They should not call themselves an antique shop they dont really have anything that is considered old. The coffee tables were really neat. But my husband and I didnt appreciate the sign on the doors saying masks are optional for now. This is why small businesses are not doing well. You have some that are left some that are right some that are just demanding that you still wear a mask like theyre the governor

Space has always been one of my ‘go to’ stores for fantastic mid century items and now they opened their new LARGER location on Walnut St. IT IS FANTASTIC!! The owner, Jesse, is a really great guy. If you need a mid century fix, stop in its ‘Groovy Baby!’

Best antique store Ive been too. Thi gs are more curated here with a mid-century to 70s feel. Furniture is so cool, and priced quite well. Lots of cool items to find that I dont normally find at the regular antique store, and thankully NO inappropriate antiquated items. I got a record, picture, and earrings. The guys ringing us out were also nice and engaging. Definitely will be back again.

This place is one of a kind. With vintage items from the 60s, the 70s, and the 80’s any baby boomer in Gen X’er will feel right at home. They have clothing, furniture, novelties, glassware, chachke, and even local goods. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is a showcase, and curated wonderfully. Do not leave Lancaster without stopping here. You will be glad you did.

You simply won’t find a better vintage/mid mod store anywhere. Even if their prices weren’t the best (which they are), you will not find a better collection of quality mid mod pieces. And the friendly owners are the cherry on top. Their passion for what they do is evident. It’s not surprising that they are crushing it.

I adore this place. There are tons of unique items, the prices are reasonable, and the store itself is well laid out and locally owned. Space is BY FAR the best place in Lancaster and the surrounding counties to find incredible deals on amazing mid-century furniture and accessories. The fact that Jesse is such a welcoming and gracious shop owner only sweetens the deal. I keep coming back to see what amazing new things hes found each week. Forget the inflated prices and cold indifference of the Adamstown antique malls and come to SPACE for the warm hospitality and unbelievable deals.

My son took me here while I was on my vacation to Lancaster. Very nice store with lots a very cool retro vintage items. I loved it!

Great space, absolutely awesome stuff, and wonderful people staffing. My grandson was welcomed and even joined to play on the Nintendo set there instead of being asked to be quiet and still. Forever endeared me to them!!

I didnt take anything home with me, but I found the prices fair when compared to other similar places in the area. I look forward to coming back to see what I may find.

I love this shop!! The owner has a great eye and they always have something new! From household items to large pieces of furniture and everything in between. They have a great classic video game selection and there’s even a tv setup so you can play! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth checking out on a regular basis.

Discovering Space is literally one my personal highlights of this decade. Im not exaggerating. As someone with a passion for midcentury design, and a house full of furniture and decorations to prove it, Space is the best shop I have ever been in. The combo of the owners discerning eye curating the selection of mid-mod items in the shop along with their focus on keeping prices reasonable is unmatched. I feel like they care not only about stocking the best quality and having a successful business — but they also really want average people to be able to afford to buy things there. Thats pretty unusual these days. The only thing I have to complain about is that I live in Connecticut and can only get to Space a couple times a year. Or maybe thats a good thing, otherwise I would probably spend my entire income there.

Im a local and I adore this spot. Its my go-to when I need something new for my house (furniture, decoration, what-have-you) or gift.Ive been a Space customer since they opened at their old location on Queen St. Off the top of my head, some items in my house Ive bought there include:- Gorgeous mcm round coffee table (round is hard to find!)- Wall clock- at least 3 pillows- Cocktail sets (they find BEAUTIFUL ones, I give them as wedding gifts)- Patio chair- At least half a dozen pieces of art- Candlesticks- Soap dispenser- Magazine holder- 2 lamps- Christmas decorations (esp. mcm balls for the tree)I also get my nephew a gift card for Space for his birthday every year. He loves coming in to chat with Jesse and shop his latest vintage video games.But Ive saved the best for last. The prices are just unbelievable. When you go to other mcm-themed stores, they are going to be 3x more expensive than Space. My friends in NYC are very jealous ;) and we go to Space whenever they come to visit.
