I called this company and they arranged someone to come the next day. Reuben came to my house after much frustration with trying to light what I was sure was a defective brand new water heater. After trying to light it for two weeks, and talking back-and-forth with the manufacturer, he not only discovered it wasnt defective but actually showed me what I was doing wrong in trying to ignite the propane. He did way more for me than diagnose the problem and went out of his way to give me hot water. If I need a plumber, this is the company I will call upon. Much thanks.

I contacted this company for preventative maintenance of my HVAC system. Monique greated me and helped me get my recurring services in place. She provided me with a reasonable rate and got me scheduled for the soonest opening. She got it all confirmed, sent me receipts right away and sent me reminders of my upcoming services. Then I had their technician, Leo, come to my home yesterday for basic maintenance/cleaning of my HVAC system. Man what a great guy; very helpful, polite and dedicated to his craft. I had made an appointment on a Monday for the following Wednesday 8-12 time frame waited 4 hrsOnly to have a no call no show situation,don’t bother with these guys !!!

I contacted them for some basic repairs. Gilbert arrived and I told him I might have a leak in my AC. He looked at it, laughed and said “you probably do” then walked out of the house. Prior to booking the appt, the dispatcher informed me that Gilbert recently realized the value of customer service and has started to treat his customer well. I took a day off work for Gilbert to repair or replace my toilet. He did not show up. He did not inform me he couldn’t make it. When I called Econo, they said he was on an emergency call in the valley and wouldn’t be available all day. That was a weird excuse to use, but I guess that was the best she could make up at the time.

After checking reviews on multiple A/C and heating companies, I chose to go with Econo West due to positive reviews and military discount. My A/C was not working and it was found that my circuit board needed to be replaced. After receiving quote from Econo, I called multiple other A/C companies and got similar or higher quotes. They completed the work in a few hours and then have me a military discount of 10%. The work was impeccable and the Technicians were very polite.. The big reason for the 5 star review is a few weeks later the weather got really cold and I tried turning my Heater on and it wouldnt ignite. They certified my A/C system but did not check my heating system. I called and was told that they dont normally check another system when doing repairs but they agreed that sometimes a electrical issue could cause issues with the heating system. Econo West sent out 2 techs within a few days and replaced a part and labor for free and really didnt have too! Complete separate issue but still did not charge us due to the hassle. I had another heating company come check the issue before Econo came and they said it was the same part. They are honest and fair with pricing but best of all they do the RIGHT thing.

I had another company come out and look at it and they said it will be 3 days for part to come in . 3 weeks later no part and no response from HVAC co . I called ECONO WEST Inc. they came out same day with the part and fixed my cooling unit. Way to go ECONO West your my HVAC co. from now on.Larry Butcher

Their dispatch phone customer service, very rude and threatened me. I called company to advise concern about their employee- no response.So, I called THEM for service and Angel and another service man who came out to my home for initial inspection were very professional. After inspection, I advised would forward information to see if property manager would use there service to finish work. The next day I got a call from a female (with a high pith voice - who would not disclose her name) and wanted to know if I would give personal info about property to complete order. I advised, No, and that we would not be going with company (she never even asked if I was going to use service, but told me we were). This female dispatcher then- changed up - She demanded owner information and when I advised I would not be giving her anything- she advised she had ways of finding out information and could get anyway and hung up.I CALLED this company for assistance and in the end I received rude, demanding, and threatening service. I will NEVER use or RECOMMEND!!!This company needs to understand that when service is not wanted they need to take the humble route and not threat customers.

My air conditioner stopped working a day before I was having floors installed, great! I called that morning and they had a wonderful tech “Dan” come out by noon. He was outstanding! Knew right away what was wrong with it and even had the replacement part on the truck. Since I had duel units, I had him check the other one too. Of course it was going bad. He fixed and cleaned them both in no time flat! We even got their 2 year maintenance package too. Great service and great prices! I will alway use them for any air conditioning/ heating issues. Thank you so much for a job well done!

I was extremely happy of how quickly they technician came to my house to service my system. They essentially looked at both of my units (upstairs and downstairs have their own unit) and looked at the wiring and connections. They tightened the connections and explained how they were loose and could cause higher energy consumption. Besides that they provided me a filter for one of my vents and then checked the voltage and temperature of one of the vents downstairs and upstairs. I did feel that they should have checked the ducts and the furnace, although clearly I shouldn’t be using the heater in the summer in the desert, nonetheless, I did pay for the 2nd visit before the winter and assume they will check it at that time. Overall, they were fast and assured me that the system was running well. I was being quoted $185 just for the technician to come to my house from Affordable Air vs. the $65 that Econo would have charged me if they didn’t service my system. Each unit was $100 to service, but went down to $75 per unit with the 2 services I ended up getting that would have them come out to check the furnace before the winter. Dan was very knowledgeable and gave me the answers to all my questions!

I cant speak highly enough of this company. They have always been polite, honest, a pure delight to work with. They wont over charge you or tell you that you need to replace something unless you really need to. (The prior business I used didnt know what they were doing and were trying to sell me a new air-conditioner when mine should have been under warranty from them!)

I called due to my AC not having any power. They sent someone out within 30min. Guillermo and Richard came to my house and knocked out the issue in no time. They worked fast, where very professional, courteous, and friendly. Im very glad I came across their services on google. I will definitely be calling them for any future issues I have and I highly recommend them.

They came and installed a thermostat which did not work, they were supposed to come on Friday, the never showed up, we called the person who answered said they forgot to come out, and wont be able to come back for 7 days, meanwhile its 108 degrees, with no ac

My wife and I manage a commercial building in town;One of the A/C units was not turning on, Leon came over and diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes. The unit was still under warranty so the part that had gone bad was covered by the warranty and they also waived the service call for us. This is a great company, we highly recommend them.

I called Econo this afternoon to check maintenance on my AC Unit and the lady was really nice she told me they would send someone out in between 12-2pm and Dan and another gentleman (I forgot his name) showed up right away! My experience with the plumber as well as the HVAC guy or very positive. Both were friendly, answered my questions and were expedients. I would have them both back at my house to look at my Plumbing as well as my air conditioner. I liked your company so well that I signed a maintenance contract with you to keep my furnace and air conditioning running. I was extremely pleased with the service.

By far the best! Our heater went out and they had the part and heater fixed in 2 days. It was not an easy part to get but Mr. Kerr found it. Got new heater & a/c today. Angel and his crew were awesome! They explained what went wrong with my old appliances and put in new, modern ones. Included everything. Gave me hands on direction with the new thermostat. New intake vents. The price was so much less than expected and they were so considerate of animals in the house. I have another job for them and am recommending Econo West to anyone needing heating/air condition work.

I called because our AC went down. Richard showed up the first appt, He was pleasant, professional, on time explained everything. He had to climb in the attic to get to the Ac unit and came out with an answer.. fix the Ac and thermostat. Unfortunately it was the weekend, so we had to wait for monday to come. Donald was prompt and showed up Monday morning he fixed the Ac and thermostat. He was knowledgeable and professional.. Richard then showed up the evening per my request to check into the outside unit to replace the freon. The AC worked beautifully !! Kept the home cool thru the night. Called Econo West Heating & Repair to repair a drain line leak under the house that was caused by a rat that had chewed through the PVC. Dan was awesome! My superman. The guys installed venting and a state of the art energy efficient heating and cooling unit in my 1950s fixer upper and its been like entering the 21st century, yet my utility bills are the same as having an evaporated cooler and cheaper than having the old wall heater. The owner has even come to my home on a Saturday to ensure my unit was running properly. Not only did they get the job done fast and efficient, they are ready to respond to any questions or concerns Ive had since completing the job. They also referred me to a window installation company that did an amazing job in putting in new windows, as well as having an helping with an excellent electrician who installed for a new electrical box/unit that I could ever imagine. I could light up the whole block with this thing. Im very pleased with the service of Econo West and am recommending them to all my neighbors and anyone in need of service. Thanks guys! Econo West provides the most thorough maintenance on your heating and AC equipment. They provide you with a good explanation of all that they have performed on your equipment. The 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that I have yet to have them arrive within the allotted time frame (e.g. 8am to 12 noon} I always get a call after noon advising me that they are running late and they will be there shortly. My whole morning has been wasted waiting for their scheduled appointment.

I had an appointment for a quote on getting a swamp cooler put in on Monday. They cancelled that appointment and rescheduled for the next day due to a truck malfunction. When the person showed up, I started asking about prices and what would work best for my home. The person continually said he didn’t know a price and said he would get back to me that evening or the next day at the latest after he asked his boss. I never received a phone call back. Customer service was horrible and who did they send me? If my reason for calling was to get a free quote on a swamp cooler and installation, why send me someone who has no idea what something costs then not return my call? Extremely disappointed with this business. If there were negative stars, I would give them, but they won’t let you post without at least giving 1 star.

My heater went out on a cold day! I called Econo West at 8am and the technician, Geoff Gutierrez was here and had my heater up and running before noon! Geoff was very nice, professional and came prepared. He had called me before leaving his office (my residence is 45 minutes away) to obtain more information about the problem and what type of unit I had so that he could come prepared. Indeed he did. He had the exact part needed. I was very impressed with his knowledge, workmanship, being prepared, and overall professionalism. Thank you Geoff and Econo West!

Unfortunately I didn’t get to see how they are at actually doing work. I was called by a technician to discuss the issue I’m having and he agreed to come out and take a look and not charge me if he didn’t find anything. They ended up scheduling me with a different technician and then told me they could not honor the agreement. Sorry, but that’s not what I wasted my time this morning waiting for.

Maintenance of both my furnace and A/C had been deferred for years, and I was not looking forward what would be entailed in getting them back in good shape. But, Econo Wests communication and follow through as promised was extraordinarily good. The experience was positive in all aspects. (I rarely write reviews, but these guys definitely earned a good one.)

I had an appointment scheduled for someone to come out between the hours of 12-4 for my swamp cooler on Saturday July 7. Nobody showed up, nobody called. I called the office got the answering service and they were zero help, told me to call back Monday after 8a.m. Wow... I have no words except for thank you for wasting my time.

I was having my air conditioning and heater replaced by my home warranty insurance company. The home warranty company, choose the company to do the replacement of the package AC/Heating unit. On the day of the install I had a few questions about the install requirements of the unit. I called Econ West AC/Heating, hoping they might be willing to answer my questions even though they had nothing to do with the sale or installation. I spoke to Dave the service manager, he took the time to answer all of my questions, and gave me a lot of information about state and county requirements, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. WOW! Absolutely outstanding customer service from initial contact with the office right through the entire scope of the project. We had a very old heat pump system that was badly in need of complete replacement. Cannot say enough good things about working with Ethan. He explained the entire process, understood and worked with us very closely on every step, he and his crew showed up on time each day and worked...I mean WORKED...on the removal and installation of a very complicated system. The project came through on time and way within budget and the system is working perfectly. With the weather heating up and our AC unit having been broken by our dogs I called Econo West to have them come out and repair the unit. The office staff that handled my call were polite and professional and they were able to have a technician come to the house very quickly. Jeremy came out and looked at our equipment and told me he could fix our system but explained that it was very old and inefficient. He also informed me that replacement equipment would be much more efficient and less costly to operate. He was not pushy, just informative. We decided to have Econo West install a new system. We couldnt be more pleased. The crew they sent we extremely professional, they treated our home as theirs, protected our carpets and left the house more clean than when they arrived. With any heating, cooling, or plumbing problems that I have I call Econo West as I have done for more than 20 years. Theyre professional and value for money. Ive discovered over the years that especially where water is concerned a do it yourself job can cost more than paying a reputable plumber. My house is 28 years old and Ive called them out twice this year. I trust them and dont even bother to get a second opinion or estimate.

The Econo West team worked at my house this past year installing a new high efficient HVAC system. The team was always professional and most of all, committed that the job was done to my satisfaction. My June 2017 electric bill was $90 less than my June 2016 bill and the outside temperature for June 2017 was a lot hotter than June 2016.Happy customer!

These guys are always the best. For 20 years we have been using Econo West for all our heating and AC needs. Their team of service techs are very professional and friendly to work with.Our AC died when the temperature was over 110. Econo West came out at the time they said they would and evaluated our system. We were given several options and decided a new unit was the best way to go. They came back with four additional techs and replaced the complete unit in a couple of hours!

I had a service call with Econo West Inc. on my heater, and Geoff came next day to do the service, right on schedule, but that’s only one small part of their business that I want to talk about.He (Geoff) was professional, knows exactly what he was doing, he is friendly, polite and honest with the pricing too. My first service was done about 12 months ago, unfortunately the part that he installed broke down (as all mechanical parts do). I was lazy and owe him a good review from last service, but this time I can’t wait.Again, Geoff show up on time, inspect the problem, order the replacement part (this time a different brand – this means he pays attention to small detail). He came back a couple days later and completed the work, then charge me nothing, I mean zero! He said it’s still under warranty, so there’s no charge, not even the labor, did I hear it wrong or am I dreaming? And the best thing is, I found out Econo West also service AC and plumbing as well (we have at least 6 others jobs from other ‘guys’ in the past, and all were not happy at all).We’ve been living in Palmdale since 1989, knowing stuff around the house are aging, but we know we’ve found the best service people in AV that we can trust. Called at 8:00 p.m. on 7/23 to get emergency A/C service. Spoke with answering service who could not answer basic appointment questions. Accepted $150 fee and was told tech will call within 45 minutes for arrival time. Never called or showed. Will give business to any other company now.

They were very nice....but they not only conned me about the insulation but they only did 2 ducts not 7 that I was quoted for by Econo West for the same price. Moral of my long sad story!!! Dont shop around! Just go straight to the most honest, reliable, helpful, straight shooting ....did I say Honest!!! company in the businesses. I have not spent a dime and Dave showed how to deal with unlicensed contractors. This company will forever from now on be who I call for EXPERT SERVICE !!! I have been having my HVAC serviced by Econo for the past 3 years and I have to admit I can honestly trust their work. Staff is always pleasent and very informative and friendly. They helped me get an affordable price for a new installation of a A/C system. everything was organized and kept me in track with the same technician, the technician always gave me affordable prices as well as fast service.

We had our a.c. unit go out. Next day service. Technicians came out, found the problem and our air was back on within the hour. No pressure to buy a maintenance package. We inquired about other services and got honest answers. I appreciate the no b.s. straight forward attention.

Justin arrived when he said he would and got right to work. My air conditioner was not cooling. He found that it needed freon which he added and then cleaned the inside of the unit with a hose. I was very pleased with the service.

I called econo west about 2 weeks ago because my heater would not start. it has been dropping temperature at night so i needed it fixed as soon as possible especially having a baby in the home. i had a tech come to my property the same day and fix it for me. everything is working great, and the prices were great. thanks again.
