I always find what Im looking for. Recently I found KN95 masks after scouring all pharmacies and Walmart. Right now, construction is annoying, but employees are right there to help navigate the project. Employees are all friendly, helpful, and wear masks.

What every hardware store should be. Friendly knowledgeable staff at every turn, and free popcorn. Well stocked, clean, full service.

This was a good experience. We found what we needed inside the store with help from service personnel and then they loaded mulch into our truck very efficiently. The price is a little higher than at other garden shops in big box stores but the service balances it out nicely.

They helped us move our trailer load free of charge and were very very professional. Great people.

Good service. You walk in and there is someone to help you find what you need. Only problem is that once they show you and you tell them thank you and you want to discuss with wife about what we should get and stuff you got another person right behind you asking what they can help you with. Yes that is good but over helping and lingering seems to much my wife felt like they were thinking we were or had stole something as much as when one clerk helped with in a minute or two another one is there after being helped she just felt uncomfortable so we left

Found what we needed here. Service personnel were over the top helpful, and they loaded our truck for us.

Good prompt service and help when needed

First I look at the masks and I see that everyone who works at Ace wears them! Albany county needs that right now. Then I think about how super helpful and knowledgeable everyone is who works at Ace. and inevitably I go in there for one thing and find four other things I didnt even think they had or that I needed and I dont shop a lot so thats kind of nice! I got an excellent deal on paint, picked up a couple bags of tulip bulbs because spring will arrive, a gorgeous, huge round chrysanthemum plant for $10 to get me through until spring, and also some things I needed to do some maintenance and upkeep around the ranch. And I could tell that the staff was smiling behind those masks. I really like shopping at Ace!

There was a time when the only reason to go to Ace was the customer service. On the last 17 occasions I have gone there in the last six months, not a single employee has greeted me or asked if they could help with anything. This morning I went there to get some electrical boxes. A 4inch Raco electrical box (1 gang) was $2.99. The box cover was also $2.99. Out of curiosity, I looked up the prices on HD and Lowes. The box is $1.02 and the cover $0.63.This is not an isolated incident. Prices are Ace have always been through the roof. To put it mildly, it is a complete rip off. There is no reason to shop at this establishment any longer.

I love this Ace Hardware store, mainly for the garden section. It has such a wide variety of annuals. And the yard decorations are so fun! The hardware section is full of supplies, and so far, has always had what I was looking for.

Not your typical Ace. This is an old-school hardware store with a huge selection, very helpful staff.

One the more expensive hardware stores for sure, but they always seem to have what I need.

Ace is ok. They always have a lot of staff on hand, but they always seem to be busy talking to each other. I feel like everything here is overpriced too. Also employees stare at my service dog which is uncomfortable for me.

Find a staffer and pester them to help you, dont just wait at the key counter thinking someone will man it eventually. Remember that ACE is more expensive because the theory is they hire more staff to help you.

Locate a store where we could purchase the generator we were looking for and she asked other employees for help in locating the furniture connectors... The .out helpful staff I can remember

I love this little shop! The people here are really friendly, the store, while confusing, is well laid out, so when you do find what row youre to be looking in, it doesnt take an hour to find which item you need. We can run in and out very fast, get an employee to point us in the right direction, pay and be out of there in just a few minutes. We rarely wait in line, or even wait for help. Theyre happy to cut things to length for you too if you need that, just one more nice thing about them that doesnt make me have to drive to cheyenne to find a box store!

I go into Ace on a regular basis, the employees are always friendly, very helpful, and extremely courteous. I am able to get help quickly and fined just what I need, and if they do not have it they are always willing to order it from there warehouse. Getting my order is no problem either, it only take a couple of days! I will go back to Ace any time.

Prices are high but always great customer service.

Had all the tools I needed for my weekend project and off road travels. Some items may be a bit expensive, but they will have almost everything home and garden you would need. Also its still nicer than giving wal-mart your money.

I started my business 6 months ago and the business I elected to buy my supplies from was Ace Hardware In Laramie. From the very beginning I received top notch customer service. No one ever pretended to know something they didnt and if they did not know the answer, they found it for me. In few areas their prices are a little higher, but for the excellent customer service I receive, it is WELL worth it.

Went into the store because I needed a hole drilled through the pot bases I bought a day prior. As they have done things like this before I figured it was no problem. Told the worker that if they break its OK because I will just buy new ones. So he went and started drilling. 10 min later he came back out telling me management yelled at him for doing this. Now I have a pot base with half a hole drilled through it.

I have been shopping at ACE Hardware for almost 30 years. On a few occasions I have been disappointed in their Customer Service but nothing has left me as frustrated, confused and angry as my visit today.Everything was going well until I went to checkout. The young cashier had finished scanning my items and asked if I would like to round up 59 cents for charity? I said that would be fine and then she asked if I was interested in free Cheyenne Days concert tickets. She explained that all I needed to do was spend another 59 cents to qualify for the tickets so I purchased two small bags of candy. After the new items were added to my trans action the young woman announced that the need for the additional items changed the transaction total and now I needed to add yet another $8 to my purchase. Im looking at the Customer transaction screen and her statement did not match what I was looking at.When her Supervisor brought the free tickets to the counter she pointed out that what the screen shows on the customer side is actually not the same as what the Cashier sees. Im very frustrated with todays business models. The way things are setup the Customer is misled and made to feel pretty stupid.Granted, after I had been totally misled and embarrassed because I was holding others up by questioning this business model. I had left the building and as my Caregiver returned the shopping cart someone handed her 2 free tickets for the concert. However, the damage has already been done.I hope ACE Hardware takes a really good look at their store policies and the Customers transaction screen so what the Customer sees is labeled appropriately and matches what the Cashier is seeing.I try to support local businesses because I know how hard Small Businesses have to work to compete with the Internet and Walmart. I was raised in a small family owned business. I also know that good Customer Service is the best foundation of any Successful Business.My interaction with ACE Hardware today was just the first of three negative Customer Service encounters in Laramies Business environment. The other two were just as frustrating as the one at ACE.My Caregiver and I stopped at Safeway for a few groceries. When we got to the checkouts there were 2 Registers with actual people running them. Of course the Self-service registers are all open but Im old, Im disabled and I dont trust the self-service registers. Ive watched people be arrested because the machine did not record every item that was scanned. If you dont know the right timing or scanning action the machine tells you to remove the unscanned item and when you remove the item the machine tells you to put it back and this goes around and around and around with no way to continue until someone arrives to reset the machine. Its time consuming, its frustrating and irritating and I will NOT spend 30 minutes trying to purchase 3 items because a Corporation puts profit over Customer Service. Walmart is just as bad if not worse than ACE and Safeway when it comes to Customer Service.Walmart, like ACE and Safeway are all Big Business. The big profits of these three businesses do not stay in Laramie. They go to corporate offices in other states.So, ACE be careful what you ask for. You wanted a review - now that you have a review be careful what you wish for. The answer may not be what you want it to be.

This is my go-to hardware store in Laramie. They have a friendly staff and a wide range of hardware items, an excellent key cutti g service plus gardening supplies and plants.

The customer service here is unlike any other. An employee offered to carry my item up front, held it wile waiting in line for me, and offered to help me out to my car!
