I wanted boston red leaf lettuce. All the heads were dirty and half rotten, not crisp. I think they get that way from the misters. They get saturated with water from these and then get that way. Also the St. Germain are in paper bags and very doughy. They used to be crisp. Why do the St. Germain baguettes have to be in paper bags when the other breads are out in the bakery department?
The place looks nicer than other similar places, but I personally dont feel its worth the higher prices. I understand they have some unique items, but most are of the same quality, just much higher prices. Im not bashing them, its just my opinion. I love high quality items and exceptional services. I seek out to locate this whenever possible. Have a great day....
Work there part time and food shop when I am done. Love it!
First time shopping in one of these stores. The meat was amazing. Melt in your mouth good. A little pricey but well worth it.
Cashier was very nice ! She actually told me something I dont know and I think its useful information. This is place is owned by Amazon, so if youre prime, you get 10% off on everything thats on sale.Great Job on keeping the place clean. The prices are a bit too high in my opinion, I try to go once in a while but I would go more if the prices were convenient
Thank you for your amazing Cake, thank you for your great customer service and professional workβ¦ They made unicorn cake for my daughter birthday,,, itβs really Number one! Really appreciate it and everyone there was very helpful,,, thank you for decorative workers Jell and Bethany and you All !!!
I live near the flagship store on 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street in Brooklyn. That is a five-star store. This is barely a four-star store. Some of it might be because of COVID-19. I found the selection lacking and it made me wonder how slow the inventory turnover is in that store. The people who work in the store provided great customer service.
I always get what I need! I love the online order/ delivery too, it is the best. I just wish they had more variety in produce section.
Over priced, and there are more local and better quality goods at Stauffers of kisses hill.
Best supermarket around for healthy food thats also consists and environmentally aware. The place itself is huge with good variety, everything from vegetables to desserts, and everything in between. Their potato salad is amazing. Definitely would recommend. Five stars
I cant say how disappointed I was on Friday July 23rd at roughly 6pm. I swung by to grab something from the food bar. Most of the trays were empty or close to it. I choose from the hot bar several vegetable selections. When returning home I was even more disappointed. The only reason that I would give 2 stars is that the Korean BBQ Tofu will bring me back. The rest, if I made them at home I would consider a failure. Guys I will pay the price, am willing to sit through the traffic, am trying to be your client...give me something
Register girl needs to brush up on costomer service. did not bag any of my items regardless of quantity or weight. put my items on belt way way way away from person in front of me cause didnt see any divider bars. but cashier advanced belt all the way up to end and but my two items got put on other costomers total. that costomer was ticked and had to wait for mgr to void total. cashier ask me can I help you and I said with what these are my two items. cashier gave me smart azz remark paid my total. She went on next costomer I had to bag my items myself the bag tore I just picked the bag up anyway. before I left her I heard her say do I need help and I replied your the one that needs help.
Whole Foods!Amazing vegan stuff. Im vegetarian, but the vegan bakery items are to die for! They really taste amazing and contain no eggs! Maybe a bit pricy, but not bad for an occasional treat.
Great section of Organic Foods. We have enjoyed shopping there. Since we enjoy soda we Iike the all nature, no preservative choices.
We go there to buy grass fed rib eye steaks. Theyre tender and delicious!
I love whole FOODS. Took my friends for the first time, love the homemade pasta selection, as well as the baked breads and pastries
Just went for the first time and I love the options of vegan/ organic products. Got several cleaning products and I LOVE the good soap section. 5 stars.
Have always liked WF but lately theyve discontinued favorites of ours and always seem to be out of stock on other things we like. Possibly pandemic related?
Love Whole Foods. The Lancaster County store is small, but has everything you need for healthy eating, plus fancy, sexy cheese, olives, breads, dips, chocolate, etc.
Love all the specialty organic foods, its a happy place for meπ
This is a small Whole Foods but they do a pretty good job. Lancaster has a good selection of grocery stores.
Friendly and ready to serve. I always enjoy going there is a3 hour drive to the hotel. From Passaic nj but I keep whole food market in mind as one of my stops
Overall great, my only complaints are about the bags which constantly rip now and that they advertise the Lancaster Coop produce as organic. They use growth inhibitors, seeds donβt produce fruit, thatβs a GMO.
The whole store pretty cool, Some employees say hi and ask how are you doing, others ignore you, and paying for my drink, you should pay attention to the customer I had a question but you kept talking about your job to someone else and how employees donβt show up for work! Iβll recommend to family but tell them be careful the employees have no respect!
My husband and I had our first experience with Whole Foods Markets, and we loved it! The facility was clean and well organized. Every single staff member we came in contact with was very friendly. I was impressed with the selection of meat and seafood. I highly recommend stopping by the seafood counter. They carry everything from crabcakes to scallops. The price of the seafood was fair. Another reason I gave this store five stars is for the bulk food section. I felt like a child as I browsed the various nuts, oats, quinoa, dried fruits, candy and so much more. I wanted a little of everything, but I contained myself. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
I was really impressed. I had heard a lot of things about Whole Foods and they lived up to my expectations. I was also pleased that Prime members get discounts!
Good healthy food.. No harmful chemicals ππ½π
I like the store however the delivery service stinks. 3 times now you can see the drivers on the app sitting at one location for over 30 minutes. Do you you allow these drivers to go home for dinner while our groceries sit in their car. Its ridiculous to have my groceries leave the store and nor be delivered for over an hour and the entire time the app says your next.
Had an extremely frustrating experience with the delivery of my groceries, contacted Amazon and they werent any help at all...but Mike the supervisor at Whole Foods was so absolutely helpful and patient during the entire process... I cannot thank you enough. The level of service you provided and that you went above and beyond to make it right meant so much. Your company is fortunate to have you as part of their organization. I am truly grateful and God bless you!
Great healthy foods organic cooked whole chickens and sides made a quick picnic option
This was my first time at this Whole Foods location, and it is a lot smaller than some of the other ones I have been to. That said, it is the only place I know of to buy certain things around south central PA. 5 stars in the context of south central PA, so take that for what it is worth. Staff were friendly and helpful, obviously.
Very nice store, but a little high priced some things.
What feels like civilization is far and few between where I live. I love this place. They have great produce and had a whole station dedicated to cilantro. These are my people.
Great produce, best of any grocery store in Lancaster IMO.Architecturally it is pleasing and comforting. Elegant and modern without seeming pretentious.Given the intense traffic on this part of fruitville pile, the store is actually surprisingly easy to get to.
Very nice, very clean, alot of good healthy food dose take EBT, the prices are rather high so watch out for that
Good vegan section/substitutes π
Trolleys and baskets cleaned before you get there. Someone at the entrance to greet you and ensure everyone is wearing a mask. Unsurprisingly a lot of stuff is overpriced and they donβt stock junky household brand stuff, but their fresh stuff is good quality. Their butcher, wine and cheese areas are great and the staff well trained and able to give advice. They stock some items the other stores donβt (however for some unfathomable reason, they donβt stock olive oil suitable for cooking, only extra virgin).
Customers service was awesome. I had purchased 3 bottles of Nielsen Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract, which we all know is very EXPENSIVE. One of my bottles cracked on the shelves. I called the store and was told that I could return it without any problems.
Everything is very fresh.
I would highly recommend going! The costumer service is very good, Its maintained very well!
Love how they have fresh squeeze orange Juice
What is a whole foods doing in Lancaster in central PA? Testing out how poor the people are and how uncultured they all are with the food they cant afford and dont want?
Whole foods is wonderful! Quality food and a great selection π
Convenient and close. Thats enough for me. Theres a lot I love about this place and it outweighs the things I dont.
Good store for unhealthy snacks that make you feel healthy because they say organic on them. I found a very very small amount of actual health food. Giant and Wegmans are much better. Or Sonnewald, if you can travel. Not to mention, the entire produce section smells like fish. The employees were friendly.
Great selection here, but what really made me want to leave a review is the staff. Everyone here is so kind and helpful! I interacted with at least four different associates and they were all so pleasant.
One of my favorite places to shop.
Look. Ive never been here. My girlfriend found this atrocious and forced me to go here. I loved it. She loves it. I wasnt even allowed to take pictures she loves it so much. So its a little more expensive (read A LOT) than your typical grocer. They have a fine selection of stuff I wont ever really buy. I got some soap, Some sandwich creme cookies, Two bottles of wine, and maybe something else idk. I did then order some groceries for delivery later that day and got a loaf of rye, some pastrami and some deli mustard and made some really good pastrami sandwiches. Delivery was FREE. Yes. Free. And it came less than 3 hours after I had placed my order. This may be a treat I indulge myself in occasionally. But I dont mind going out to get supplies. I need to go back and try the deli pizza. Oh! My checkout clerk was super friendly and support informative for a first timer. In the famous words of the Terminator, Ill be back.
I only go here once a year- for flowers on Valentineβs Day, But do they have a good, quality affordable flowers! The bunch I got for my wife is still going 3 weeks later. Everyone reviews their groceries, hereβs a plug for their flowers!
The WORST when it comes to curbside pickup. I waited outside for exactly 52 minutes before they came out with my order. I was told that one of my grocery bags went missing, which I can understand...human error- it happens. But whatβs not acceptable is their carefree nonchalant attitude over their mistake. They dragged their feet in correcting this mishap of giving my bag to another driver. Making me wait almost an hour while multiple other customers drove up and received their orders first. Then when I called to see what exactly was going on and why more employees werent helping to hurry along my order, the person I spoke with just gave a pathetic response again explaining that my bag was accidentally given to someone else, but nothing more. When it comes to customer service, you would think the business would make things right in some kind of compensation, especially when theyβre in fault. But not Whole Foods. Their customer care, lack of organization, and slow service is absolutely terrible. They need new management and new employees.
Nice store, lots of staff around. Some really friendly others not so much. Great selection of frozen foods, cheese, bakery items, a lot of locally produced items. Nice wine and beer selection. I had the flank steak, aged NY strip, and filet. Pricey per pound and not really worth it. Wegmans has better quality beef and better value for your dollar. Produce is ok. Very clean store and lots of interesting items.
For someone who is finally starting her vegan journey, after being vegetarian for 10 years, I am ecstatic that I have a whole foods near me. They have a variety of different options to choose from at reasonable prices (I compared them to my local gorcery store, not only were they cheaper in most products they of course had a lot more for me to choose from.)Its an added plus that the bakery has vegan options to choose from as well (I always get a cupcake and some kind of breakfast pastry.) Other grocery store chains are getting more options in, which is great, but I have never seen vegan pastries in their fresh bakery options, and lets be honest sometimes Im to lazy to bake my own and I like having the ability to just buy something. Also tried ordering groceries online for pickup for the first time and it was very easy. I really liked that they gave you the option to trade an item out for something else encase they ran out of the first thing you wanted. Plus they keep you up to date on your order as its being done.
Love this store!! Was with hubby so curbed myself a little exploring for my first visit but will definitely be making this a regular visit
Recently, I was assaulted by a Whole Foods employee, Michael some weeks ago resulting in my nearly having to be hospitalized. Why? Because, I dared to lower my mask, while standing at the exit(far away from food or people) to call my friend to come collect me.! As a senior citizen, who was raised to believe to respect ones elders and that the customer was always right I was not expecting to come under such vicious attack for simply lowering my mask(which for health reasons I was not obliged to wear in the first place!).The young man, Michael, who seemed to enjoy having the power to terrorize a senior citizen not only violated the clearly stated social distancing rules by getting in my face, but threatened me with bodily harmWhole Foods may have money and influence, but it is still βwe the peopleβ, who still make the difference!
Visiting from Delmar San Diego for work. Went in to pick up some chicken and snacks for my wife and I to share, while staying at the Hilton across the street. To my bizarre surprise, the lady at the express checkout at 330pm April 22 was bizarrely patronizing me for my purchases. Making comments about making sure I get enough protein and flexing, making grunting noises....I was quite taken aback at the odd gesture and felt quite uncomfortable.I would not shop here again if I did live in town.
Great produce selection and gluten & grain free options. Very friendly and helpful associates, too!
My wife and I love this store because of the staff goes out of way to help you
Little more expensive, but you get what pay for. Best steak Ive found.
I arrived around 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday. Hoping to buy some fresh fish from the display case. There was 1 or 2 options as far as fish filets and even those looked to be dry and unappealing. There were several complete empty sections and the only seafood that looked fresh was the shrimp.
Large selection and good quality, especially the produce.
You can find pretty good deals sometimes especially if you have prime. Great selection
Order a Buffalo chicken pizza while you are shopping. You wont be disappointed.
They are not expensive as I have read. The staff are helpful and friendly.
Somewhat pricey some say....then since. Competition is great in the area change that... yesterday.....work on new ads like new lower friendly pricing . work hard to get more customers and that is making up the difference. ads...ads...ads.. Whole Foods for the table . .........(TAKEN FROM GIANT) HA! HA!.......
I found blood oranges- it was a good tripπππ
Could walk around there all day long and look at all the products they have.
I was so happy to find out Whole Foods was coming to Lancaster. However I am so disappointed with some of the staff... They are very RUDE! And for the lady who I asked if I needed help and basically told me I aas crazy cause things like that dont exist! And she rolled her eyes when I asked if they had cayenne pepper drops. And she said I NEVER heard of such a thing. I just walked away and then she proceeded to talk about ME to another co worker. Lol Like WTH. Anyway here is some proof that these drops exist.
This is a great grocery store with lots of organics and also unusual fruits and vegetables. Wonderful meats and fish.
Not quite Wegmans but very nice.
Always a great pickup experience in my book the wait is like-well there is no wait they are literally waiting for you...packed well each an every time. Very friendly staff...kudos whole foods
Always enjoys going in to this store, clean and well organized.
Clean store, pretty large, has a lot of options and pretty much anything you need. Good meat selection.
Nice staff and I am sure the food is great... But the PRICES come on......
Love their seafood and cheese π§ π
Got harassed in the store. We had our mask and put them on and they still harassed us and kicked us out. Also its not a law but we did what you said and you still threatened to call the cops if we didnt leave. I will add that it is against the law to ask anyone about their medical issues. This is most definitely a place I will not give by business to and will continue to go to my local stores and support them as they do not harrass those who are shopping or out to eat.
Good place for organic and specialized food. Great bread!
Great products and even better customer service! Prime discounts are awesome and I can always find what I need!! Bakery will even customize cakes for allergies!! Highly recommend!
It is a blessing to have businesses like Whole Foods and other businesses of the Lancaster Pennsylvania donate to our communities your contributions improve the quality of lives many who are financially inept to afford the smallest of sustenance because of this pandemic thank you so much
Thats it. Ive had it. This store might be great, but their hot food bar is horrendous. Half the time, its mostly empty. Today (WHY didnt I take a picture) one ENTIRE bar of food was completely empty. I havent been here in months since my facility moved to Mount Joy in September. I stopped going even before that for the same reason. This much time later and still absolutely pathetic. Get it together.
Love whole foods the food is amazing quality and clean . Staff are always respectful and helpful. Store is always clean and everyone adheres to mask wearing
Nice grocery store with plenty of selection of international, organic and traditional foods.
I know exactly what I thought about
My wife and I enjoy going to this Whole Foods store for groceries, sometimes on a weekly basis. Generally speaking, whole foods seems to be great for produce, as well as fresh meat. They definitely have a wide variety of fruits and vegetables with very high quality. Also, being able to pick up beer or wine at the same store is a plus.
The staff was helpful and friendly... A little pricey but was really impressed with the fresh produce.
I really like Whole Foods Market. Its very clean and well stocked. The prices are a little steep.
Great food selection without the unhealthy addatives.
Who knew? Love that they sell beer.
Perfect for people who want all organic food. Only went because I had a gift card.
Strange layout, but overall, a good place to find produce
Lots of natural foods and selection. Polite staff, well designed store
Now owned by Amazon. Amazon returns available inside.
