The website is inaccurate in regards to the hours of operation. I drove down last night to shop, showed up about 6:15 and the lights were out and the doors were locked. The website says they’re open until 8:00 on Friday nights and the door says they close at 5:30. GET IT TOGETHER. Talk about a huge waste of time. Ended up taking my business elsewhere.

This establishment has great marketing strategy. I frequent this establishment for one day sales of items that I use on a regular basis. This establishment marketing strategy always draws my attention. There are times, I only purchase what I am looking for, Then there are times, I invest in other products while I am on property.

Eh... disappointed they dont sell guns/ammo at this location. Looked like they were remodeling the interior as well. Good size store, just didnt have anything I was looking for.

This location has the worst customer service! They make no effort to greet you or help you find things. If an employee is actually working on a task don’t expect them to acknowledge your presence. Those behind the counter won’t be moving. If you can’t found something, assume it doesn’t exist, they won’t be helping you out, if you ask a question, the answer will be something along the lines of “I don’t know”. Careful for all the clutter in the isles.

I took a star simply because their ammo and gun selection is dwindling...but such is life these days. Staff is friendly and courteous. They are a little pricy comparatively - I always check the Amazon and Walmart app prices. Example: hearing protection was 69 there and the same on Amazon (1 day shipping) was 39. All in all a good experience.

They have items for every sport need. The prices are reasonable and the selection is big.

The customer service is amazing! The manager is always attentive to customers, availableto help and ready to help. all he does is help his customers. He isnt busy working on other things in the store. The employees are warm and nice. Customer service is hard to find nowadays especially now during COVID. Everything seems to be self-service leaving it up to the customer to figure things out on their own which is very frustrating and time consuming. Its nice to have that human element here at Big 5, its like a breath of fresh air. The store is very organized and clean and not very big making shopping very easy. Despite the size of the sore they have a lot of variety of whatever youre looking for. We were looking for water fun things like tubing and hiking gear.

I do really appreciate the store and the competitive pricing they have. I feel like it could be a little tidier and look a little better. I have bought from here a few different times it has usually been very helpful. I must say theyre one of the better priced sports stores in Colorado. I would say a better selection a little bit better looking store wood be great. But hey, theyve got to do what they have to do to stay in business!

I Love Big 5...its the only place I will buy shoes. The staff at this location are great. Always get what I am looking for at the BEST price. You will spend $30-40 more for the exact same pair of shoes at the shoe carnival that is next door so dont waste your time and money, just stop at Big 5 first.

The staff here has always been very helpful. And I believe the manager was working this time, she was very helpful when we enter the door and polite and courteous and professional. There was also another woman working and a gentleman in the back they were both very courteous and helpful. Ive come here before looking for good deals on shoes when they have their sidewalk sale and they have pretty good deals compared to other places that I have check prices at. I also made a phone call after visiting the store because I did not see the sidewalk sale going on and that was probably because it was not a weekend. But when I called the person who answered the phone was veryhelpful although they did not have the knowledge of the question that I was asking a very quickly found the manager and had her speak to me over the phone. She was more than helpful and explained all of her answers to my questions clearly and concisely.Big 5 stores in general have been helpful but everytime I have gone to this location they have been very helpful courteous and polite and professional.After answering my questions I plan on going back to the store and making purchases for myself and bringing other people stood in the same deals and selection that this location has. With their deals and the answers from the manager this store has better prices than their competition and that was helpful and a big plus two.

I live in the Belmar neighborhood and I have been ignoring this Big 5 Sporting Goods store for awhile in favor of Dicks. This was a big oversight. Big 5 has an excellent selection of fishing gear, foam rollers and other exercise gear and footwear. This Big 5 store also has much better customer service than Dicks. This store is a gem!

I literally just walked out of this store 30 seconds ago. I waited like 20 minutes and other people that came in after me got helped but no not me. I needed ONE item that I couldnt get myself because they have it behind the counter. I asked for help and they said theyd be with me in a minute. Never got help. Sadly, all my previous visits have been disappointing. This is the last time I come here.

Just went to this store, I was the only customer in there with 4 employees not one of them asked if I needed help with anything even though I was looking in the display cases and they were in front of me and withing 10. Worthless customer service and Im sure one of them had to be the manager. Ive always been welcomed and asked if I needed help in the California stores Ive been in. Wont be shopping in this store.

The prices are fine, this is like a discount sporting goods place offering discount-ish products but all over the board, but not in great quantity, and not really high end. Kind of a confusing splattering of beanie babies, basketball hoops, guns, knives and sneakers...in a small strip mall.
