The customer service is excellent here and the prices are not bad at all and the place is comfortable and relaxing. The ice cream is sweet but not real real sweet. They have cookies and candies and they have ice cream. You can also mix and match it is definitely a go-to place for hot humid day.

Cutest shoppe ever! I had the chocolate marshmallow in a waffle cone. My son had the cookie dough ice cream and my husband had salted caramel. My son never eats a whole come, but he finished this in record time. The ice cream was scrumptious! The smell when you walk in is heavenly and they actually sell candles that smell like the strip waffle. I love that they have handmade artisan gifts supporting good sustainable causes and plan to get gifts there in the future. The outdoor space in the back is gorgeous and quiet despite being in the heart of the city.

Lancaster Sweet Shoppe was a quick stop for us on our way through town (based on a personal recommendation). It’s a picturesque shop with a lovely interior and beautiful courtyard behind the store. The ice cream was delicious and the servings were very generous! And, if these aren’t enough reasons to convince you to make a visit, know that you’ll be enjoying ice cream for a cause! The shop supports and employs refugees. I’d love to patronize more businesses like this one!

This is hands down the best dessert place in Lancaster! The employees are so kind, and the quality of the Stroopies, chocolate, and ice cream cannot be beat. Lancaster Sweet Shoppe takes care of their workers and also support artisans by carrying a selection of fair trade products as well! I am always satisfied coming here, and they often have fun seasonal desserts as well. They also give very generous scoops of ice cream which is great especially in hotter weather. If you are ever in the area, definitely check this place out!

They have great tasting ice cream! I loved how creamy it was and that it was locally made. I had the 3 mini dip sampler which was perfect for me. I also purchased a peppermint stroopy to eat at a later time. I put it over my tea cup as directed and it was amazing! Prices are also fantastic.

Just had ice cream delivered from grub hub. The ice cream sundaes were horrible. Got a 2 scoop each ina little container with no whipped cream or cherry. Can understand fudge on side could melt ice cream. But a little container. The sundaes through grub hub were 9.50 but if get at store they are 6.50. Why? Expected this amazing sundae. They were not. Will only go to friendlys in the future. Was our go to place. Thought try something different. Not impressed actually very disappointed. Between quality of product and grub hub never again. It was like eating a double scoop of ice cream and nothing else. This establishment should be ashamed of themselves cause it was really bad. I am not one to like to write reviews but for 40.61 I might as well throw my money away cause I threw my ice cream away. In today’s times positive vibes are the way I am. But this order I can’t find anything good about it. I did call Grub hub and I was reimbursed for the whole bill. And it wasn’t all their fault. Sorry sweet shop but it was not good

Mmmm Stroopies and ice cream!

Their ice cream was delightful. The coconut-pineapple flavor was so satisfying. The other flavor I tried was Acai based and was also very refreshing. Great chocolate collection. They even have stroopwaffles. Yum yum yum.

Excellent ice cream. My wife and I got the three scoop sampler and thier sampler size scoops were huge. The Butter Brickle was good, but needed more Brickle, in my opinion. Their Chocolate Peanut Butter Curl was my favorite. The peanut butter wasnt hard, it was creamy. Go here for ice cream!

This place is very pricey for so little ice-cream. The only thing I enjoyed was the peace and quiet while I ate ice-cream with my fiance. Just get the cones. You get more ice-cream that way instead of getting a Sunday. Its not worth it.

I just moved here in June and I was in the mood for ice cream. So I was excited to discover Sweet Shoppe few blocks from me and I brought my fiance who has extreme sweet tooth so he was way more excited to see the marshmallow chocolate ice cream on the menu. There are chocolate candies, stroop wafers (The friendly and sweet staff show publicly how to make stroopies!) and a variety of sweets and different flavors for everybody! I am excited for this place to be my to-go!

This store is a gem. The ice cream and chocolates are amazing! There is a large selection and the employee is helpful and knowledgeable. The cookies are delicious and I love that there is a gluten-free option for the cookies. I also loved that they had local products sourced throughout the store and also that there is a focus on helping others, as noted in how their products are sourced and how their delicious cookies are made. So glad we stopped here.

Excellent shop, lots more then just ice cream! Chocolates, candies, small gifts all around the shop. Outside seating in the back, inclosed for private licking and keeping your worries away if you have small kids who dont sit still.. I recommend upgrading your cone to a waffle cone, $1.00 more !! Well worth your buck! I will definitely be back there, as I live just a few mins away!!

I love to sit and sip my coffee while submerged in the aroma of sugar and cinnamon. Very cozy. Then I leave while passing through the candy display, i pick up a half pound of Groff chocolates. I think they are made with Wilburs chocolate. Prices are reasonable. Friendly service and not pretentious like some cafes in Lancaster.

Amazing taste,We never had a stroopie before. Absolutely delicious! I ordered four different milkshakes,chai stroopie,strawberry, vanilla and chocolate and every flavor stroopie cookie. Visited this amazing shoppe for the first time on my birthday. Went up to buy some Stroopwafles which are my favorite Dutch cookie. Let me forst say that Stroopies Inc. is making some of the most delicious stroops Ive tasted. I also picked up 2 of the peanut butter cremes that Sweet Shoppe makes and they were soooo good, they didnt make it into this picture when I got home. Can not wait to go up and try the ice cream they have. You will NOT be disappointed if you visit.

My go to place for ice cream and a great patio sit. Dont get me wrong, their famous stroopies are nothing to pass over, but when I need ice cream this is where Im going. Its not a very big place, but they have a little patio out back where you can sit and enjoy your dessert. Right in the heart of downtown, so you could even take your ice cream to go on a stroll with you.

I ❤ Lancaster Sweet Shoppe! I have to come in to get my Stroopie fix! The espresso stroopies are the BEST! 😋 I also tried their seasonal butter pecan pancake latte today which totally blew me away! Im not a fan of overly sweet drinks & this was PERFECTION! The coffee flavor definitely came through 1st with notes of cinnamon/maple/pecan on the end. I was a little worried but so glad I tried it bc they knocked it outta the park for sure 👌 There were several other seasonal beverages that sounded terrific as well so Ill certainly have to go back & try em all! ☕☕☕

I love the program they have to give opportunities of employment to refugees. I think that is absolutely wonderful. I also love everything they have. Adorable candy shoppe, cute novelty goods, and delicious treats. Ive talked to people in the area that have no idea this place exists and I have no idea how. Take a visit, you wont regret it.

I stopped by today for my first time. The aroma was amazing both inside and outside of the shop.We were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly and very kind, and the people who work here are just as lovely. There is even a courtyard out back of the shop thats beautiful to sit in.The ice cream is homemade and the scoopie pies are a must try. You wont be disappointed!!!!!!
