We scheduled an appointment and then got a call that it would have to be rescheduled which was fine but then the salesman still showed up on The original day- luckily we were close to home to meet him. The consultation was brief because we were informed it would be no less then $10,000 for the project which was a shower.
They were very nice but do not offer services they show on the website. I was looking for a jetted tub and they show pictures of jetted tubs on their website. When they called me they said they do not install jetted tubs anymore. Attached photo is from their website.
I love my new front door. Starting from the consultation with Evan who was extremely patient, informative, helpful and knowledgeable to the installers Tim and Kyle who were very professional, kind and took the time to answer all my additional questions. Ive never had a better experience with an installation before. From start to finish this install was perfect. Tim and Kyle cleaned as they went along and worked so smoothly together. West Shore Home even sent Lacey with baked goods to my home during installation. What a treat! Then Evan returned at the end of installation to make sure we were satisfied. Wow wow and wow. 5 stars for West Shore Home. Highly recommended!
Overall it was a good experience. I’ll start with less the desirable then end with the good. The sales pitch the rep gave was a hard sales pitch. However, he was professional, clean cut, and well spoken. The demonstration of different products, double vs triple pane glass was a yawn. The discounts they give are bogus. Such as flash sale, one time only on the spot pricing, Facebook discount and the like. This is done to make one feel like they are getting a deal. It’s a smokescreen. They have a price match guarantee program: also bogus. Why? They use a “special” Provia door. That’s under a name they exclusively use so you will not be able to find it anywhere else. They will even go as far to send you a tech sheet comparing any competing quote one may get. To tell you “see it’s not the same”. Despite the door being from the same manufacturer and same product line just under their in house naming system. Finally they are more expensive despite the “discounts” while using the same supply company as other reputable contractors. The good. The supply company they use is ProVia. Excellent manufacturer if you are replacing a door or window in your house, find a contractor that uses them. It’s the best hands down. The craftsmanship is well above the industry standard. The sales rep was personable despite the hard sales pitch. They pick up the phone when you call them and they have good manners on the phone. The whole transaction from start to finish was smooth. They installed the door two weeks ahead of schedule! The install itself went through without a hitch and was done quickly. The installers did a great job. The sales rep called me back a week after the install: professional. I recommend them with a caution that one gets several quotes before signing any paperwork.
Kyle, Tim and zach did a great job. My self as a custmer I whould use them again. Great job .
Bought from them twice already. Saving to have them replace my door next.
