They got me in quickly and it didnt take them long to change my oil. There are coupons online, use them! One thing we did not appreciate was they told us that we definitely needed some other work done that when we took it to another shop they said that we definitely did not need to replace those certain parts. It seems they always say something needs fixed that doesnt. But, the people were nice and the oil change was quick.

My daughter went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The bill was 180? Really. The unfortunate part is I own a SpeeDee service center in CA and this is 75 more than we would charge. Rip Off ! No longer will we be going there for ANYTHING. I’m checking the brakes, air filter and coolant that were also services they wanted her to do. The coolant service, brakes and air filter were done within the past 25k

Considering I was trying to get a much needed oil change in between my husbands cancer treatments, I was treated like royalty and this crew is so very professional. In and out far more quicker than I thought possible. Bravo. I will be back for other services as well

Do not bother with an appointment or believing their times. Made an appointment for 11AM. When I showed up, I was told that it would be an additional hour because the manager does not turn anyone way even if they are fully booked.I understand trying to make money but then do not offer appointment time slots if the business is unable to honor it.

Pulled in to use the car wash. Went in to ask about chips in our new windshield. Guys fixed two chips and gave us inside tips on local lakes and navigating Yellowstone. Too nice. Over the top service. Thank you.

Nice to be able to make appointments online so that you dont have to drive there and not know how long you have to wait. Its the kind of business where they try to sell you things sometimes that you dont need... But if you can get over that its an okay place to get a quick oil change.

Go to grease monkey if you want to be charged %100 over quoted amount. I asked for my truck to have a fuel service done with my supplies filters and they said no problem $79 with your filters or ours. I said ok (what a rip off but ok) in the end they charged me $175 because there was 2 filter done in the 1/2 hour service with my supplied filters. Shady business, they are not honest. As I waited I saw them charge people for gallons of coolant for 5 seconds of pumping.

I needed an oil change while on vacation. This place got me in right away and we were back on the road in no time. Fast and friendly service. I would recommend their service to anyone.

I was driving I-80 across Wyoming when I heard my car making a bit of an odd noise, like a piece of loose trim flapping around. When I got to Laramie, I discovered that a plastic trim piece that holds the fuel lines up against the body of the car had come loose, and the fuel lines were hanging loose. I tried to fix it in a parking lot, but couldnt get under the car enough to do it.I drove across the street to Grease Monkey and explained the situation. They didnt make any promises, but told me theyd take a look at it. They pulled my car in and had it fixed in about 5 minutes. Best of all, they didnt charge me anything.

Checked out my car and determined that it just needed a reset, and sent me happily on my way.

The oil change was good, and the people working in the shop were friendly. The supervisor inside taking the payments and operating the point of sales was unprofessional and rude.

They are quick, efficient and incredibly friendly. They have won my business for every oil change here on out!

They may have been quick but the quality of work was horrendous for the price. They under-filled my oil by a quart and a half. Synthetic oil was put in and after 2000 miles it is BLACK. I have never had a problem with oil in my car previously but because of how poorly things looked I had to change my oil sooner than it should have been. They didn’t grease anything and the filter was put on so tight it took a miracle to get it off. They were also not transparent of their pricing and took advantage of my lack of knowledge on the type of oil my car takes so what should have been a 35$ service ended up being 100$.

For 80 dollars you think theyd top off all the fluids and check tire pressure, but seems they now charge for that, service sure has gone down hill

Way overpriced, $103.00 for 4.5 quarts of oil and filter. Go to Walmart next time same 0W-20 Mobil One is $22.00 for 5 quart jug.

Came in on a Friday afternoon due to some grinding on my front end. Needed new brake pads and rotors, Jordan provided excellent service and made sure to communicate with me during the process. It took some time for them to do it, but gave me a free car wash for waiting! Definitely use this location for friendly and professional service. Thanks again!

These guys saved me, i got an oil change at a Jiffy Lube in Utah the morning of a small, 28 hour drive across the country to East Tennessee. Lo and behold, after about 6 hours of driving, a few miles from Laramie, WY, the lovely oil level light popped up on my dash. I pulled into this shop mere minutes before closing and explained my situation; they took my car back, topped me off (for free, bless their hearts, good karma coming their way), made sure all drain plugs etc. weren’t leaking, ensured the dash light went off, and sent me on my way. So friendly and quick!! Thank you guys!!

Quick and easy oil change. They did not reset the oil life on the car. I specifically asked them if tire air would be topped off with colder temps and they said yes that was part of their service. After getting back and checking tire pressure it was still the same - they did not do this.

When in early in the morning to get my truck greased they got it right in 20 minutes later I was on the road again and at no charge very friendly and efficient people

I got the oil changed on my car today at Grease Monkey. The oil change itself was quick, however it took quite some time for them to get around to it which left we waiting a while for them to even ask what I was looking for. They did not ask me what kind of oil I was wanting in my car nor any further details. In addition, I was emailing with them yesterday and they told me they they would be able to do a coolant flush for my car make/model and that they had the coolant on hand as well. When I got there, they informed me that they neither had the coolant and they could not do it on my car make/model. The biggest downside of my experience is that they charged me over $100 for just an oil change, which was all I requested to have done. The workers were polite, but I would not go there again.EDIT: The employee I was emailing with about the coolant sent me an apology and offered to do my next oil change for free. This is the way business should be done - acknowledging when a mistake has been made, and making it right. Other companies should look to this as a model of how to treat customers, as this was a very kind move on their part. I do not hesitate in changing my review and giving a five star review.

Update: the owner reached out today and apologized both for my experience and for the way I was treated. Instead of offering a refund or future credit, he sent a generous gift card to a local restaurant with the understanding that I may not want to return to Grease Monkey. While he is correct about me not returning to the car wash, his response was heartening and we may consider them for an oil change or such.Today, around 5pm, I (and my 2 young children) drove in the automated car wash at Grease Monkey and the bay doors closed and we got the car washed and then went to pull out and the door wouldn’t open! We were trapped inside! I called the number on the board (multiple times!) for the shop and no answer and even tried the after hours number with no answer! I finally called my husband and he came over and everyone was gone! So then he called dispatch who almost immediately got an answer and then about 10-15 minutes later a guy shows up and I roll down the window and he says “you just have to pull the cord here” and start pulling up the door! He didn’t ask how we were, nothing! Then I ask if he can put up a sign about it and he says “oh no that’s not allowed.” I just stared at him and then he adds that this happens every few days. 🤯🤯🤬🤬 My husband even asked him about it and said how would I know that?! How would my wife, who’s trapped in there, know that? And the guy just shrugged it off! I was so close to having a panic attack and won’t be able to go into a car wash for who knows how long!

Most expensive oil change Ive ever received even from an in and out place. I forgot my mask and wasnt even allowed to sit in MY CAR without one . They finally offered me one after Id been sitting outside for a bit with freezing temps.

I took my car in to get a simple oil change before I drove 300 miles home for winter break. About a week ago I go to my local place to get my tires and oil changed (I go by mileage for my oil changes since I don’t drive much on campus or when I am home, just long hauls), and they tell me that whoever changed my oil last shoved the pin so far into the oil pan that they physically couldn’t take it out to change the oil and that they would have to replace the whole pan. So I guess what I’m saying is, I asked for a simple job and ended up paying about $500 to fix the issue that they caused and didn’t even bother telling me about. I don’t know if this was just poor oversight or if they were hoping to get more from me in the future, but it’s guaranteed I’ll never go back.

Came here for an oil change and they got me in the docket quickly. The office was clean and quiet and they let me work there as I waited for my car. They also let me use an expired coupon for a cheaper oil change.

I cannot comment on the shop, but the place as a whole is clean and the staff seems to know what they are doing.The self service car wash is what I used, and while it is a little pricey per minute, I was able to get a 1200 mile road trip worth of bugs and grime off my truck with relative ease.

Not only did these people not check the specs on my car BEFORE draining my oil pan, they then realized they don’t carry my oil and filled my car with the WRONG oil and basically told me good luck and that I needed to drive an hour away to a dealership with that wrong oil in my car. I get it to Cheyenne to my mechanic, only to discover they stripped my oil plug and the car was leaking oil. I called the corporate number, was told this location is a franchise, so the representative supposedly emailed the owner who then never reached out to me. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Went to get a Transmission fluid exchange on my vehicle. They pulled it into the shop, then after about 5 minutes told me they wouldnt do service on my Jeep because it has too high of mileage.I just moved to Laramie from another part of Wyoming, but now I know where not to go for any services.Pending how they did on my personal vehicle was going to determine whether or not Id be getting regular services done there on my other vehicles. But they lost that business opportunity.So unless you have a new vehicle, with less than 150k miles, youre probably better off going elsewhere, or doing your service yourself.###In reply to the response received.That same day I was able to get my transmission fluid and filter changed with no issues at another shop. It cost me a little more than what I was quoted by you, but I wasnt flat out denied service. The issue with grease monkey is that even when I asked about regular oil changes ect I was also told no because of the high mileage.

I couldn’t get my air filter changed due to lack of inventory. I also payed WAY more than the competitors.On top of this less than impressive service, they don’t offer free car washes with lube service.Technicians seem to have a lack of knowledge when it comes to things other than lube; I.e. brakes, steering, and/or ventilation.

I have never had a bad experience BUT my friend did have a nut not tightened enough after an oil change and lost all of his oil and seized up his engine.

Update: Manager did get ahold of me to promptly apologize & provide compensation.Got an oil change & a drive speed handle was left under the hood. 2 weeks later, this tool worked itself up between my windshield and hood. Should I have to check my car for tools like you check your body for scalpels after surgery? No! Mad at how careless & dangerous this was, especially when the oil change costs as much as a dealership and does not include a car wash.

Doing a two week road trip and stopped through for a quick oil change. The staff was helpful and made me aware of a couple other issues that might be needed. They weren’t pushy about anything. I ended up getting a new air filter as I’d been having AC quirks on the trip.Overall fast service and knowledgeable staff, I left feeling ready for the rest of the trip.

Grease monkey is amazing car wash. They have manual car wash with spot free finish for sensitive cars, as well as drive through for those short on time. Car wash was great at getting difficult snow dirt off and gentleman was super helpful. They are open 24 hours a day and were a great blessing to me.

They correctly identified the MB 229.5 spec oil that was required for my Mercedes Benz. They were knowledgeable about the work they did and knew what not to do to my vehicle due to the special requirements in some of its subsystems.

They are extremely fast, the prices are reasonable, and their hours of operation allow me to fit the oil change into my schedule. Also, their customer service it great! You guys rock!

I live in Denver and had to make a quick stop to get an oil change in Laramie because when I left the city nothing was open. I felt so welcome and everyone was so nice! They did my oil change and recommended some extras, which I turned down, and they were not even pushy about it. One of the employees was very honest and the other so nice and easy to talk to . After calling around for brake pad replacement, these guys charge $250 versus their competitors who charge almost half that.They also think they are being clever with coupons, they charge higher and give great coupons to make the buyer think they are receiving a deal.UNLESS YOU WANNA PAY 100 DOLLARS EXTRA, AVOID THIS PLACE

I went to the Laramie location a few months ago for the first time. I thought I needed brakes in addition to a regular oil change. They showed me that, in fact, my brakes were fine. I was so impressed that they didn’t see me as a female they could take advantage of...fast forward to today. I went in knowing I needed my oil changed but also knew I had another issue. They diagnosed the problem and said they could fix it. Unfortunately, because I had just paid $600 for tires, I wasn’t prepared to spend a small fortune more. They worked with me and fixed the problem within a budget I could manage. That was great but while I was waiting, another woman came in to get her oil changed. She was an older woman and made it clear that all she could afford was an oil change. After they looked at her vehicle, they came to the conclusion that she didn’t even need an oil change. They brought in the dip stick to show her that her oil level was fine and the oil was “clean”. They also showed her the mileage for the last time she brought her vehicle in and by her current mileage, her car wasn’t due yet. Bravo guys! As a female, I can tell you that the stress of worrying about getting taken to the cleaners when it comes to car maintenance and repair is a real concern, but not with Grease Monkey of Laramie. You have my loyalty for as long as I live in a region that finds me in Laramie on a regular basis. Exceeded expectations. They offered me a free drink, didnt have my filter but they got it right away, gave me a first time discount and they have a cool timer on the wall so you can see how long they take. Nicest oil change shop I have been to.

I brought my car here for an oil change, and was extremely pleased with the service. Not only was my oil changed, but my windshield washing fluid was filled, my tires were filled, and my car came back to me smelling clean (Im not sure if they actually cleaned it or had a very clean person sitting in it for a few minutes, but it was nice either way).And I didnt see any charges other than the oil change, which was exactly the amount listed on all of their resources. I was also pleased by the friendly and quick customer service, which had my car in in minutes and out in less than an hour.5/5 would recommend.
