Great experience! I knew what I wanted and my sales rep, Jake, found EXACTLY that. I told him what I could afford and put down and him and Nina got me a deal that I couldn’t pass up. Not too much back and forth and didn’t try to put me in a different car. We noticed a couple things on the car that needed to be replaced before I took it home and they fixed it for me with no hassle. I’m so happy and in love with my new car. Thank you guys!!

As a woman, I am always afraid of being taken advantage of when doing auto repairs, but they both assured me this would not be my experience. I knew what i was looking for and i was glad this dealer didnt try to talk me out of it and into another car. They listened to my needs and wants and i found the perfect car for me. They didnt try to sell me stuff and add every extra. They worked with my budget and i was able to take it home the same day with no hassle. Stay were friendly and followed all covid protocols that other dealers didnt. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a chevy or just looking for a car from this dealer. I purchased from out of town and from the moment I spoke with Daniel, he was very responsive and helpful. He sent me photos immediately and if he didnt know the answer, he tracked it down for me. He has even followed up with me after delivering the car to me, to make sure we had everything that we need. 5 star service!
The dealership did not actually start diagnosing my car for 4 days after my appointment date. After that, it took them about a week to get me an actual answer to what was going on with my car. After they gave me the results, they would not perform the requested service that I wanted due to liability reasons and no guarantee that it would fix the problem despite my agreement that I knew that it may not fix the problem. All they would agree to is to replace the engine on the car which was well outside what the vehicle is even worth. The prices quoted to me were well above the cost of a local shop who had quoted me similar work (almost double the cost in comparison).When I came to pick up the vehicle, it was not ready to be picked up despite me calling the day before to confirm it was. Despite it not being ready, it was given to me to take home with a wheel well cover removed, bolts missing from the engine cover and ignition coil, and the air intake to the throttle body disconnected. I didnt know all of this until I was in the car driving away and decided to pop the hood after noticing the bolts inside the car. I brought the car back and asked for it to be put back together before taking it home. When discussing with the tech regarding the diagnosis that didnt make sense (leak down test of 0% on all cylinders, but he is reporting a bad piston ring which would yield a leak down greater than 0%), he stumbled to give a response that didnt address the issue with the diagnosis, and even admitted to being new to the shop and not knowing a lot about the particular model being worked on. I do not have confidence in the dealership performed diagnosis, the service performed, and will not be bringing my vehicle back to AV Chevy in the future. I do appreciate however the ease of communication I had with the service rep, and was always informed as to the progress (or lack thereof) of the diagnosis.
I am terribly disappointed in this dealership. They have lied to me numerous times about certain situations which is on their behalf. Then afterwards, when I try and get some kind of understanding or clarity, Im placed on hold and transfered throughout the departments because no one wants to deal with the confusion and or conflict. I my opinion and my situation, the lack of customer service and support does not exist at this dealership.

Great experience! Jacob was very professional/knowledgeable and made the experience very smooth. Dealer was very clean and felt comfortable with the setup of of tables and the distancing guidelines. Absolutely terrible. My 19 year old daughter is solo travelling across the U.S. (we are located in PA) and broke down in Death Valley. She was able to get the car started after a few tries, but the check engine light was on and she was in the middle of nowhere. She managed to make it to a small, almost non existent town and was able to call me. I was able to research the closest Chevy dealer near this town, which was Antelope Valley. There were no online appointments available, so I called to try to explain the situation. The woman who answered the phone was completely ignorant to the severity of the situation. She just kept saying they dont have walk ins and my daughter will just have to call and see tomorrow morning. I tried to explain that she couldnt drive an hour and a half out of her way today, only to find out they wont take her car. That I would need to find a further Chevy dealer if there wasnt something they could do. She goes, yeah, sorry. I asked to speak to a manager and she said, in an annoyed fashion- well, I can try to page someone. I get she couldnt guarantee an appointment herself, but there was zero effort made to help a mom 2500 miles away from her teen, who could be stranded in 115 degree temps. If you are looking for service, or even a modicum of going above and beyond, look elsewhere. As a side note, this is an Equinox with only 72,000 miles on it and was just completely serviced before the trip by a Chevy dealer near me. You were building a pretty good reputation for a while Chevy.....not anymore.
My experience was like a sitcom episode based on an awful dealership experience in which they failed every step of the way. When I first enquired about a White Chevrolet bolt I started the buying process after negotiating the price and options. While they were running my credit they sold the vehicle without informing me. Next they offered me a silver one for the same price which I did purchase but I was buying the vehicle from out of state so they mailed me the purchase agreement with additional security insurance added on for $300. After a back and forth to get the correct paperwork taking over a week the forms were signed they informed me the down payment they put on the contract was incorrect and Id have to send them an additional $300 which they would refund me later. After I refused and now dealing with a sales manager because my sales person had stopped responding to emails and phone calls they finally arranged the shipping. Then a week delay in shipping and nobody returning my calls including the sales manager I had to send the first salesmen that picked up out to the lot to confirm my vehicle was still there then they reached back out to me. They then scheduled it through a new shipping company and my vehicle arrived and I thought everything was good. The vehicle arrived with no dealer Temporary registration tag which means i cant drive it and no ETA on when ill receive a title to register myself. Ive sent 4 emails and no response, thank god the car itself is in good condition. UPDATE, they responded to my review with a request to contact them so I filled out their contact us form with a link to this review and 2 min later I received an email, text, and phone call saying I see your interested in a new car! not even reading the comment section I filled out

I have 2 experiences with AV Chevy (3 years apart) - shame on me for thinking my experience the second time would be different than the first! My stories are much too long to share in detail but my summary is this: friendly, smooth talking, incompetent (sadly stereotypical) sales persons with extremely lacking customer service skills. Take your business ANYWHERE but here! I took my business all the way to San Diego to find a dealership with a sales manager and personnel that truly cared about me…or at least acted like they did…which is wayyyyyyy more than I can say about Antelope Valley Chevrolet!

Two stars because I loved my sales person Aga and the finance guy was awesome, but feel I got swindled by this place. I bought a used car from them that had a soft top. The soft top had a major tear in it and they told me they were going to completely replace the soft top before I bought it. When they contacted me that it was ready, they said they were able to repair the tear rather than replace the whole soft top. I saw the repair and agreed the it looked really good. The day after I got it home, the repair fell apart and the tear totally reappeared. I called and got connected to the Sales Manager Nina Garcia who acted concerned and said they would definitely take care of it. I just go the run-around from her for the next 4 weeks - dodging phone calls and sporadically responding to emails with no resolution. I emailed the Jack Oh, the GM too - no response. Really disappointed because the same year/make/model/color was available on Carmax in comparable condition at a comparable price, and I thought I would be getting better service by getting it from a dealership. I definitely wish I wouldve gone with Carmax who have a 7 day money back guarantee!

I would’ve given 5 stars but they took forever getting my car finished even when they knew I was there waiting (5-1/2 hours). They said it would take awhile even with an appointment. Then why make an appointment? My car sat in the driveway for 45 minutes before someone even pulled it into the shop and then sat for another hour in the shop before getting worked on.

I dropped off my truck for an oil change and to have them look at the check engine light. They told me it would be done till the next morning which I agreed on. I checked in with Jay, that went great he kept me updated. However he was going to be off the next day. The next day after not getting a call with the results I had to call in to find out that the check engine had not been looked at. I needed my truck to get back to work so I told them I would pick it up and bring it later... well the oil change had not been done either. I kept waiting for a call back to tell me when it would be ready for pick up. It seems like if you don’t call them they won’t keep you updated 🤦🏻♂️

Take it from a car broker, Ive worked with car dealers all over the US and had bad experiences and good.This review would have been a 1 star review but the effort that Francisco the salesman made has impressed me.I had to travel from Reno to LAX and drive to Antelope Valley Chevrolet to pickup my car. After arriving I was told the car is having issues and I was not able to take delivery of the car.I was upset but made the best of it and stayed one night. Francisco offered to take me to a hotel room and also pick me up in the morning.In the morning Francisco text me letting me know the mechanics was working on getting the car ready. Time after time the car kept getting error messages and finally Francisco talked to his manager and convinced him to sell me a car of equal quality but lower miles at a reduced price he also provided better financing at 0% interest for 72 months he also took me to the grocery store. He went above and beyond what was needed and he kept me in the loop every step of the way.I recommend this car dealership to anyone looking for a good deal ask for Francisco he will make every effort to keep you happy.
The sales experience was great. However once my purchase was made 6/29/21 I have yet to receive a call back for an appointment to complete my due bill. Makes me feel like once you buy it you’re on your own.
Purchased a used car with the sales rep Francisco Majano and I think I will be purchasing any other car I get in the future from them. Francisco seemed genuinely invested in getting me the best deal possible. He even noticed a rattle in the ac which none of us noticed and brought it back to the shop to fix it himself before selling the car. The friendly atmosphere at Antelope Valley was not at all what I experienced at the previous dealerships I had dealt with. If you are looking for a car and anxious about making such a big purchase, I absolutely recommend talking to Francisco 10/10
I have a 2013 Chevy Volt and have 137k miles. The service high voltage charging system and check engine light came on.. I had extended coverage from vehicle being in a CARB state like California. I made an appointment which took a week which wasn’t bad compared to the last vehicle purchased across the street was several months.John helped me the evening before my appointment because I had to work at the exact time of said appointment. John explained there was a steep diagnostic fee if not covered under warranty. I understand I have to pay for a professional to work on my vehicle and it needs to get done! The next day I was informed that it was a sensor covered by GM but the part had to be ordered! No problem If it’s covered lol! I got a call a couple hours later saying my car was ready. I thought it was a mistake and called John whom was at lunch. A half hour later John called me back and verified yes it was ready they obtained the part from another dealer! I picked up my car without delay and been driving several weeks without incident. By no means they were perfect but they helped me avoid a costly repair with an accurate diagnostic. Prices keep fluctuating for an oil and filter change. Website gave me a $74.95 price, got charged $183.38. They said it cost that much more for 2 additional quarts. Made appointment for 0830, my car got lined up behind 5 other cars. What’s the point of making an appointment. I’ve been charged a different amount on every visit. I think it’s time for me to start going somewhere else.

We bought a car 2 weeks ago and the salesman was great and helped us get into our car. However, we had a due bill for some items they needed to install and now the service department seems impossible. They continue to give us the run around. Both my wife and I have called several times and we are continually told we will be called back and never do. Seems like once you buy the car they are not really concerned about the service after that. We still have no appointment or any idea when the items we are owed will be installed.
Dropped my car off by 10am only for them to keep my car overnight for a diagnostic because they were too busy which was understandable. The service advisor told me he would contact me by 11am next day with a diagnostic, which wouldve been fine if he or someone would have actually done so with an update. I called the about 12pm only to find out that my car was still pending a diagnostic and the original advisor had left home early, I understand things happen but these people seemed to lack communication skills. The girl who took over for him did not reach out at all to say hey sorry for the inconvenience but so and so left and I will be giving you updates etc. Then she had an attitude because I was upset that she lied and said she would let me know something by 2:15 pm and failed to do so. She wasnt sympathetic with me the customer at all when I came to pick my car up after declining the repair.
Buying my 2021 Silverado was a very good experience. The issues started after, when I had the truck for 2 1/2 weeks and it ended up in the shop for 2 1/2 weeks at that point. When I contacted the salesperson looking for some help, I was told just to bring it to a local Chevy dealer and ultimately good luck. I spent a lot of money on this truck and was thrown to the side like I didnt matter anymore. Now my truck is back in the shop after having it for one week since the last time. Half the time I have owned this truck it has been in the shop. I have spent money driving back and forth to this dealer and what an inconvenience to be driving a rental when the truck cost me a lot. Again, trying to reach out to my salesperson, he has text me back 3 times over 24 hours offering no solution or condolence. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Once you buy the vehicle, you are no-one to them anymore. 1/100 if possible. How about we continue to take care of customers even after we leave the dealership.

So I bought a used Jeep Patriot from Antelope Valley Chevrolet on July 1st 2020. The transaction for the vehicle went pretty smoothly and I really dont have any complaints about that. The vehicle had a few issues so there was a due bill for the repairs. Vehicle needed a major alignment and the driver side mirror was not responding to the controls. I took the vehicle in for the repairs. Hours later I received a phone call stating that the repairs were done and for me to come and pick up my vehicle. The alignment was done however the mirror was not done at all. But yet the paperwork said that the technician completed the task. So I was pretty upset about the fact that I was called to pick up my car and it was not even ready. So they decided just to order me a new mirror. The advisor said that she would call me once the mirror came in. I waited 2 weeks and no phone call. I continued to call and my calls were not returned. So I went into the office to speak with the manager. The mirror was never placed on order. The manager ordered it and it took almost another week. I made a huge complaint online and all I received was a letter stating that they were sorry and a free oil change. After some time I let my anger go. Just recently, this month July of 2021, I had to take my vehicle in to have it looked over. The airbag warning light keep coming on. They had my car for 4 days and I did not hear from them. I had to call three times on the fourth day and I finally got a call back and the person told me that they did look the car over and they know what the problem is. So why couldnt they have called me to begin with? When I went to pick up my car the following day they were very quick to take my payment for the repairs. However it took them 40 minutes to bring my car out. Once I started to wait outside one of the workers asked me if I was waiting for my car. I said I was and she went to go check on it. She said that they are bringing my car out right now. So I waited. A couple minutes later another woman comes up to me asking if Im waiting for my car. I said yes, she went to go check on it. She comes back and tells me that they are bringing it out right now. Its only been about 10 minutes for me waiting Im not mad Im not being impatient. Then one of the advisors finally comes out to me, waiting for 15 minutes now and says that the person has to move a car to get my car out of the parking lot and hes on his way right now with my car. I didnt think much of it and I continue to wait. 35 minutes past and now I was upset. I wasnt upset because I had to wait I was upset because three people at three different times have each told me that my car is on its way out. The advisor went into the parking lot and brought the car out himself. My wife and I would like to buy another vehicle brand new. Antelope Valley Chevrolet will not receive our business because of the way they handle their customers in the service department.

Johnny was GREAT! He was so helpful and kind. He made the experience amazing. I was super excited about my purchase and he matched my energy which helped my anxiety about the purchase.The finance guy I believe his name was Tony? Not 100% sure but he was Asian American, he was extremely rude and condescending. When I turned down the gap insurance per my fathers orders, he seemed to turn into a completely different person.For example, he asked me what I went to school for and when I told him it was for Clinical Exercise Science or heart patients, he looked at me weird and said “mmmm never heard of that”. Then I said it’s for heart patients and he said “are you sure you didn’t go to school for kinesiology” …. As if I wouldn’t know what I spent 4 years in college studying. Then when I corrected him, he was still questioning me about it.When paying he looked at my card as if it were Monopoly money and then when the card went through he made a comment saying “oh it went through” but as if he were very very surprised it did.Not sure if he was doing this because I’m a young African American woman or if he’s just a rude person in general but I would hope that he gets at least spoken too.
Would give 0 stars, bought a truck for around $45,000 a couple weeks ago, 4 days later I took it in because I noticed a noise I could only hear while driving with the window down, never got a call back about the truck after dropping it off on a Monday, went in Friday after borrowing a friends car all week for work to find out they never even diagnosed the problem or drove the truck. Wasnt able to take it on vacation that weekend I had planned, told them Id be back Tuesday and they told me it would be done, its now Tuesday and they still havent even looked at it so now I have to go pick it up because I need it or else I cant work, this is insane and the worst experience Ive ever had, dont even know what to do in this situation I made arrangements for them this entire time and its still not fixed so now I have to drive it with whatever problem it has and hopefully not break it more, even though I bought the warranty its as if theyre refusing to work on it. Also this entire time they never even called me to let me know anything I would only find anything out after calling multiple times or just having to rush down there in person.
I would like to take this time and thank James at AV Chevy for taking care of my issue with the Rally stripes that should of been on my Camaro from the Manufacturer. You all were very professional and I will always keep being a loyal Customer to you guys. Thank you so much and I am very Happy with the Rally stripes. You guys are awesome 👍

Great experience here! We made an appointment for a test drive, drove it and loved it; but wanted to make sure we were making the right decision so we went home to think about it. They didn’t push the vehicle on us or call/text a million times to see if we could get their business. A few days later we came back and purchased!

This is the second car I purchased from AV Chevy in the past two months. The dealership is 85 miles from my house and quite the drive for me to get there, but definitely worth it!!! Everyone there is friendly and easy to deal with, and the prices are amazing!I have already referred a couple people at my work to check out AV Chevy.

Gregory did a great job of explaining the features of the Bolt. Another salesman followed up with me a few days later about the lease. Unfortunately, AV Chevy was not able to compete in price with another dealer. I have purchased 4 vehicles in the last 10 years and only one was from AV Chevy. I really wish they would be more competitive on price so i could purchase locally.

AV Chevy was absolutely a pleasant buying experience. Salesman was great and saw it all thru like a pro; even making sure we knew how to work all the fancy bells and whistles after the deal was done. Customer service can quickly get lost these days, but not at AV Chevy. I highly recommend them!
Sales Rep Alfredo was knowledgeable and understood my needs, he didn’t push to hard and made it comfortable to do business with. The Manager and finance manager were honest in what they presented and knew what I was looking for.

When I arrive, I am always greeted by a person that looks like she knew I was coming and had been waiting for me. I am escorted to where I need to go. Everyone is quick and friendly. And, of course, my car is not only repaired but washed (thank you) when it is returned to me!

Should separate the sales and service for reviews. Sales team was great and really made the process easy. They would get 5 stars! But service, always takes a long time. I have always made appointments but nothing has ever been quicker than 4 hours. That goes for even the normal oil change and tire rotation. 4 hours! I can buy a car easily in that amount of time. Luckily Im moving away, but service needs to work on time management and appointments. Why schedule an appointment if you wont work on it for hours?
Right off the bat Allen said he wouldn’t remember our names upon greeting us… We asked about a car of interest and wanted to test drive it and were honest that we needed time after the test drive to discuss between this car an another. Since it was already getting late in the evening we told him after the drive we’d definitely come back the next day to talk numbers. He said he’d go get the keys and came back and told us “sorry can’t just let you drive it if you don’t want to talk numbers today. But here’s my card.” Completely stunned we said no thank you and left. That’s how you lose customers. Take your money and time to Toyota next door where their customer service is way better and doesn’t seem so painful!

A month ago my wife and I went to AV Chevy as they were offering “great trade in”. The dealership gave a good price but didn’t fit in our budget. Made it clear we appreciated it but we wouldn’t never sign for a price that high again. It wasn’t going to happen. Fast forward to today, we had some money for a down so called Nick(sales guy) to talk about payments. He stated, he remembers us saying we would never sign for that and wouldn’t happen. So what did we want to talk about. I have bought many cars and would of taken a car today(since we had a down payment now) but he wants to be rude. Wouldn’t recommend this place as they don’t respect the customers.
Crooks, the lot of them. I purchased a Bolt EV with an extended warranty because I was told I could cancel the extended warranty before 60 days and I would be refunded. We spent a lot of back and forth trying to get my monthly payment as low as possible. The extended warranty added $40 a month to my payment, which is a lot of money as a full-time college student. Well, it turns out that even if I cancel the warranty, my monthly payment will not go back to what it was before. That should have been made clear. Im cancelling the warranty immediately and am now EXTREMELY unsatisfied with my experiences with AV Chevy, namely James in finance. James, my mother may have upset you by implying you werent trustworthy, but it turns out she was right.

Paid cheaper than I was quoted. Appointments are highly recommended. Went there, dropped off vehicle, they texted me when it we ready and we dropped off 2nd vehicle. Steve is very efficient. And Robert is great too.Steve even noticed that there was a potential problem with my tire (not purchased with them). But let me know it could be an issue.
