Thought the food was good. The fries looked good and was a very generous size but got the onion rings which were better than most places. Had the cheese steak which was very good. Only 6 tables for in dining. The staff were extremely friendly as were the customers.Street parking is minimal although there is a parking lot across the street.
It’s a small but very busy and very good HALAL restaurant in this area. We love it. I recommend to order any sandwiches, they are pretty delicious
We have been at this place for the first time and absolutely loved the food. Everything is fresh and is being cooked before your eyes. The staff is friendly and courteous and ready to help. We had 10 people in our company and everyone found something on the menu that they liked and the food was great. Their prices are reasonable as well. We only wish that this place had more sitting capacity. Highly recommend!
Food was great - I was impressed with their vegetarian options! The service was also quick for take out. My only complaint is that I ordered cheese on my falafel burger, and when I got home there was no cheese.I would definitely recommend this place ☺️

I was told about this place I got a single cheeseburger with a few fixings, vanilla shake and fries. Well the burger has to be one of the best I ever eaten. The fresh cut fries were great and the milk shake was perfect. All for the price of McDonalds.... Ill always go here from now on to get my 🧀 🍔fix. Support small business in Lancaster....
The burgers were fresh and tasty..The fried chicken burger was the biggest surprise. The chicken was huge almost 8 to 10 inches long..He said he closes at 7pm but was full when I got there just after 7pm. Picked up at 8pm.. no fuss or attitude..Halal and must try if you are ever in Lancaster PA ....
I came here on a recommendation from a friend. In a nutshell, Id recommend the burgers here in a heartbeat!The place is small because of its location. Its a renovated end-of-row home like a lot of places in Lancaster city, located just as you come into the northern end of the city on Prince Street. Youre not far from Route 30 and a lot of shopping, so this is a great place to take a break if youre out at the shoppes.There is no parking lot that I saw -- on-street is what you get.The grill is readily visible from the tables, so you can see what youre getting. My son and I both decided to go big and get the quad cheeseburger along with a side of mozzarella sticks and onion rings.The owner/cook was exceptionally friendly and pleasant. You got to watch him make the burgers fresh, and the smell of it all while you waited just made your mouth water. The burgers here definitely rank among the best in the city. They were fresh, juicy, and absolutely delicious. The were cooked perfectly -- not dry, not underdone. The burgers were also assembled nicely with a paper half-wrap instead of just being thrown together. Each bite was heaven!As a plus, they also offer the Impossible Burger as a vegetarian option. They get high marks in my book for that!I dont have anything special to say about the sides other than they were good mozzarella sticks and onion rings. I was really here for the burger, so I didnt concentrate on the sides much.The kind of flavor and quality you get here is great, and the prices are just as good. Best burgers in lancaster. Been coming to route 66 for 6 years now and i will continue to frequent them. I had a work office order that was missing a fry ( the order was over 80 dollars during afternoon rush so cant even be mad ) and the next time i came in and had mentioned it, i was credited the fry with no questions asked. Owner is an honest person and the food is all delicious, no matter what you order.
First time visit today, with my 17 yr old nephew, who is a self proclaimed “ burger connoisseur”. Passed with flying colors and high accolades! We will definitely be repeat visitors!
Customer service is the worst. Answer the phone if they feel like it for orders. If they answer because they feel like it, if you ask a question, they get annoyed. Wendys burgers are better anyway and cheaper. There onion rings are frozen from a bag. No fast service. Some reviews are comical. Mine is honest. They dont even have crispy fries.
Found this place from a Google search for burgers in Lancaster. We stopped in, everyone was friendly, fries were great, burgers were good, prices were great! We will be back no try the cheese steaks we could see being prepared. Hoping they are as good as they look.
This place has the best Nashville chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Highly recommend checking Route 66 out. Don’t let the small footprint fool you they have amazing food and service.

Omg!!!!! The cheeseburger was so delicious. Angus beef goodness. The onion rings were super crunchy and they were not greasy at all. The curly fries were wonderful as well. This restaurant has a homey feel to it and the staff are really nice. I cant wait to go back and they their cheesesteak. Very delicious food for a great price.

On our way to Rhode Island we decided to go out of way to try these burgers and oh man it was a great decision.Once we got there we had trouble finding the parking spot once we parked we ordered cheese steak and quad burge with curly fries. Burger was huge, juicy and delicious burger patties were fresh and didnt feel or tasted like frozen patties even meat used in cheese steak was awesome.Owner of the shop was really nice he told us about the source of beef.This place have a nice old school ambience which I loved it very much.Overall experience was great food was awesome people worked there was great. Will definitely visit this place again if I am ever on that side.

I am a big fan of Nashville hot chicken and I have had it many times including some popular spots in Vegas. I can honestly say as I told the guys at Route 66, this is the best I and my wife have ever had! Unassuming from outside but fantastic service, cleanliness and food! Far surpassed any of my expectations and I could not recommend Route 66 more! Dont judge a book by its cover and get a great meal at this diner. Way to go Route 66 Diner!!!
I was passing by Pennsylvania today and stopped by route 66 restaurant. The burger was literally the best Ive had, not greasy but very juicy, just perfect. I was with 5 other people and they all loved it, although my little brother is soooo picky he also ate and totally loved it. It was clean and the atmosphere was cozy. The people were welcoming. It was a great experience. Wish they could open a branch in Virginia!!

It was great, i got the cheeseburger sub and fries, phenomenal and highly recommended. The fries were perfect, like a boardwalk style. My order was fabulous, and next time I am in the city I will surely try something else on the menu. Kudos to the staff, extremely nice and courteous, will definitely go there again. Beef bacon, first time trying it, could have fooled me it wasnt pork!

Amazing food! I had to drive at least 39 miles one way from where I was staying in PA but it was totally worth it! My son is now planning to drive up to Lancaster (Route66) with his friends for 2 plus hrs (each way) from VA to enjoy the meal again.
We ordered carryout for 4 of us on Saturday. The food was really good. I personally had the spicy chicken tacos and i really liked them....the name is legit though, they were spicy. Prices seemed good as well.Now heres why not the 5 stars. They did take long to prepare our food than we were told. Also, while it seemed cleaned inside, the floors were awkward sticky, which isnt fun. The parking situation is also not amazing.
We were a little sceptical when we first drove up but decided to give it a go and were so glad we did! My husband picked it because the burger was supposed to be good and it did not disappoint. The burgers were so juicy and flavorful and the fries were fantastic! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The food here was awesome! One of the best burgers Ive ever had in my life; their cheesesteak was great too...and its halaal. The staff were very friendly and helpful in assisting with making a decision on what to eat. This restaurant is on the corner and might be missed as there is a small sign atop the door.

I enjoyed my food but my boyfriend did not. We both had cheeseburgers. I will say everything was very greasy, so make sure youre in the mood for that. Perhaps my bf was not. The atmosphere is cute and diner-esque however we did wait quite a long time for our online order to be ready.
Were looking for a place to eat after visiting Turkey Hill Experience (only 15 minutes away). We were a little nervous when all we saw were homes in the neighborhood. This unassuming little restaurant is on the corner. Americana style place, with really delicious food. Burgers are very similar to shake shack. My husband enjoyed his tandoori chicken cheesesteak, though a bit spicy!

Drove over an hour from the Philly area after seeing them mentioned on a you tube video. The burger tasted fresh, the toppings were crisp and the cheese was perfectly melted. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was crispy and had a good amount of spice. Definitely will be making the trip to Lancaster again in the near future.
Overpriced 2 hot dogs $ 8 46 I thought they were the jumbo kind but to my surprise just regular dog nothing on it no fries or soda. And by the way menu said 2.99 when I asked he said 3.99 each plus tax. Not going back

Great little burger spot on an unassuming corner in Lancaster city. Excellent, greasy old-school patties and fresh ingredients as well as the option for an Impossible meat alternative. Full range of milkshakes and fries (the curly variety are particularly delicious), as well as other basic diner fare. Id only improve the quality of the cheese on the burger to make this place truly a hidden gem.

This place is a good nieghborhood diner. Great place for takeout, as the dining area is small, and only has a few tables. Parking on the street is hit or miss.
Enjoyable experience here. The Angus beef burger was very good. I asked for a salad and they were able to incorporate everything I wanted including avocado. The barbeque chicken was very good. Although, I must say my curly fries came out a little disfigured, but Id give them a start for their quality.Its a nice family place. And Halal.

Honestly, probably the best fries I have ever had are from here. They were perfectly crispy and delicious and the mozzarella sticks were picture-perfect stringy. Ive only had the deluxe cheesesteak, but I will absolutely be coming back to try more items on the menu!
Dont question it just try it the food soo cheap yet sooo sooo soooooo tasty. That was the best meal Ive had in a while I cant explain how good it is but the chicken tenders crispy and crunchy yet juicy and spicy def my new favorite place I dont give out 5 stars to just anyone.

The Nashville chicken sandwich was very good. The taste was awesome. The staff was friendly. Its a good place to have lunch on a lazy weekend. The place is decorated with retro artwork all over. They dont have a big place for dine in so its better to get a take out.

WOW! Had the Nashville Hot sandwich. Fantastic, tender, juicy breast, with a light breaded exterior swashed in hot oil sauce. The accompanying home fries were delightful as well. Stole a bit of my sons quad burger, and the beef was fresh, juicy and with strong beefy flavor. Definitely not your run of the mill frozen patty! Best part, its halal!!!
