I just had my 70th birthday so I decided to do a 70’s theme. The shop was great, the owner was so very helpful. So much fun!

This is a wonderful costume shop with a wonderful staff and owner. I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area, they have everything or know where to get it. They’re unfortunately closing for good at some point in the near future (they’ve been in the business for 44 years!) so the owner can retire. Come see it while you can!

This was our first time at the Lakewood costumes store and we were very happy with the experience! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They were great about allowing us to swap out pieces of the costumes. We were Alexander Hamilton and cruella! (the faux fur, gloves, and cigarette were mine but the rest from the shop)

The people here were friendly, funny, and helpful. This is a cool place to get hooked up for whichever event you are attending. They had everything I needed and it was good quality. I was looking good at our western themed murder mystery party.

Really helpful experience! Got advice on everything from tailoring, body paints, highlights, contact lenses, accessories, shoes, boots, wigs, liquid latex prosthetics everything you could imagine. Dori the owner was very nice and happy to guide me through the process. She also gave me contacts that were subject matter experts in different fields connected with costume, theater, ect. The best shop of its kind Ive ever been to. Looking forward to spending Halloween money here!!

Huge selection!!!! Rent or buy. Owner is extremely nice. Seems to enjoy making your experience easy. Most important to me is that its been family owned for 40 years. Super Fun!!!

Very cute shop. Owners are super friendly and so helpful. They helped my son pick out an adorable pair of glasses for his costume and even helped him get some eleastic to help them stay on his little fave

This is the best costume shop in the region! The staff is tremendously helpful and knowledgeable. It has everything from items to purchase to rentals. I rented two flapper style costumes for an event, and they were beautiful, well kept, and had everything we needed. If you need help finding something perfect for your event, this is the place to go!

The shop owner was very helpful and the costume was awesome. My company ended up purchasing the costume from her and she was willing to work with us and our situation. I would definitely suggest them for any costuming needs. Theyre not as big as the shop on 6th Ave was, but they have similar experience.

Such great staff! They will stop everything to make sure you look perfect! Ive rented from places all around before, you get use to the musty smell of costumes... Not here! Smelled so clean and looked great!

I wish Id found this shop sooner! They have a wide selection of high quality costumes, theatrical make-up and props. The staff, especially Erin, are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. What they dont have in stock they will gladly order for you. I was also able to identify resources that I would not have found without their expert advice. This shops focus is on high quality products, but most especially they care about providing excellent customer service. I will definitely be going back.

Cool little store. I lived in Lakewood my entire childhood and didn’t know it was here!I was in need of a masquerade mask, and they had an entire wall to choose from. Very reasonable prices!

Cheryl was so helpful and kind. She even sent me a pic of the mask I wanted so I didn’t have to drive there for no reason. Definitely recommend this place, if she’s working.

I have never had any customer service like this one! This shop is amazing!!! I order some face paint online a week ago, but I have never received anything and the Halloween is right by the corner, I called and asked what happened, they admitted something went wrong immediately( some companies just make stuff up and never be responsible), and deliver the face paint right at my door on the same day I called ( I live 2 hours away from Lakewood) I mean making mistake is normal, everyone make mistakes, but what you do to correct and redeem yourself is important! Because as a customer refunding the money is no longer important to me any more, I need the face paint for the Halloween! They understood how a customer feel then quickly respond and fix the problem. It is a small business but running with heart, thats make difference. Highly recommend this store to everyone!!!!!

Unlike the Halloween costume stores that come and go, this place is open year round and has a lot packed and its small confines. Its worth the drive to Lakewood if you need a costume.

Only went for Mehron face paint, they carried what I needed, they have all types of cool stuff.

Amazing stock of costumes, make up, masks, accessories, wigs, the list goes on. These are not cheap Walmart costumes. Most of the products are of a much higher quality than what you find at a temporary costume shop. They carry mostly Mehron brand stage make up, but the owner is ready and willing to order you what you need. Also, the owners are super knowledgeable about products. Dont order your Ben Nye banana powder online you might be getting a used bottle filled with baby powder!Small local shops help make our communities strong, even if I can get something for my daughters Cosplay online, I am going to come here instead.

The only costume and makeup shop Ill ever use. They have had nearly everything Ive asked for over the years, and the things they didnt have, they were able to find for me and get ASAP. Excellent customer service, friendly staff, high-quality items.

Not to keen on the no-return policy, but thats the policy so try on what you can and REALLY make sure thats what you want! Cause its a done deal after checkout!
