that they brought my idea to life.I was very worries about the red icing. Historically, red icing tastes like Nyquil medicine. Yuck!! But, low and behold the caterer assured me that the red icing had a better, more appeasing taste.My team at work enjoyed the cupcakes.Thanks publix. Your cupcakes went off with out a hitch.

Im impressed by the new store layout and the selections offered by this store. Theres a really interesting cheese plate in the deli, charcuterie type grab and go, and a pick up area for online orders. It is a nice open concept as well. I cant wait for this style to happen at my local store.

Walmart products look and are way fresher for prices they want here. I pay three times as much here for every day items. There lemonade is 4 dollars. I can get it elsewhere for a dollar or dollar fifty at other grocery stores. Wegmans prices in a regular grocery store without wegmans top of the line produce and products. I dont understand why everyone thinks this place is so great. Maybe they never been in a wegmans??

I live in Bartow but drive to the Highland City store 3 to 4 times a week for my grocery shopping. The employees are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I can purchase every item that is on my shopping list there.

Normally shopping here has been great but the last few shopping trips I’ve been here I’ve gotten home to find out the food I’ve bought is expired, and right now they aren’t taking any returns.. so I’m out of money and the product. Please please check your meats before you buy them! This has happened when I’ve gotten pork tenderloins, chicken breasts, besides that it’s happened with bread, yogurt and salad. Super disappointing and when I call or attempt to take it back the older guy at the service desk was rude and said there’s nothing he could do and pointed to the sign.

Tired of spending hundreds of dollars and having to check myself out because they don’t have any staff.

They were out of everything...so little left, I will go back to Publix

Publix is the go-to place to grocery shop in Florida.

My favorite Publix. However, the deli always frustrates me. They are always busy with everything except those at the counter.

I love my Publix but last night was horrible. I been a customer of this store for 10 years and never in my life had a employee sit there and argue with a customer. My meat department is one of the best until this female employee told me NO. I looked at her and was so shocked. I looked at her and said they been doing my meat like this for 30 plus years.. Ten being in this store. She was very rude from the start. Finally, I think she saw a female manager who I never seen before comes over and she listens to the employee and not even a greeting. Manager says she knows her job and thats what she has been trained for.. I understand this store has other store employees from the other store being rebuild but they cant come in and chase the regulars away. Finally my turn to talked with the manager, I got my meat. Employee was not happy and I didnt trust her so I threw the expensive meat away.. Not happy. I thought all Publix employees were trained alike but I guess I was wrong. This neat employee needs to go back and learn customer mannerisms. I cant wait to get our store back where we know everyone.. So sad

There is no need for everyone who is healthy to wear a mask! Stop this practice, you are increasing your employees CO2 levels making them more at risk for upper respiratory infection. You are not decreasing your liability only increasing it!!! The CDC and WHO both label guidelines for wearing masks is for unhealthy people and those caring for the sick or elderly! You are using masks against their labeling and thus increasing the risk for all your shoppers! Stop this maddening and illegitimate practice!
