This place has an amazing curation of used, but clean furniture. I found a solid wood table and 4 chairs for a fraction of what they would cost new. They dont sell junk and its a great place to find a good deal when furnishing a home.

I am terribly hurt and shocked by the owner of this business. I’ve shopped there for years, spent a lot of money, furnished my daughters apartment etc. I bought a pair of diamond earrings (small) wore them a few times and my ears were irritated. While I was at my jewelers making a purchase I asked if they could test them. They were not real. I contacted her personally (I considered her a friend) to let her know, thought it was an honest mistake and was prepared to accept credit. I went to the store, they had changed their hours because of the pandemic and were closed. I was leaving town and texted her that I could have someone drop them off or I’d bring them in when I returned. I didn’t hear back. When I returned, I brought them in and her husband tested them in front of me and they were not real. He asked if I could leave them there and he’d discuss it with his wife. A month went by, I didn’t hear from them and when I went to see what was going on, she claimed they were not the earrings she sold me. Basically saying I was dishonest and switched the earrings. I left upset, angry and hurt. I didn’t take the earrings nor do I want my money back. She chose to forgo a good customer and (friend?) over $350’s. Consider this before giving them your business.Since I first posted this she told the police I went to her house and threatened her!!! I’ve NEVER been to her house! I’m the one that should go to the police! I was ripped off! I can’t even wrap my head around this. Wow. Just wow

A gem of a place in the beautiful country side of Lancaster County. I recently purchased two large pieces of furniture and feel lucky to have spotted them when I did. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Delivered and set in place as promised. I find myself going back several times a month so as to avoid missing out on something special.

This has a wonderfully broad selection of fine second-hand furniture, mirrors, or paintings. Looks like the may have come from estate sales or moves. Well worth a look-see, if youre near Costco or Lowes - just past PA College of Health Sciences.

Nice looking through the variety of items here, often hoping to find one or more things before looking at other places. Staff is helpful and fine letting you just browse. Recently, I was able to get a really good deal on a dining room table and chairs when the owner decided to cut price in half to enable a faster sale. I was the lucky one!

Emailed ahead of time was told Gary would be there and would look at what I had.Never introduced to Gary, associate refused to look at the sample I had - demanded to view photos on my phone and began arbitrarily swiping through photos obviously without my permission.Email response to me expressing the let down of leaving w out meeting Gary and also any appraisal Diana told me”Gary was standing beside you”No one was standing beside me and I didn’t realize I’d have to introduce myself to everyone on the place just to land on the appraiser. There were literally 7 people busier talking ab high school sports being cancelled and petting dogs rather than consigning furniture.Also none of the employees were wearing masks.

This place is huge. So much of everything for the home. Lots of variety and found a few, really fun and strange items. That is what makes it so much fun to look around. You never know what you may find. Also, a great place to consign.

Weve found some amazing stuff here. The sort of vintage and used furnishings that prompt friends to ask where we found it. From art to rugs, mid century to new old stock, indoor and outdoor they have a little bit of everything. We try to stop at least once a month when up at Costco. Staff is friendly and delivery is very reasonable if youre buying larger pieces or multiple items.

My wife and I stumbled upon this store. It’s rare to find one of these stores that has nice furniture, at a reasonable price. Everything was staged and organized, too. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up leaving with a beautiful cherry sideboard.

Love this second hand furniture store. They sell high quality second hand furniture that often times you can barley tell that it is second hand. My husband and I have purchased about 3 pieces of furniture from here and love every piece. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the prices are fair.

Love this shop I stop in at least three times a month and rarely leave without having found another great deal and treasure. Simply love visiting, their clientel is great.

This is a great place for furniture. They have a large selection and the prices are good. There seems to be a lot of turnover of the used furniture so if they dont have what you are looking for it may pay to wait and come back again later.

I am completely disgusted by the customer service I just received at Next to New. We purchased a piece of furniture last week and specifically asked if it could be picked up the next week prior to paying. We were told no problem, we had 7 days to pick it up. On the morning of the 5th day they called and asked us if we could get it any sooner, we said we thought we could. Unfortunately an unavoidable emergency came up and we told them we couldnt get it until the next day (day 6). We were told that our couch was already outside and there was absolutely no way it could be moved back inside. We said we were sorry, we couldnt possibly get there until after 9 pm that day... and then were told that was fine, our $950 couch could stay outside (at a closed store??) until 9 pm. This was our 3rd major purchase at this store within the last year but it will be our last. Ive never felt more like a pile of money & less like a valued customer.

My son was looking for a specific type on dining table with chairs that was attractive but durable with two small children and found exactly what he needed.

Its ok...they tend to carry more New furniture more so now than they used to and the prices are just that...pricey.Saw your response and disagree...ok I get it your picky about what you take in and I gotta tell ya, so am I. But if Im not mistaken, your sign does say Next to New right? But you carry new? And we were there not long ago and just about every other piece of furniture said new on the tag. And as for your apples to apples comment, sorry to say (but not really) you just lost two customers, myself and my husband and will send the word to family and friends. Oh and my rating just went from a three star to one, congratulations!Everyone is entitled their opinion, not just me. And any particular reason you had to call out my name or are you just this ignorant to your customers and cannot handle criticism?
