They where great. They make the kids feel comfortable. From the receptionist that checked us in, to the doctor, down to the technician that helped us with the glasses. They were all awesome.

They do NOT know how to properly bill insurance. I received a bill from them for a contact lens fitting, something my insurance covers. I called them to try and figure out why I still had a balance. They stated that the insurance did not cover the contact lens fitting. I called my insurance company and was informed that Yealy Eye Care never submitted any charges for a contact lens fitting. I called Yealy Eye Care back and told them this. Their response was that they did submit the charges. I asked them to mail me what they submitted to the insurance company. I received the same invoice as before and a notice that I was liable for charges not covered by my insurance. I went back and forth between my insurer and Yealy Eye Care several times trying to resolve the billing issue. Eventually my insurance had to contact Yealy Eye Care and show them how to properly submit charges so they could be paid. My insurer was then able to pay for the contact lens fitting.I should not have had to invest hours of my time to get Yealy Eye Care to properly bill my insurance. Ive never had to do this in the 13 years Ive been using this insurance, and I will never do business with Yealy Eye Care again. I recommend everyone else save themselves the aggravation of doing business with them also.

My experience with Yealy was great ! The staff are very nice and Glenda is very helpful .. I love the selection of glasses and rose helped me out with picking out glasses that look best on me.. they are great with my daughter that’s 5 and helped distract my daughter while I picked out my glasses.. the staff are very professional and I recommend Yealy to my friends and family for their great customer service and great selection in their glasses.

I am so thrilled over Yealy Eye Care. I have had dry eye for over 8 years and had no idea that there was treatment. I had been steered nowhere by the eye doctors that did my eye exams for glasses and contacts. They would tell me to get over the counter eye drops and ointments and they did not work. I called my insurance and asked to see an Ophthalmologist and Yealy and one other office was given to me to make an appointment with. I called and it took me 3 months out to get an appointment, the other office kept calling me for appts that had been cancelled, but for some reason I decided to wait for Yealy Eye Care of Lancaster and I am so glad I waited for them. I saw Dr Moyer and she was upset that I had contended with dry eye so long and she immediately told me about plugs for my tear ducks and it has helped me so so much! I just saw Dr. Yealy to add a plug to my one eye and I am just so impressed with this office and the whole staff! They are up to cutting edge health for the eyes and so nice and professional! I am so thrilled to have found them! They are wonderful and I highly recommend them for the health of your eyes. Also very clean office!!!! Thank you Dr Yealy and Dr Moyer you guys are a blessing to me!!!!

Today I met Rosa, she called me back and I corrected her about my name pronunciation. After doing so she said “oh it’s all the same” and then kept going on about how my name doesn’t matter and said it a bunch of different ways. She probably thought I was like 18 because she certainly was treating me that way. From one brown person to another, I’m glad you don’t have a difficult name to pronounce, Miss Rosa. And today shows you probably don’t even speak Spanish for that matter, but whatever that’s not my loss. Your name is your identity and it is not to be laughed at, always take the time to ask someone to say it properly. And if they can’t say it correctly then they aren’t deserving of your respect. Rosa must have been having a bad day, and that I pity.

I was very happy with my Yealy Eye Care experience. I completed an online appointment request form, received a return call the next day to schedule, and they had an appointment available the next business day. My appointment was this morning and it was very efficient and everyone in the Queen Street office was VERY friendly and welcoming. Im glad I found them and will return next time I need an exam.

I have taken my son here one time before COVID. My son is an amazing 6 year old that happens to be on the autism spectrum. I was very nervous going to our appointment today as I knew how hard regular eye appointments are for my son. The staff was amazing today! They allowed a second person to come with us to help with my son and were okay with him not wearing a mask. Everything from taking his temperature upon entry, to registering him, the actual appointment and picking his glasses went as smooth as possible. My son does not like being touched with instruments or sitting still and the entire staff worked so well with us. Everyone was understanding! Thank you again to the amazing staff here!

Had the worst experience at this place. Dr told me there was nothing he could do about my vision and i should of done something about this when I was younger. Growing up with colabomas in bolth eyes I have had regular eye check ups all my life and never heard this before. So thinking theres nothing I could do, I was worried. Vision was getting worse and thinking theres nothing that can be done was stressful. So i go to Walmart for eye check and find out I have a cataract that can be fixed with simple surgery.

My appt was very good. The girls in the optical were very helpful. Will highly recommend this practice for all your eye care needs

The Yealy staff has been amazing from scheduling to checking in to the covid safety protocol of taking temps and asking question. The ladies who helped us before the doctors are so friendly and detailed to getting all our medical history, first eye exam that I had someone ask me about the health of my eye instead of just giving me a prescription. These people dont know what they doing. My test was terrible. I bought my own glasses, and when the time came to get my prescription in them they said my glasses were going to be made with a crizal lens, and it was some type of liquid. They even told me to train myself to look clearly with the prescription that was given to me. I also spoke to one Spanish Cuban owner and she said in order to get a better lens I have to pay extra money. I dont recommend them. Dont waste your time. They really dont care!

First time seeing a doctor other than the pediatric ophthalmologist I had all of my life. Dr. Moyer made me feel so at ease and comfortable. They had a lot of protocols in place for COVID as well, which I appreciated.

Everyone is very nice and professional. However the woman that came out and told me about my contacts said they were $240 for the year and I asked her what did my insurance cover? She said my insurance doesn’t cover anything. I told go back and look! 15 mins later my contacts were free because my insurance covered them. Just disturbing how she was so confident I had to pay $240 and my insurance covered nothing. After my mini fortune I spent there. $50 per visit! I won’t be going back!!

Dr Yealy was amazing! I had to switch offices due to insurance. I have never felt so cared about and the doctors and staff were amazing! After 30 yrs of severe dry eyes, I am finally able to wear contacts!! Thank you to Dr Yealy and staff!!!

My son has been coming to yealy for a year now, before then he did see Dr.Yealy, he always had issues with his eyes, and we are finally getting a resolution with his vision. Dr. Moyer goes above and beyond to help my son and get his vision so he can see and get around like a normal kid. The staff treat my son with love, and are so professional.
