My favorite place to get all the staple Middle Eastern foods that I grew up with. That my parents always got. We’ve been shopping here my whole life. Always such a pleasant trip when I come in. Such a great family atmosphere.

Good place for hard to find products. Its the only place I could find preserved lemons in Lancaster.

Mandros is great local importer of fine foods and cheeses. A great place for a gourmet ingredients or specialty gifts. The family is friendly and helpful, and the place is full of love. Whether you need to restock on pasta, or are looking for a cheese to impress, Mandros is your store.

Advertised as closed at 7:00pm got to the store at 6:25. Store closed. Cant rely on times on site. We are working people. Our time and patronage mean something. Wasted trip. If you close at 6:00 than put it on your site. At this time it says 7:00.

You can smell the goodness before walking in the door! An amazing selection of olive, olive oils, and cheeses. And such a warm smile from momma. Shes passed on now but her store lives on. When in Lancaster, pa its must! Put it on it list!

We used to drive to the zoo, aka NYC, for imported foods. After finding this gem of a store, NYC will now be a memory. Mandros had everything we were looking for and more. The store is like the ones we were used to in the old country. My mom was allowed to sample the cheeses and liked every one she tasted and we bought a little of each. Finding parking was a little tricky, so when you go do yourself a favour and don’t go with a quad cab pickup. Can’t hurt to call ahead and ask if they have what you are looking for. We went blind based on reviews I read on Google Maps (thanks again Google), definitely worth the 1.5 hour car ride. We will be going back frequently to keep the larder stocked, if the end of the world comes, want to go out with a good meal. If you are a red blooded patriot, pay your respects to Thaddeus Stevens, he is buried a few blocks away. Thad Stevens, you are not forgotten!

Good selection of imported items that are otherwise very difficult to find. I’ve been looking for golden syrup for a year and finally found it here in the squeezy bottle or tin. They also have a large range of pastas, digestive biscuits and one of my favourite jams from Scotland. And the Mediterranean tonic I’d had to order online previously. The owner was non-invasive, letting me browse about at my own pace and not hovering or bombarding me with questions or fake ‘help.’ We had a conversation about Scottish history as I checked out and he told me what he had in from the UK in case I’d missed anything. Nice change from the atmosphere in most shops.

AMAZING Italian deli meats, cheeses, pastas, & other imported eats. Ive been looking for a local Italian deli & this lovely little place exceeded all of my expectations. I purchased the genoa salami (perfect), the sweet sopressata (great), & the Italian boiled ham (best Ive EVER had) For reference, I typically dont eat ham but this was absolutely yummy & I couldnt stop eating it- by far my favorite. I highly recommend Mandros. This was my 1st time here but it certainly wont be my last. 👍

A great shop for the home cooks who see themselves as home chefs. He has so many imported foods, and will recommend cheeses etc to you. Some of my favorite parts of this shop are the giant wall of pasta, the vast olive oil selection, and the cheeses and meats at the deli counter.

Based on Bill’s recommendation I tried another new cheese today. Monts de Cats a French Flemish Franciscan ( say that four times fast) a washed rind monastery cheese and a Rogue River Smoked Blue as well as a wonderful Spanish Bucheron-style goat cheese. Travis got a truffle mousse pate. Our friends loved everything.

This is a small place and is definitely nothing to look at but what it lacks in style it makes up for in substance. Great selection of imported meats and cheeses. Great pasta and Italian specialties as well as other imported and gourmet products. Staff is friendly and helpful. Best selection of Italian and European specialty foods that I have found so far in Lancaster area.

My Syrian father would take us to this store all throughout our lives. We finally had a chance to visit there together again. The son is still as kind as he ever was. I love being able to eat those foods.

Absolutely in heaven at this place as the imported cheeses are abundant. Bill, the owner, asked about our likes and dislikes and directly cut off cheese wheel accordingly. Those cheese l lover very very happy. Hubby got great selection of olives, again Bill set him up based on likes/dislikes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I wish I had a store like this in my town! I was helped immediately, in less than 10 minutes I had three amazing cheeses wrapped and ready to go. Great variety and reasonable prices for high quality products!

An amazing little shop, full of the BEST cheeses, olive oils and pastas! They have an awesome selection of cheeses, and the Parmesan cheese is the best youll find! If youre looking to make a special meal, this is the place to shop. It is a little pricey, but when you taste the completed product, youll understand that youre paying for quality goods. Theres so many fantastic foods here - take your time, explore, and talk to the owners! They can suggest all sorts of things, and they really know their products. Just typing this review has me hungry for their salted anchovies...

Mandros Imported Foods likely has the best selection of Italian cured meats, cheeses, and pasta outside of Philadelphia or New York City. Great selection of imported oilves, and some of the best hot and sweet fresh Italian sausage available. This corner store has been a staple in Lancaster City for more than 50 years, and is still run by the same caring and hospitable Mandros family. Bravo!

Went in to get some fresh ground parmesan and Romano cheese. The guy behind the counter took the time to explain to my 7 year old how and why real cheese comes the way it does

The foods here are exquisite, flavorful and delightful to the senses. This is the way food used to be and should be. Today I am having Piave Vecchio cheese and LaPanzanella, Mini Croccantini Rosemary crackers. Superb! Mandros is a treasure to be in Lancaster City and County. Stop by and be delighted.
