One of the best places in Lakewood to visit. The owner is awesome and very accommodating. The store itself has a wide variety of things to choose from. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

No other shop quite like this place in Cle. Emma is definitely a big piece of the Cleveland music scenes heart and soul. She works so hard and this place shows that!

If you like punk/metal/hardcore and a walk on the weird side, there is no safer haven than The Black Market. Not only have I purchased records, t-shirts, and taxidermy at The Black Market, I found a unique sense of community and friendship there that frankly Ive never found anywhere else. I moved to Cleveland for a brief stint in an internship there during the summer of 2016. I started taking Heavy Sage Yoga classes at the Black Market, and the rest is history. Every time I now visit or pass through Cleveland I have to stop in at the Black Market to get unique, socially conscious gifts for my friends and family (or even me). I have several pieces of beautiful taxidermy that now adorns my home purchased at The Black Market. Ive also been able to beef up my record and t-shirt collections on the cheap.

My favorite shop for all things spooky!If youre looking for real good taxidermy, great bands, and clothing this is your place. Yoga is done by wonderful ladies, and they also sell local art! 10/10.

One of the best local shops in the Cleveland area, if not THE best. A truly original shop unlike any, with items you won’t find in any other brick and mortar store. Would highly recommend to fans of metal, horror, oddities, spiritualism or just love seeing a shop that exposes you to new products and experiences. The Black Market is a place in a dream. The art is made from lake glass and animals, the music is underground metal and noise, and the events are what you didnt know you wanted all along. Wake up from your yoga and see the taxidermy animals come alive. The owner is hardworking, visionary and kind. No better place to drop your dollars.

Definitely has an original vibe to it. They have interesting stuff in there. Be fascinated or be disturbed! Thats what I liked about it! Id go back just to see what new weird stuff they have.

Super happy to see this store now in Lakewood! I love the Krumps photos at Christmas theyve done the past few years and all the hard to find band tees.

Filled with awesome stuff, picked up some weird old zines earlier today. Great visit for locals and tourists interested in the uncanny.

Love this place! I have a mounted moth, some sea urchin spine earrings, and a vintage psych ward restraint from here. I also attend the wonderful punk yoga classes from time to time. Prices are more than fair.

Best brothel in the city. All girls are clean and well groomed. Took my son here for his 16th birthday, had a great time. Will return soon.

The first time I visited the shop it was awhile ago. It was ok. This time I see a couple of books with Hitler on the cover. I cant knowingly support a shop that sells anything with him. I know theyre not in the business of being PC,but there are plenty of alt people of color that wouldnt appreciate that at all.

Being a metalhead its refreshing to walk in here and look through their merch without the generic pop/rock feel that every other place has. Very reasonable prices, interesting store and staff is friendly & knows their stuff!

Cool spot

I visited the boutique for Emmas annual clothing swap, which followed her annual craft supply swap. Although Im not her target customer, I felt totally welcome and was intrigued by her ample selection of oddities like bat bones and alligator teeth. 👍👍
