When ever I have to go pick up my sons medications. Theres always a line. Never any extra help. Please dont ask for help finding things on the shelf. They will not leave the counters.
CVS doesn’t care if your medication is in stock. Not only do they not keep all medications on hand, they can’t tell you which CVS will have your medication available. Can they order your medication? Because I just heard they’ll have it Wednesday. Always a line here and only one person working the pick up.
I always hesitate coming to this pharmacy. They never have enough staff. Came for a vaccine with an appointment and still wasn’t helped in a timely manner. It doesn’t help they only have 2 people working back there. Why have appointments if they won’t see you in time. Very unprofessional, they need to organize themselves
This store is always clean & well maintained. Employees are helpful & knowledgeable about the contents of store...
Employees are rude and their loss prevention is annoyingly obvious about being suspicious of everyone that walks in there
Really bad service this manager that works here named Jessica so rude at the register … I was couponing at this cvs and she told me to step at side if I’m not going to pay with money…
Made an appointment online for vaccine for 3:15 still waiting in the line an hour later. Why make it an option to schedule an appointment, if the whole city is going to be standing in line. Fix your system
The outside is nasty so dirty, they nee to pressure wash the outside area the plants on the pot are death the place need a lot of attention and cleanliness or new management.
Taking my money where I dont have to wear a mask the store had a filthy bumb infront nasty with trash it stunk but they have the nerve to be concerned about Me wearing a mask as if Im the cause of all the uncleanliness in their store.
Very fast service
Very nice workers...
This place needs a second line for people who just want to buy, like, a thing or two, since the main register seems to be mostly people trying to scam them, and people paying for the next 6 months of groceries in pennies.Nothing against the staff, they seem alright, if generally overwhelmed.
Nice and clean 🙂
Always great service.
Was there at 2am to drop off prescriptions and told to come back at 3:30am. Went back at 9am and only one was ready. The woman never even finished putting my orders in even though I stood there for 10 minutes while she typed away. I had to wait again for the rest of the prescriptions and not so much as an apology from the cashier who lacked any sort of personality or consideration. This is by far the worst pharmacy in the A.V. They need more staff to handle the influx of prescriptions and maybe the extra support would actually put a smile on the employees faces!
This store is always full and slow. Theyll state your medications are there, youll await a long stand in line, and theyll inform you theres one or more medications arent ready. For you to sit, and await another 15mins - 30mins wait. They have extended wait time when calling. Ive waited 30mins. plus & sometimes very unprofessional. If it wasnt for it being 24hr., they may not even be around still.
Over prices by more than 60% of the regular cost from Wal-Mart and they are NOT open 24 hours. Must shut down!
They did there best on trying to get my moms prescription at the pharmacy
Traveling through, so I cant say how this particular CVS compares to others in the town, but remember to pack toiletries on your next trip to Lancaster, as you probably dont want to be here late at night, and neither did at least one of their employees. Cant blame them too much, but we had a less-than-amazing experience.
Love this place, except for the prices
Was going here because theyre closest to my house and open 24 hours. Wont be returning. One prescription came with wrong dosage instructions. Next time I tried for a simple prescription and they had to order it in, was told to come back the next day. I asked them to text to confirm when it was filled and they didnt. Tried calling 4 times, waiting on hold more than 15 minutes each time, no answer at all. Went in person to pick up and they had no record of me even dropping it off until I complained to the pharmacist and then she inexplicably found it AND had it in stock. The CVS on Ave L is way nicer, cleaner, and they dont feed you stories about not having common stuff in stock or dodge customer phone calls and misplace prescriptions.
Pharmacist Hitaji Sanford is perfectly incompetent. The pharmacy fails to properly fill out paper work for medications and then lies to customers claiming the forms are filled out and filed.I waited 62 minutes on hold to be hung up on before getting an answer and then had to call the front of store to get any help. Then I was treated disrespectfully by pharmacy staff Ovanis and Sahar. When I asked for contact information to escalate my concerns I was told there was no way to contact the regional manager and treated to being laughed at after waiting a week without pain medication for a broken pelvis.
24 hours service with a smile.
One pharmacist two pharmacy techs and 25-45 min per drop off. This doesn’t include the 2 hour wait for prescriptions to be filled. I stood in line for 1 hour and 20 min and the line was almost 15 people deep by time I left. This place needs to reevaluate their system their staff and should consider a complete restaffing. This is by far the worse cvs I’ve ever been to.
Open 24 hours a day, easy in and out.
Long wait times to pick up prescriptions. Almost always 15 or more people in line and only one person working drop offs and pickups
They are not open 24 hours or their stuff simply doesn’t like to be open at 7:00 a.m. while they walk around in the store. And no, they did not have their hours listed as being changed for covid. In short, they are already overpriced, this is a sign to go somewhere else.
They have almost everything you need and they are open 24 hours. Very nice employees!
Not using this pharmacy or this CVS anymore. Ive been using this pharmacy for a while now and Im sorry to say that the customer service has declined so much that I plan to start using a different pharmacy. I chose this location because theyre open 24 hours, but the pharmacy staff are incompetent and uncaring, considering that their job involves filling prescriptions that someone could need in order to live. They offer to request refills from your doctor if its a monthly medication, yet of the 2 I get they always seem to have problems with 1 or both, every month. Their newest thing is not answering the phone, at all. I even wondered if they knew my phone number and were not answering calls specifically, but I called from a friends phone and they didnt answer. Over the last week Ive called multiple times a day, waiting for an hour one day, 2 hours the next, a total of 3 hours today. I even called the front desk to ask them to have someone in the pharmacy area answer me- they asked for my name and number and said theyd tell the pharmacy staff to call me back! I never heard of that, and they didnt call me back. One month I was trying to have this same RX filles & I was on the phone with a technician when the fax from my Dr. came through; the guy I was talking to let me know and said to give it 2-3 hours. Later that day I went there and they said there was no RX, that my Dr. never sent it. I told them he did & explained how I knew. They were not happy to have to look through the pile of papers theyd been faxed from the doctors of the patients they fill prescriptions for but they found it, then filled it. Unfortunately, this month is the worst month yet. I know beforehand that Im going to have a problem filling my prescriptions there. Its a constant battle with me calling CVS & my dr. because nobody in the doctors office is willing to call CVS (they say they need a request for the refill sent over) and CVS wont call the doctors office. This month they both sent faxes but no matter how many times my doctor faxes the refill CVS never gets it. And they didnt get the one faxed from a veterinarian for my pet, either. My pet was lucky and was able to have her RX called into Walgreens, which had it filled in 20 minutes. This is week 2 of trying to get this filled. Im out of the meds, the pharmacy staff dont care about that, and dont care enough about the patients they serve or their jobs to even answer the phone! I went online and looked at the BBB to see that they (as a corporation) have 811 complaints in the last 3 years and 314 in the last 12 months with an average customer review of 1 star. The complaints are all similar to or the same as what I just said. Next time I see the doctor Ill be informing him that Im going to use a different pharmacy. If youre there when theyre busy, you could be waiting in line for a long time, especially in the evening when they have one register open for drop off and pick up. If someone has already been to the register and is waiting for their RX, they will call that persons name over the loudspeaker (as well as send a text) to let the person know their prescription is ready. That person will also be taken to the front of the line. If you are that person its great if youre waiting in the line its not as great LOL. They do have a free membership with your phone number and when you use your phone number for any purchases including prescriptions, you get extra bucks which is free money to use at CVS, and coupons that are based on your personal shopping habits at CVS. They also have great sales sometimes, where they will clearance an item and drop it 25%, 50%, even 75%. Overall its a good store for Health and Beauty items and even some candy and small gift items and cards. In terms of other items, such as household goods, human food, pet food, etc., the selection is less varied.
The staff is friendly to couponers the only thing is that they usually run a low stock on the good deals. Everything else is good. The store is clean as well.
Well litand good sercice
Big selection, but yes waiting in line is not fun here. The pharmacy line can be a long wait, and even the front registers can be a little overwhelmed. Staff does its best. They are friendly and do what they can to expedite.
Medication was easy to receive with helpful staff
Bad customer service!! The cashier ARLIN is so rude. Talks with a superiority attitude which if shes so up high why work at a cvs. Ive known people with money and very humble unlike this person. Idk why cvs has her there if shes so rude to customers.
They don’t care about 6ft this place is like the county building
Read the reviews and for the most part complaints are about the pharmacy. To be fair they fill ALL of the AVs after hours clinics and hospitals. Yes, if you are county, HMO or PPO they are filling the Rx.My review isnt really about the pharmacy but more the experience I had with the CVS staff. Friendly and went above to help me gather an array of stuff for a homeless encampment near this location. With that said yes the location is a bit run down but customer service was on point
Took for ever to get help in the liquor section.
If I could give less stars I would. The workers are nice, but I am unsure why no matter what time of day, the lines are absolutely too long. Theyll give you an estimate of 15-20mins. And when you check back in 1hr (giving them an extra 45mins). Theyll say sorry please allow us an additional 15-20 mins to complete your refill.(Blown Away) - but theyll be quick to return youre medication back before sunrise hits that morning. But refills. OH! Youll be there like your waiting to see the MD himself. And 4.00 to deliver when I can get all my prescriptions and delivery covered under my insurance at the pharmacy crown the street. Prescription ready in 10mins sometimes less. Goodbye CVS! Learn to value us, we are what keeps youre business turning✌..
This is the Antelope Valleys Worst pharmacy, they are always out of the medicine you need 24hrs even though they are the nearest 24hr pharmacy near the Emergency Room, their location alone should be a pre-requisite to always be aware of onhand medicine, to make it worse when they do have medicine available it takes them 2 hours to prepare it. This location is heavily understaffed and miss managed for the needs of patients near an emergency room and hospital.
I never really leave reviews to places but the appeal of this place was that it’s 24 hours. The second to last time they kept saying they never got the prescription faxed over to them I thought it was a simple mistake. They didn’t do much to fix it so I called my doctors office and they explained that this is a recurring issue for this place. Now I waked in with a blue sheet from the doctor and they said it’ll be ready in an hour... after 4 HOURS now they said I can’t have my meds because the doctor forgot to sign it. So they didn’t say anything when I turned it in and didn’t say anything the last 4 hours. That only tells me that they weren’t even bothering with getting my prescription ready. So even if you go here because it’s 24 hrs don’t bother they might not have your prescription ready by morning anyways. By then an actual pharmacy will be open
If I could rait 0 stars I would. Ive been standing in line for a pick up for over 45 minutes and there were only 4 people in front of me. Its stupid they have only one cashier who barely do their job. Never using them again. I dont recommend using them unless u want to wait over an hour for a pick up. As I left the line is over 15 people long
How long does a active customer has to wait for someone in the pharmacy to pick up or acknowledge that there is a customer calling in to fill a prescription. I literally waiting on hold for 15minutes
My family and I we passing through on our way to Texas. I threw out my back loading luggage and had to have medication sent from my Army base in WA. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great job, and thank you!!
Pharmacy staff much too brusk and sharp. No feeling of compassion at all. Store was great in the days of Longs Drugs, but those days have passed.
I made two mistakes today. First I fell asleep after a hard day at work, and slept til the other pharmacies in town are closed. And secondly I even bothered to attempt getting medicine from this building. Ive learned my lesson with this place for the final time, from now on, if my only choices are the CVS on J & 10th and the Emergency Room, Im picking the one that is faster and actually results in medicine - the Emergency Room.
This place is horrible at answering calls. Really over 30 minutes and they never answered. This CVS needs to hire more pharmacists to speed up the horrible services.
The worst! I dropped off my prescription and I was told it would only take an hour. I advised that I would wait in the store till it was ready. I went to the pick up window an hour and half later to find out that they didnt have my medication. Apparently it was a computer error. So I asked, how do you have a computer error on a control substances medication? Isnt that the reason its a control substances? Human error she didnt bother to check if my medication was in stock. Poor customer service! Thank you CVSHealth for wasting my time!
Friendly and helpful staff anytime of day.
Underfilled a prescription 3 times in a row. Hung up on me after waiting on hold to discuss this issue and all around just not service youd expect from a company like CVS. Go to Walgreens or an equivalent cause they are not cutting it.
You have phones but you never answer them. What kind of business leaves a customer on hold with not even as much as an hello, please wait. Tell you what CVS headquarters call this store and see the bullcockery for yourself. Horrible horrible horrible. I avoid them like the plague.
I am an extreme couponer and so I deal with the best and worst of staff. The staff here are just superb. Raymond the manager was extremely helpful and curteous and Debra was so kind and funny while she checked me out that it went from being a crappy/embarrassing day to a happy successful one. NOTE TO FELLOW COUPONERS: Read rhe policy, follow the policy, LIVE BY THE POLICY!
They are very very slow they dont check ur meds to see if they have thm till like after they put bunch of bullshit in the computer thm they will say o no we dont have tht here. So rude and look at you like ur just trying to get medication. Whn its the dr tht pets rides it smh making customers feel like there Durga addicts
I wont come back here unless I absolutely have no other choice. I came here around midnight to get prescription Tamiflu and eye drops for my 5-month-old daughter right after taking her from Kaiser urgent care. By that time the Kaiser pharmacy was closed and I was told by the doctor that this CVS had the only 24-hour pharmacy in the AV that accepted Kaiser insurance (and sadly, as I learned later, the only 24-hour pharmacy, period. What can I say though? No one forced me to live out here) . After waiting in line for 10 minutes, with my wife and sick daughter in the car, the pharmacist/employee/whoever person told me they didnt have either of the medications I needed. Really? I didnt think what I was asking for was all that exotic. Not only did they not have it, but the person helping me (and I say helping in the loosest possible sense) couldnt be more apathetic to my situation. If they dont have it, I certainly dont expect them to conjure it, but I would have appreciated a Were sorry sir, we dont have the medications and theres no other 24-hour pharmacy in the Antelope Valley instead of we dont have it followed by a blank stare.
Staff is nice but the location is rundown.
Went there twice. Both times prescription was not filled correctly. They short the count and hope you don’t count the pills.
I was visiting and ran out of my meds and they were able to fill my meds with no problem.
Their computers are always done, and it has been like this for four years. This is the only place in Palmdale and Lancaster with a 24hr pharmacy, sadly, their computers go down FREQUENTLY, and nobody has fixed the problem for 4 years.
No one answers the phone at pharmacy its been two hours and nothing just keep hearing the music...
Wait at the pharmacy is horrible at all hours.
The wait time on the phone is ridiculous!! People, seriously go somewh
They never answer the phone in the pharmacy department, really inconvenient.
Always have problems with these CVS in Lancaster never answer phones in pharmacy and always have problems with prescriptions they say one thing and end up doing the other 👎
I have been on hold for 40 mins to get a prescription filled.
SLOWEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!
Less than one star. Im standing in line right now. There are 9 customers in front of me and only one super slow cashier. Come on CVS, this is your profit center and you are treating your customers like this. Its like this every time I come here.
One pharmacist and another doing God knows what. With a manager that really doesnt care and seems far more depressing than the location this CVS is at.
This is for the pharmacy, Called 3 times was on hold for an hour each time. Staff is rude, and make you wait a long time. Was trying to get medication for my 1 year old who is very sick and was in the hospital, they didnt care at all.
Unfriendly pharmacists. I called around 8am to have a prescription for my insulin transfered from another pharmacy and was told I would be contacted if there were any problems. I called again at 3pm to follow up and no progress had been made and I had not been contacted. I will no longer have my prescriptions filled here.
Attention is very bad and take long at all.
Very dirty. Seriously was gross!!
Pharmacy open 24 hours and they keep you waiting for 15 min no customers was 12 a.m and workers seems like they dont want to work.
The pharmacist wasnt helpful over the phone . Needed anti fungul cream and I wanted to know if they had it there and she transfer me to customer service and then, customer service didnt know either ...
I like it because its open 24 hours a day.
Customer service sucks. Was put on hold for 20 minutes. Im switching pharmacys
Pharmacy at night is one of only a very few in the AV that is open. Also the pharmacy for kaiser over night. One pharmacist working with lines of people. It should not talk well over 45 minutes to get a prescription strength eye drop.
Nice and clean
Very easy to find the items you are looking for
As always good service
