I have had a very positive experience every time I come here. They are helpful and have a good selection of gear. I’ve had to return and exchange a couple of times and it has always gone smooth.

Went to the Lakewood Cycle Gear for some new boots and jacket. Devon was extremely helpful and patient as I tried on various jackets. At 6’6” tall, I have a difficult time finding jackets with enough sleeve length yet not monstrously huge in the body. He hung in there and we found a jacket that would work. Got a few other things while I was there… boots included. The shop has an impressive inventory and I intend to head back there is a few weeks for some helmet shopping. Great experience with Cycle Gear and Devon specifically.

After many visits to this particular Cycle Gear in Lakewood, Im convinced these guys will get myself and whoever else who has a motorcycling need fitted with the right gear and the right parts and will always give you personal experiences in feedback on their parts and items for sale. They will try to sell you on thins but they will also let you know their opinions of said item(s), so that you are better informed of your purchases. So far 100% satisfaction from this customer.

Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable staff, willingness to address a jammed visor on my helmet immediately when I entered the store. As well, patiently awaited my smartphone user error when audio functioning in helmet wasnt working. Theyre great. Competitive pricing.

They were really friendly they made sure I found a good helmet. One of the helmets I liked they didnt have it in my size he offered to mail to me. But I like the blue helmet to. He was very knowledgeable on everything he showed me. I also bough gloves. I would go back

Great selection, helpful staff. The gentleman helping me was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took the time to walk me through a helmet fitting, and discuss security options for my vintage era bike, even when the store was busy.

Sunday is the only day I have available to get things done. Bought a dirt bike, first time and no gear. Did a search around 4pm yesterday, they closed at 6pm. Our sales guy was Dan Salmon, we walked in & was immediately greeted. After we told him our plan, he started taking us the appropriate areas of the store to find the gear we needed. He also gave us recommendations and why. We definitely appreciated that. There were really there that walked in shortly before closing. He quickly went into Juggle mode and made frequent check ins with us while we shopped. Got everything we wanted thanks to help and service Dan provided. I would like to have a Dan at our place

I went down to get a motorcycle helmet and Sean was great. I actually needed a 4XL size and... They HAD a bunch. I picked one out that was perfect and they shipped...FOR FREE... A white one to my house. Sean was super helpful and educated me a lot. I will go back again... Pics are of a black one even though I got a white one.

Great place to go for your bike needs. My husband needed a new motorcycle jacket and we walked in to take a look around. This was our first time visiting. We found a few things he liked and one of the employees checked in with us as we looked around, (I didnt get his name) but he was kind, knowledgeable and friendly in nature when listening to what my husband was looking for. He helped my husband try on a few, gave tips and also recommendations. We went with a jacket my husband had already eyed and armor that the employee recommended to add to it. Definitely recommend this place.

Genuinely friendly staff that really helped me out when I was trying to put some riding gear together. If I were to have a grievance it would be that they did not have a good collection of size 13+ boots for my massive feet. They probably would have been more than happy to order in what I need but I found a pair of size 12 boots that surprisingly fit my giant clown feet so I did not bother asking.Great store and I plan on returning for my future motorcycling needs.

So far this is one of my new favorite places just for the variety and quality of the products they sell. Their a little on the pricy side of the market but the customer service is better then most so it kind of evens out in the end. I just wish they had more sales or customer loyalty events... other then that its a great place to buy your gear.

My buddy went in and bought a jacket and helmet but it was excellent service even gave him a couple ideas on places to go and get his bike fixed if need be

This was my first time here as I needed to get gloves for my MSF course next week, I arrived 30 minutes before they closed and it was busy! I was greeted, they were tied up with other customers from what I heard they were all very knowledgeable and friendly! I hate feeling pressured to buy but If I needed help I’m sure I would have received it. I was ready to check out by the time someone freed up. Fair prices and some good sale items, would have liked to see more variety of jackets. I will definitely be back!

Went into the Lakewood CO store to buy heated clothing. Display mannequin had sale prices for pants: $19.95, gloves: $19.95 and jacket: $44.95. Tried them all on went to pay and the final price was over $500! Bait and switch. They said the tag was missing an extra 1 in front. Zero stars- this won’t let me not add at least one star.

I had a problem with my front tire and I couldnt find the right size at any location on the road. Cycle Gear they had the Tire I needed, recommended a shop to change it for me recommending one of the best shops I could have found and not only that they answered the phone a half-hour before they were open I couldnt give them a better recommendation

Started riding about 2 years ago and Cycle Gear had me covered from the start. I was new to the whole moto thing so I had no clue what size my helmet would be, upon coming in the staff greeted me and asked me if I had any questions or was looking for anything specific, the staff are quite knowledgeable and very helpful even in there busiest times. They have so much amazing gear from top quality helmets to more on the budget yet still safe helmets. So many nice armored jackets, gloves, pants and boots. They also have a wide variety or motorcycle tires and other accessories and mods. I highly recommend coming here for you everyday motorcycle needs. I would love to see one day Cycle Gear having their own motorcycle maintenance shop 🏍

It was a quick visit as i was looking for some new gloves, they have a large selection and many different styles and colors in stock. I was also looking for a helmet but the selection of 1/2 shell helmets was slim. They do have a large selection of full face street and dirt helmets along with many different covertible 3/4 helmets. They also have a large selection of clothing and shoes to look at. I will be back.

Great service and much better prices. One of the salesman took the time to go over helmets and Jackets with my wife and I, almost an hour trying different helmets and explaining the difference, no pressure to buy, very relax environment and every one is really helpful. I will definitely come back and get some more gear from them, I am looking forward to the new store up in the north are since will be closer to home.

Great inventory, super helpful staff! Seth was there to help me the moment I stepped foot inside, and walked me through basically every piece of equipment I had questions about. They carried most of the items I was considering online in store for me to try on, and provided insight on items that would take hours researching to find out. This place had everything you would need fur your bike, your apparel, and protection. The sales guys on the floor were very helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me with what I needed a Im a new sport bike rider. I will be going back there for all of my motorcycle needs.

Very helpful staff!!! I drove 6 hours to go to this store, found exactly what I was wanting (textile pants). They have a great assortment of protective clothing, and like I said, the staff is very helpful, and kind. I will definitely keep shopping from here.

We were here today and had just bought a new motorcycle yesterday. We are very new to the motorcycle community and were unsure of what we needed or how certain things should fit along with which brands and things to buy. Dan and Seth were more than helpful helping us with sizing and and always seemed to pop up exactly when you need them! This store and its staff are amazing and we will definitely be back!

I came in for the first time needing a new helmet. The store was really busy on a Sunday, but somebody helped me right away and picked out the perfect helmet. It is exactly what I was looking for, and it was less than I was expecting to spend. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Big store with decent selection. Staff were somewhat friendly but not very knowledgeable. It seemed like they just wanted to sell me only the expensive helmets or their house brand Bilt. Just wanted to check it out, Ill continue to shop at the other shop down the street (see other review)

I was just in this store to buy some new gear and was completely ignored. When I asked one of the salesmen a question he was unhelpful and seemed like he had better things to do. When I went to check out both sales people just kept walking by me and the original guy made eye contact but started helping somebody else that just walked into the store. I ended up just leaving. I will spend my money elsewhere. To be fair, In the past some have been helpful.

As a new rider, Im in need of a lot of gear guidance. Jeff and Dan at Cycle Gear in Lakewood have been fantastic to work with. Exchanges/returns have been extremely easy and they have given me tons of great advice, not only for gear, but also general riding information as well.

I’ve shopped here for my fourth and final time. The manager here is rude and unpleasant. Other than him the employees are helpful. They have a large selection of helmets/apparel but I also have other shops where I’ll take my business.

They saved my bacon by being open on Sunday. I had a renter return my bike with a warn tire on Sat and a different renter coming on Monday to pick up the bike. Most shops are closed Sun and even Mon, but these guys were open and had the tire in stock that I needed! Got the tire out on and ready to go for the Monday renter!

Your prices are absurd for mounting and balancing. I could have bought another very nice tire for the price of mounting the two I brought in. There is no reason for this whatsoever, as the process is just as easy as car tires, if not easier, which is usually done for free when purchased through the shop. Even tires bought through cycle gear are $25 each to mount. I paid $50 each since I brought them in myself, and then they even nickel and dimed me for valve stems and recycling. What a joke.I will be buying a static balancer in the future and doing it myself

Always great service and usually have what youre looking for. If they dont theyll send it to your house and if you dont like it just bring it back.

I needed a helmet and the staff took their time in helping me decide which one for me and my grandson; so I bought two.

I was leaving on a 2 week bike trip on the next day, but just had a flat rear tire during a prep ride. These guys were open on a sunday and took care of me first thing. They also found a defect bulge in my new tire that had been installed by someone else. Luckily they had a new tire and saved me from a problem 2,000 miles from home. I would highly recommend them!

Really enjoy this place, excellent customer service, fair pricing compared to the internet, pretty good inventory if you are not looking for anything special or specific. Basic needs for service, odds and end accessories, and riding gear. I would say they lack selection for womens dirt gear. Overall reccommend to people though.

Sometimes I just go to browse and pass the time. The staff is always ready to help and very knowledgeable about their products. I usually seek the help of Seth, hes friendly outgoing and tends to go the extra mile to help you figure out whats best for you! If they dont physically have what you need in stock they can get it sent up from the CO Springs location.

Honest about what is carried and what is not in stocks. Thats a rarity in this industry and thats one if the several reasons why I keep going back
