I normally am not one to complain and usually I love Kroger. They are the only store in lapeer that has a car seat holder on their carts which is a big deal when you have an infant. However all the carts with this feature are shoved behind 10 other carts so this morning I had to set my son down and move 10 carts just to get one. They are not light either. I originally went there for a money order and some produce. I get to the service counter…no one there. Went to self check out to ask the lady if someone could help me. She said the service desk doesn’t open until 9. It’s 8:50 am. So I decided I would go get my produce while I wait. Walk over to the tomatoes and they are all rotten or close to being rotten. I decided I had enough and left. Do better.

I was at this Kroger location today. There were a few things I wanted but required a loyalty card. I went up to the service counter and waited for several minutes so I could fill out an application. No one was there to help me out so I just walked out and went down to Walmart.

Kroger has adjusted prices somewhat. Well I dont like are the digital couponsNever Do payments on line .No Exceptions ever... What rock do you live under if you havent heard of this ❓👎

There bottle return closes at 10pm, but they kicked us out at 9:30 to clean. Really need to update your hours to match if you have scheduled cleaning. Also there was a male employee who booted into our conversation with a cash register lady being extremely rude and unprofessional. I don’t recommend this Kroger to anyone and if I could give it zero stars I would. All of the employees are extremely unprofessional!!! :)

WENT TO LAPEER KROGER 11:45 TO GET BREAD FROM BAKERY. COULD NOT FIND ANYBREAD AND NO ONE IN BAKERY. WENT TOCOUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TOLD NO HELPBAKERY CLOSED FOR THE DAY. WOW.SEEMS KROGER COMPANY HAS MADE ENOUGH MONEY TO OFFER THE BESTINCENTIVES FOR HIRING OF ALL GROCERYCHAINS. WHERE ARE THE INCENTIVES FORHIRING? WHERE IS THE LEADERSHIP?ALL DEPTS OPEN AT MEIJER. TOO BAD FOR KROGER THEY CANNOT BE COUNTED ON ANY MORE.

I do not recommend Kroger grocery pick up when buying produce and vegetables. I have shopped at Kroger for 25+ years. Never have I been so disappointed with what they gave me. Whoever did the shopping must of been blind. Here is a bag of apples, every sinlge one is bruised terribly and they look like they were tossed all over.

I have had quite a few bad experiences at this Kroger. The first time I dealt with an extremely unfriendly/rude cashier. Second time I had an issue with my pickup order (all of the produce I ordered was bruised). The third time was today and our cashier was unfriendly and the bagger put my bread in with boxed items.. it’s completely smashed. For spending hundreds on groceries for my family each weekly visit, I’m shocked to see how careless the employees are. I can’t say I’ll be going back here. Poor customer service. All around poor experiences.

Save your time, find a real grocery store that has a deli that is actually open. Rude staff and can never find what you need.

Every month these people at the Kroger Pharmacy lose either mine or my girls prescription and then find it a day later. this time was the last straw not only do they have a thief working there but my neighbor just told me that she knows something I wont mention because I dont think to highly of her either. I give this place five stars because if I dont they will not read it

We came through here from out of town and were very impressed. JoAnna in the floral department is phenomenal!! Very helpful in helping us make the right selection. She went above and beyond her call of duty to help us brighten someone’s day with flowers. Overall staff was great, highly recommend this place.. Layout and atmosphere was great too.

The Lapeer Kroger has been a great place for seniors to shop early in the morning during the pandemic. Unlike other area stores, I have never seen an employee without a protective mask or wearing their mask incorrectly. Aisles are neat and wide and most items are always in stock.My problem is with the checkout experience. Cashiers are always in short supply. This morning they had NO CASHIERS to check out customers. The self serve area was open with one poor cashier trying to keep everybody happy. She apologized and said the other cashier had called in sick. Hubby & I had a cart full and had to try to balance items on a tiny scale area while machine kept stalling. We had to wait til she helped 6 other check out areas before she could get to us. I felt so sorry for her!!My suggestions: always have backup cashier(s) on hand. (Especially during senior shopping hours when you know that seniors dont like to use modern technology) Look into converting one of your lanes into a conveyor belt self serve lane to accommodate those with large orders.

Pharmacy techs continues to screw up the prescriptions and is incapable of following simple directions.

The lady that answers the customer service calls has major attitude when asked a question. She’s rude with her answers and their pick ups take a long time of waiting and half of the things I bought weren’t even given to me.

We ordered a cake here and it was perfect. Very impressed how it turned out.

Deli is the worse employees ever waited 25mins for help while they work on to go orders so I guess hell with walk in customers never shop there again need to close to walk in just cater to orders pos

This is where we do all of our grocery shopping. All employees wear masks, you can see I them cleaning and disenfecting all around the store. Helpful employees asking if you are finding what you want. The shelves are kept decently stocked.

Ive been doing curbside grocery pick upsup before the pandemic and Lapeer Kroger has, BY FAR, the best curbside service. My one grip is my produce is usually hit or miss, even when leaving specific guidance. However, Im kinda picky and at this point, I assume the risk. TIP YOUR CAR HOP!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Sushi! I havent had anything that I do not like yet. The bakery and produce sections are both very good. This particular Kroger also has one of the biggest coffee selections when compared to other Krogers. If you prefer beans and like a good selection, this is the Kroger for you!

Party pails of ice cream have been change to vivid. I have bought party time for years. This new pail isn’t even close to the same. New taste like ice milk won’t be buying it anymore guess I have to try Myers or Walmart. I guess it’s all about the whole mighty dollar. Why change product just raise the price I would of paid more. Also Kroger’s peaches canned in china. Where is the locality. China??? $$$ money and profit has ruin other businesses hope Kroger wakes up

The go too grocery store in Lapeer. Always friendly and accomodating; excellent rewards program. I love the bakery and their cakes for special occasions. Love to shop here to get just groceries. Helps me stay focused and not overspend.

Krogers is a great supermarket for your shopping needs. Prices are reasonable and the store is well stocked every time Ive been there. I also like their gas station to fill up. Their prices are usually the cheapest in town. Plus after shopping for groceries, you now get money off your gas!!! That is an excellent and welcome bonus. I would very much recommend Kroger for your grocery shopping needs.

This is an okay location, but could stand to be twice as large as products and shoppers feel crammed in. Its clean, though not spotless. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. For the most part, sale items are in stock and cashiers can provide rain checks when they are not.Produce is good and they have a nice wine and beer section. Kroger stores carry a nice selection of gourmet food products that cannot be found at other local grocery stores.The parking lot is a little odd as it is on a slope.

This location is actually pretty good and has really nice employees. Id almost give them a 5star rating, but their produce can be a bit on the iffy side, at times. Like today I was looking at their cherries that were on sale and I didnt see a single bag that I thought was good enough to get. :/ Other than that theyre good.

This store was laid out really well. I picked up a sushi from the stand and he accidentally gave me the wrong one, because they were just finishing a batch. He came and found me as I moved on in the store and gave me the right one and took the one I was carrying.

This place has a more intimate feel to it than some of the other, larger grocery stores. I frequent them all but I find Kroger to be a bit more relaxing to shop at. The recent renovations are a welcome change and the sushi bar was quite good when we tried it!

I work at another grocery store, but will only grocery shop at Kroger. Better prices, better quality meats and produce. LOVE the curbside pickup as well!

Very clean grocery store with a great variety. Their fruit and veggie selection is one of the best in Lapeer. Everyone is helpful and accommodating. They open lines during busy times so you dont have a long wait in checkout.

Nice area store. Nice variety of items, although disappointed that there werent any chop sticks or sushi bamboo mats available. Employees are very attentive and friendly. It was easy and fast to check out. A wonderful shopping experience, much better than dealing with the understaffed and chaotic Walmarts.

The employees are pleasant and I love the fuel point system: Spend a dollar, earn a point. For every 100 points earned you get 10 cents off per gallon of gas. Very rewarding! 😊

Went shopping at store drove 20 minutes home and notice one of my bags missing. I had to drive 20 minutes back. The lady at customer service went to a shopping cart full of bags of groceries and said she didnt see mine. She never checked my receipt or checked the people at the registers. She did go to some more bags of groceries sitting against the wall in front of the registers before coming back and telling me to just go get my item. I cannot believe that a store that pays people to put groceries in the customers cart is ripping people off so badly.

Starting to get really expensive to shop here. I went in to buy a few items. A head of lettuce two apples a package of bacon bits a package of salad dressing a container of drink mix and three 2L bottles of Coke. Ended up costing me almost $20. I think Ill just stick to shopping at Walmart

I like Krogers because its not a superstore, where you have to do a marathon to grocery shop. They have a fairly decent variety of products and you can get in and out relatively quick. Prices are comparable, (could always be less). Overall, its a good store, staff are competent and friendly.

The cashier was super friendly and kind. Good prices. Fast and easy to get in and out.

If youre going to this store with a debit card and want to run it as credit and sign the receipt.. you dont have that option. Their security system is cheap. If you want to have them put a card into the system as in, type it in to the computer, they cant do it. So for the people who have business debit cards but dont know the pin, this place wont accept that, waste of time.

When checking out I purchased stamps. Paid for my groceries including stamps, cashier did not have stamps in her register. She said to go to service counter, there was long line and I did not have time. A bagger said to go to another cashier, after waiting in line this cashier also did not have stamps. Another cashier told them they would need to give me my money back and I would need to go to service counter to make purchase. Three cashiers were chatting with each other, they were not busy, maybe they should have went to service counter and obtained the stamps for me, the customer. They returned my $10 for stamps and I left. Poor customer skills Kroger.

Not thrilled to see a dog walking around in there. Just like walmart,let them in walking around an also in the carts. LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME. Sick of hearing its a comfort dog whatever people.

No matter what time of year you go to this store, it is cold. The last time I went there, they were unpacking boxes on a Monday morning, and blocked every aisle we tried to go down. So, we finally left. We simply couldnt get around. They used to stock shelves at night. This place also used to have a whole row of amigos for the elderly and handicapped. The last time I went there, there was one, and it was dead. Today, there were three, and they were all dead. The store has went downhill in the last few months. Too bad. I used to like to go there. Now, I go to Davison.

Kroger is by far my go to store whenever I need to get good produce. They have the best prices and freshest (IMO).

Love their specials.. when they dont have an item they will match it with the equivalent product for the same price ... do cashiers have issues with doing separate transactions but still a good place to shop

I just moved here so I wasnt aware this location didnt have a separate section for holistic/organic foods(like most Kroger stores I have been to have) so when I asked where the section for holistic/organic foods was, I was a little offended when the employee asked me whats that? Oh healthy food, its everywhere and laughed... So i figured out its the green signs...Also I wasnt aware they turned the lights off in the cold and freezer cases at 11pm. It was difficult to see alot of the items so I ended up leaving without some or the stuff I wanted.Ill just stick with meijers from now on after that experience.

My sisters boyfriend applied there last week and was hired. He then was fired because none of the cashiers felt comfortable working with him. Let me just tell you this kid is the nicest fella out there. Really respectful, reserved, and helpful. The girls didnt like the way he looked. He has long hair and is tall. It can be intimidating at first but hes truly the nicest person youll meet once YOU GIVE A CHANCE to get to know him. I found this to be very discriminating and awful. Fired on his looks and presence.

The produce was very nice, the bakery, sushi counter, deli counter were also pretty impressive. The store was clean and well lit, and the associates were helpful.

Not sure the ladies name, because frankly I was there for less than a minute, but whoever you had running the Customer Service counter Tuesday May 7th, 2019 between 1pm and 9pm (when I was there and she said she was leaving) is a heartless lying bitch. As an employee from another Kroger who has gotten their check cashed at Kroger stores other than the one I work at without ANY issue, she straight up lied to my face about it being against corporate policy to cash checks for employees other than their store. I KNOW THAT YOU LIED TO ME. I TOLD YOU I HAD NO Money, NO GAS, and JUST needed my OFFICAL KROGER CHECK cashed, but if it mean not doing anything else you were okay LYING to not only a customer, but an employee who can call you on your BULLSHIT. Thanks for being the worst customer service, worst Kroger ever.

I am really comfortable with this particular store! The employees help me thoughout the store, as Im disabled. The store has excellent dairy products thoughout the dairy and frozen isles as Kroger has a specific dairy. The other chains in Lapeer depend pretty much on other dairies farms. The facility is extremely clean. Freedom of movement in the isles. Parking is generous and the location is very assessable, too.

If you dont understand the pricing that you thought it should be try talking to the manager Kyle very helpful in a nice person

Produce section has gotten MUCH better since the remodel and i love the variety of fresh and bulk foods! I especially love the variety of organic products.

They just remodeled and added a sushi bar :) the deli is awesome, they now have a fantastic meat department with butchers and a nice selection of fresh cut meat, the produce dept carries more varieties of fresh organic and non-organic fruits and veggies, and the staff are always very friendly.

Great Friday and Saturday deals with digital coupons on your Kroger Plus Card. Always find great sales from weekly flyer.

Staff is friendly...with exception of Adele and Erik. They need to be re-trained in customer service. Almost quit shopping there because of those two with bad attitudes. Fuel points are nice.

Dont do delivery. Waiting 6 plus hours after a $300 dollar delivery order and still no groceries.

This Kroger store has many plus points so I hesitate giving a less than glowing review. I always go to Kroger for meats. I like the discount you get with the savings card. However two days ago I bought a watermelon that was on sale for $2 less than the regular price. It was half spoiled and I could not use it and threw it out. I can forgive a store for one mistake, but when I called them to warn them that the watermelon was spoiled and they should not sell any more of them, the produce manager said he was surprised because he had tested a few and only found a few that were bad. I might not be remembering his exact words, but I strongly suggested that a customer might not like the idea that there was a 10 - 20% chance the item they were buying was unusable. I called back to talk to the managers and all they would say was I could bring it back and get my money back. That was not the point. I had planned on giving watermelon to my family and could not. I just wanted them to avoid having more unhappy customers in the same sorry situation.

Ive NEVER been to a worse kroger in my life. The lady that sliced our salami was soooooo RUDE. Like we were a pain in the ass. Like really lady. Its your JOB. then the self check out guy was suppose to come help us...20 minutes later we put everything else back in the cart and took it back to regular register. Then SHE was rude and talking with all the other workers instead of helping us. Im NEVER going there again.
