I had a great experience with the store manager Gary today

I was with boost for a long time service was never that great but I could deal with it. Switching to cricket has been awesome for me the service is great but, what was even better is the stores manager Gary. Gary was not only incredible helpful and friendly but he was also vary understanding as I was fighting with boost mobile on the phone. Thank you Gary phones working great.Side note thier max plan comes with HBO max free and a year at sams club. Completely worth it. If your a boost customer in the Lapeer area give them a shot call the store ask for Gary you wont regret it.

Very unhappy. The employee i dealt with was gary. After buying the phone he wouldnt help me transfer my contacts and photos. Instead he set up a new email and told me he had to take a phone call and couldnt help me further. His tone changed as soon as the sale was finished. I ended up having to go to another store to ask for help. They told me i wasnt the first to complain about gary. Dont expect customer service at the lapeer cricket.

Nicole is very helpful and thorough. When the store gets busy, she is still very calm and patient with the customers. Nicole good above and beyond to do everything she can to help everyone to her fullest with a smile. Thank you for all your help nicole!

We went into the store yesterday to add two lines to my husbands plan. The store was busy! Gary Boudagh was the only one working. He was very patient with everyone. When it got to our turn, he was very helpful and thorough when explaining the phones and the new plan. I am very pleased with his customer service.

My parents were in the store a few days they had a wonderful experience with a worker, Nicole. She was very patient and respectful with them. I was very appreciative that she listened to their needs and responded in kind. The store was somewhat busy, but she treated them with respect. She asked if she could help other customers and then come back to them. They stayed 2 hours just for her help on things. She went above and beyond by typing out the directions for a speaker that my dad bought a month ago. She is very sweet and kind. She didnt try to scam them or take them for lots of money.

Gary was outstanding with the customer service and he has great hair, what else could you need in a Store Manager?

Cricket wireless was great, but my experience with gary Boudagh was not. I bought a phone from the store in lapeer from him, he told me i had 7 days to return the phone, i returned the phone on the 7th day and he denied me. He said it was past the 7 day return policy, i asked how is that possible if i bought it on tuesday and i was trying to return it the folowing tuesday. He told me that the day of purchase counts as a day. Well that would have been nice to know when he mentioned the policy in the first place. Telling me i have 7 days to return the phone was very misleading. Because its actually 6 days after you purchase. I honestly didnt care that much that i was stuck with the phone, it was the fact that he was so rude about it. He got angry with me asking questions, especially when i asked if customer service could help me. He said if he helped me return the phone or took the phone back his store would lose the $250. So i was just going to have to deal with it. I never write reviews but i have never experienced such a terrible experience inside a store. Maybe he was having a bad day. I was the only customer in there at the time. I WONT BE GOING BACK. T-mobile treats their customers like family and i think my family and i will switch back to them.

The lady was very good helping me and very patient with me explaining things that the other Cricket store I went to didnt. Lapeer will be getting my business from now on.

Everything went well and purchased item worked, it was so different from a normal mobile phone my mother-in-law was easily confused by it and stopped using the phone.

Yes can’t say enough good about my experience with Nicole in your store yesterday. She was very helpful and patient with my agony over which phone I wanted. She certainly knew her stuff, too.After having a really negative experience at the Caro location, I was so relieved to encounter someone who was really genuinely wanting to help me get set up with what I needed. Nicole is a keeper, and I will be recommending her and your store to anyone needing a phone and plan.

My daughters recently switched to Cricket, a few at a time. The youngest was using a BYOD phone, an unlocked, previously AT&T phone. No problem setting it up. However, after using it for a few weeks, she found there were 2 people that could NOT text her back; their replies to her kept going to a different person, who was getting very angry! Weirdest problem! We contacted Customer Service, per Garys suggestion, but they were of no help. Went in to just get a new number, while her original number was still relatively new. Was told they could do it but it would be $15. Um, no. So Kim and Gary initiated a call to Customer Service from the store. It took some time but they approved the $15 credit to offset the charge for the new number. (Note to Cricket: why not just allow store managers to authorize a fee waiver??) Kim was persistent in staying on the line until they approved the credit, which I thought took an inordinately long time. I had to leave before the transaction was complete but Kim followed up with me via text, and then Cricket was able to change the phone to the new number remotely, which i appreciated. (not having to go back into the store.)

Tommie Hickey was very kind, and got my phone set up very quick. He also explained everything so that I could understand it, and if I had questions he was quick to answer them. Easy five stars from me.

Cricket Wireless has very good rates, especially if youre looking at 4 lines+. Their speeds are not the fastest, but thats OK considering the price. Cricket does charge extra for Mobile Hotspot AND its only available on a limited number of handsets, so pay attention to the details on that if hotspotting is important to you.As far as our Lapeer store goes:The store manager (Gary) was very helpful and informative. Their inside guy that gets you set up is an absolute rock star. Tommy is a major asset to that operation, possessing knowledge, patience, an ability to multi-task and a great attitude while doing it.

UPDATE: Allen called on 5/19 and offered to refund me the price of the hotspot device. I wouldve given the store a better rating if I had a better experience returning the device.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Weve been happy with the customer service in this store until we learned that our mobile hotspot service was suspended. Come to find out the stores are not authorized to sell mobile hotspot devices. If you would like to be ripped off by the workers in Lapeer by all means purchase something from them. Not only would they not give me a refund for the device Cricket would not reimburse me the $30 that was charged to my account for 5 days of service. I will gladly change my review of this store when they give me a full refund for my hotspot device. Until then I will report them to the BBB.
