They have alot of books. They have alot of magazines. The place is clean inside and outside. They have a big store. The one by the old Lansing mall in Lansing Michigan thats the one we usually go too its on w. Saginaw street or hwy. . The clerks are nice and help yall out with finding books and stuff. We think they even have a coffee shop there where you can get a nice cup of coffee and maybe some food. They have bathrooms that are clean. Thank you.

I havent been there in 2 yrs. Its always stocked with current and dated stock. They are super happy to order something for you if they dont have it. And they dont try shove their discount card down your throat.

Ebooks are okay, but there is nothing better than to get a real book to hold on to in your hands and read. I picked up two. I highly recommend the Midnight Library and The Girl on the Train. Grabbed some coffee and a delicious dessert. It was a wonderful way to pass the time.

As always an amazing place to try a new book and get some work done. I just wish they had a more comfortable seating area! I would stay for so much longer 😭

The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Clean and well organized. Wait times arent too bad. Its a great place to go on a date or wonder alone.

Great selection of books with staff very ready and eager to assist you. I especially enjoy the seating area up front (and not to forget the Starbucks where there is extra seating) where you can enjoy your book for those too eager to start reading before they get home!

It’s a nice clean store, plenty of options to browse and a little cafe area for a quick coffee and bite to eat. Was just a little more difficult to find someone and get some questions answered.

This B&N isnt quite as good other stores but has a pretty decent selection. They didnt have what I was looking for in particular but thats not the reason for the rating. The rating is based off from store quality and lack of employees offering any assistance.

I spend at least an hour in Barnes and Noble every time I go in, longer if I get coffee! The smell of fresh, new books and opportunities to gain knowledge surround you. Love how many paper books there still are in the store, with so much technology these days.

Big store with a good selection of everything including childrens gifts. Big magazine selection and clearance section. Always stop when were in town. Highly recommended

A real bookstore still exists. Sure, its a chain, but some of the employees make it feel like the bookstores of yore. We found a couple of interesting books in the Annex, or sale, area. Good deals. Nice folks.

Ive been to this Barnes & Noble location many times, but today I received such exceedingly great service I had to leave a review.Tom was so incredibly helpful, I had told him I just wanted to check and see if some books were in stock (Salems Lot, The Silence Of The Lambs, and a romance novel I wont be owning up to), however he had the romance novel ordered immediately when it wasnt available and promptly lead me to the other two books despite reminding him it wasnt necessary - which was super helpful as it sometimes takes me forever to find books. Tom asked how old my niece was before we took off, as well as if she was reading/writing yet, then took us over to the childrens section and read a few pages from a book by the name of Animalia which we ended up taking home. After that he said another book (Ten Ponds? I cant remember off the top of my head) went really well with Animalia so we ordered that as well. When I had brought up the fact that my nephew and I had been looking for volume one of the manga No Game No Life he helped us look for it at the shelves and display table, after we couldnt find it he checked when they had received the novel (yesterday), then checked the back room and found it there.Tom was very professional/polite, knowledgeable with what was sold/where products were located, and that fact that he went the extra mile to track down a graphic novel for my nephew as well as recommend two great additions for my niece really warmed my heart.THANK YOU SO MUCH TOM! I sincerely hope you know that you are appreciated!

Always love going inside. I walked through the doors and looked to my left at all the books they always have there, found three books all $5 dollars each. They had a wonderful selection. Almost couldnt choose just 3.

Barnes and Noble has a nice, low key, Black Poetry section. I bought Claudia Rankine’s books “Just Us” and “Citizen” there.Other genres located within Barnes&Noble are updated regularly and they have a lot of choices.Finally, the staff there are invariably kind.Great atmosphere!

Left my credit card at the Starbucks, went back to get it, asked if I left a card there, before I could even finish my sentence, the barista threw my card at me I literally had to catch it, and didnt even bother to ask if it was my card or anything it was sitting out in the open anyone couldve seen it and hed of probably just given it to anyone who asked.

Great books for kids and adults.

I came here to find a book that had recently been published and hadnt seen it anywhere. One of the staff let us know that they had sold out of it and they could have it sent to my house. The employee put us in the computer to place the order and should receive it in about 5 days. It was a little cheaper by doing it that way and had no shipping charge. I was happy with the help I received and would go back again.

Its been 10 years since I stepped into the store and the science fiction sections have shrink from like 15 shells to for shells and I cant find my favorite authors anywhere

Reasonably wide selection however the manga section does not have as wide a selection as I would like

I walk in and my stress level goes down. I dont know where to look 1st. Love getting a cold drink from the cafe. I only wish they were open later. I love this bookstore, and could easily spend hours here. My kids love the childrens area, with the trains and such. There is a good selection of games as well. You can also grab a coffee while youre searching for your next good read!

Amazing staff and organized so well. There must be a positive work environment there because the 3 different staff I interacted with were all super happy to help and excited about books! They were really helpful at pointing out the good deals as I was searching for a gift. Best location I’ve been to and I won’t be going anywhere else to buy gifts.IMPORTANT: before buying a book on amazon check here first. I found the book I wanted for $10 less on clearance

The best part of the Lansing mall in my opinion.

Store is neat and clean, its the average size of a Barnes and Noble. Although there arent any real places to plug in and charge your computer, phone, or tablet while youre reading. Another downside is the entrance/exit into the mall has a kids play area near the coffee shop thats inside which also has a play area outside so if youre looking for a place to quietly read maybe bring headphones or something. This store lacks little nooks to duck off and read in peace so keep that in mind. Altogether a good store with friendly employees.

I have long loved Barnes and Noble. I have book cases to prove it! Visited Wednesday to browse and chill... I was gonna walk the Lansing Mall. Beware people.. No exit to mall. Thats right folks, fire hazard.. No one stampede out to mall, its a death trap. Cov19 not as dangerous as the book store.
