The customer service was very poor and what he told us and what’s on the estimate total is different. I would not recommend this kind to service because you will have an incomplete project.

Start to finish great experience. Jeff helped us pick out the right LVP and was no nonsense through the whole process. If you want something done overnight, this may or may not be your flooring company. However, if your looking for installers that take the extra time to do things right and complete a quality install look no further. Tim and crew did our install. They were outstanding at communicated throughout the install resulting in an outstanding final product. No BS. Nothing unexpected. Just a friendly group of professionals anyone could enjoy small talk with. A+

The guy that assisted me was very helpful in his recommendations and seemed genuinely concerned with selling me the right flooring for the area. My ex-contractor, Bob, showed up at my door recently with a late payment for the money he owes me in a judgment I won against him in court for abandoning my renovation after he gutted my house. He told me that Matt, the manager/owner of American Flooring took the money for my tile order out of his paycheck and that I could finally pick it up. I was shocked to learn that he was working for American Tile (even though they had originally recommended him) and that they had taken the money for my tile out of his paycheck because I had paid for the tile in full last October after that same contractor abandoned my renovation and was in and out of jail and rehab for crack cocaine. When the ex-contractor told Matt that he knew Id paid, Matt refunded the money to Bob and didnt even bother to call me. Feel like Ive been run over twice!

I purchased a box of tiles from this location a few weeks ago. My sales rep was Tony, and he informed me that paying for the shipping world more than double my order cost. He advised that if I could wait a little while, I could get my tiles shipped with their next order for no extra charge. I paid for the tiles that day, with the assurance that they would call me when the order arrived.To be fair, I shouldve asked for a time estimate, but I assumed that their orders were at relatively regular intervals. So after two weeks with no word, I called to check on things. The sales rep that I spoke with said that there was no order due yet, but that he would call me that Friday. I received no call, so I waited a few more days... Nothing. At the end of the third week, I called for a status, and was told that they were not yet in. When I expressed my frustration with the lack of communication, the sales rep said in an exasperated tone well, you could always pay the $58 to have it shipped immediately. I was then told it should be there the next Friday (yesterday). It has been a month since I ordered the tiles, and (until today) I have been meet with nothing vague assurances and hostility. When I called today, I spoke with Jeff (who seemed very nice, and apologized for the lack of communication on their end). Jeff is the reason that Im giving this place a second star, because he acted as though he actually cared about my experience, and seemed genuinely interested in finding out when I might receive my tiles. At this time, I am unsure if I want to do business with this company again. If I do decide to continue using them for my tiles, I will only be working with Jeff.

Wanted to go here to shop for new floors. Store was closed during normal business. No sign on the door or anything. Doesnt appear to be out of business

My husband and I worked for American flooring for 5 hard years.. The owner Matt stole money from us not to mention keeping our last check two days before Christmas. He likes to play childish games. Theyre over priced and I hope karma bites him in the butt! I would never recommend them.. If you do use American flooring go to the Okemos store.

Bad experience today. Came in this week and got some good info on the type of flooring we want. Stopped back today to order and the guy working (never got his name) was not good. Tried to sell me flooring I dont want, way more interested in talking than listening. Would not answer basic questions and tried to sell me some remnants, i said no thanks and left. I have done my research and I know what Im looking for . I will spend my money where I can get decent help

Needed some new flooring for our kitchen/dining areas. The salesman introduced us to a great tile that worked out perfect. Love it! Thanks guys. Well be back soon for some of that HGTV carpet that you showed us for our living room.

Good work, overall. We were a little underquoted initially, but were satisfied with the selection process and carpet installation results. Will likely use again.

Customer service was horrible the guy acted like we were stupid. I dont know if its because Im 22 but we will not be back im paying 1800 dollars for carpet that is pulling up by my door and the guy said he cant do anything? I hope this isnt how you treat all your customers. Also the installers scraped our walls when they were laying carpet. But yet again they cant do anything. My recommendations is find a different place the carpet is nice but not worth 1800 dollars.

Overpriced and push to sell you the most expensive carpet they have even when you only want a cheap replacement! Did not care to listen, talked over me every time and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff here is helpful and very friendly. They have lots of samples and are open to letting you check them out to see them at home.
