Was previously given a gift that was purchased from this shop. So I figured I would check the shop out when I was in the area. Beyond happy that I did!! Got to the store 5 minutes before closing. The owner stayed open and was amazingly helpful. I cannot wait to continuously stop back into this shop more often.
I am a local to Lancaster/lover of antique shopping. I walked into this store recently. The man, who I assume is the owner, was scolding the women working there with him. As he ate his lunch at the front desk, he rudely ridiculed her about a box being thrown away repetidly to embarrass her. He did not try to be quit about this, as I heard him yelling from the back of the store. He then continued to tell her how to move a table, when he could have easily helped her with this but was horribly busy eating his lunch. I’m not sure what the outside work relationship of the him and this women is, but I found it horribly rude and unprofessional. I wanted to ask the women why she allowed him to speak to her in this way. I won’t be going back, tough guy.-Concerned Citizen
Permanently closed, now a pickle shop
