This place is a hidden gem in Lancaster. A short distance outside of the Lancaster downtown area is Lunn Fabric. Definitely NOT what you would expect in Lancaster. Lunn Fabric is one of the top importers of hand made Batik fabric in the USA. They bring the fabric in from their factory in Indonesia. Their store in Lancaster is quite impressive. They have room after room of colorful fabric. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners. If you are a quilter this store is a MUST SEE.

I have purchased Batik from several places but none compare to Lunn Fabrics Batik! Every time I visit I plan to stay for an hour and end up staying for several hours without realizing it! So much to see and never enough arms to carry it all so I plan another trip to my favorite fabric store in the whole universe! Fabulous quality fabric at a wonderful price! Endless selections!

Im not a quilter but I visited Lunns this week with friends who are. If you create with fabrics, you need to go to Lunns! The fabrics here are fabulous and the batiks are stunning. They are created by the owner of the company. It almost makes me want to take up quilting...and I may, if ever I find enough time! LOL, Im a busy senior citizen.
