At the Largo Fl facility found all staff kind and caring about their work. Had a full front break job done and they work now perfectly. Prices are typical. I also bought a new tire that I needed. The inspection of all wheels was also thorough. Would recommend you get a full estimate including tax after finale inspection before approving the work. That was my bad. All work that I had completed was necessary. My family ran a full service station for forty years so I am well acquainted with this type of work. Great staff. Carrie the front end person was just great.

Stunned ! Excellent service! I need to mention the staff at this location. Timur the Manager, Brad the tire tech, and Luke the alignment tech. I picked up a large bolt in my tire and took my vehicle in to be repaired. Unfortunately the bolt was located in the shoulder of the tire and needed to be replaced. Timur called us with the news and instead of trying to sell us a new tire from his business he told us that we should have a warranty from the place we bought it . He was right! They were going to put the donut on for us but the leak was slow so they put the old tire back on and filled it. No charge... WHAT ???!!!! Im so glad that we went to this location. They were professional, courteous, patient and funny. Thank you again for your diagnosis and generosity!

There was no wait, they were fast and efficient and they didn’t stop looking until they found the very small hole that was leaking air. Patched it right up. Mavis Discount Tires is amazing! I have been here a couple times and they always do a great job. I had a tire mount and balance done on my car where most places put it on backwards, Mavis was able to properly mount it the right way the first time. Will be coming back for all tire related issues!

I had a few problems with the location. I had made an appointment for about a week out, and was told they had my tires in stock, but turns out they only had three. They had someone deliver it to the location, which I guess was nice, but it added an extra hour to the total time. There seemed to be a disconnect with staff telling me I can get a certain discount, and what is actually allowed. Tires are fine and service was good. Avana was the best person there, very helpful.

Super professional and transparent. Went in a two leaking tires and had an online appointment. Got right in within 5 minutes. The tech took his time being extremely thorough and making sure he found the source of the problem and fixed both wheels. The valve stems were the issue. About 2 months ago I took my Jeep into the Missouri Ave in Largo, Fl for a alignment, brake check and shock check. I was there about a hour and my first impression with the guy taking care of customers was pleasant. He was freindly, had me taken care of and on my way in one hour. A few days later I was driving down the road at about 35 mph when suddenly there was extreme vibration, I veered into the median to my left and before I knew it my driver side front wheel and tire completely flew off and my Jeep drug into the median another 20 feet and my tire going another 150 feet. This was a extremely scary situation ESP. Since 5 min. Before I was going 60 down the highway. Since the last and only people to touch the steering or wheels on my vehicle was Mavis I immediately called after I called a tow truck and explained the situation. After remembering who I was, the manager recalled me as the rust bucket and his attitude went from freindly to rude . They oddly enough couldnt find my work order, did not want me coming to the shop and basically tried sweeping it under the rug and would not help AT ALL. I called corporate multiple times and NEVER received a call back to offer repairs, a apology, or a solution of a y kind whatsoever. These people were the only people to ever touch my wheels and days after they did one came off. It could have been so much worse yet then and now I have multiple issues with the axle, brakes steering and more. I cannot afford what a corporation could have easily rectified and had a customer who felt taken care of. Now Im in a situation where my only mode of transportation is having many issues due to this companies direct negligence. Because of covid-19 I am out of work and absolutely need ny vehicle running yet here is another example of a corporation not caring about the customers they claim to value. If you value your safety and hard earned property, take your car to a family owned shop who truly will care and take care of you. Never again will I come back to any Mavis and I will make sure as many people as possible dont either. Stay safe and stay away from Mavis! Ps not to mention since they inspected my shocks and brakes you think they would have noticed the rear shocks were completely shot, the bushings completely gone, and rotors warped and brake pads nearly gone. Horrible work.

I have not done many Google reviews in the past but felt compelled to leave one due to the professionalism over at Mavis on Missouri Avenue.Unfortunately, I got a couple nails in my tire and brought the car over to Mavis. The mechanic John met me out of my car and was very friendly and professional. He had recommended that I replace the tires since they were over 6 years old. But even though he recommended it he did not push me like a salesman to do it. I did decide to change the tires though due to trouble spots he showed me on the tires.The assistant manager Mark got me in quickly to get the job done. The tire tech Emmanuel wasted no time.The job was finished over a half an hour earlier than they told me and the other assistant manager on the staff Avana came out with a colored graph showing how the car passed with flying colors with the alignment test that it was not necessary. So it was taken off of the bill. They could have easily charged me for that and I would have had no idea if it really needed the alignment or not.I brought my girlfriends car over there many times and felt very comfortable. Theres plenty of car mechanics that are shady to say the least. If youre looking for great work, honesty, professionalism and friendliness I would highly recommend going to Mavis on Missouri Ave in Largo !

Have been coming here for a couple of years and have always had great service.They always keep my tires at the right pressure and when I need something done get me in quick. Prices are good for the area. Now my granddaughter comes here too. It is nice to have a good place you can go to and not worry about being ripped.

Got my brakes fixed here after calling around the area. They had the best price. The customer service number that is on Google isnt in-store when you call and was absolutely sub-par, never getting back to us, putting us in a tight spot. But, IN-store, their customer service is top notch and very reassuring after our rough start. The brakes we got are great and the managers are super helpful. Definitely try to get their in-store number instead of whats posted and youre going to have a fantastic time.

I will go back in a minute, they took care of me when Tire Kingdom on Ulmerton road was booked through Thursday. When you have a tire loosing air for about 3 weeks and you have to continously put air in it and and finally had the time to get it looked at, Mavis Tire took care of me. No more Tire Kingdom for me. I heard my car start to make noise after another shop changed out my wheel hubs, so I took it to Mavis store 814 after I got out of work. They found that the other shop failed to put in a retaining clip, and this caused MASSIVE damage to the brakes I had just replaced not two weeks prior, as well as damage to the CV axles. The brake damage was so bad, the left rotor was torn and the right was scored. When I asked if it was safe to drive home, the manager, Will, advised against it due to the severity, and I agreed to have that taken care of immediately. Everyone was extremely compassionate and more concerned about my safety in getting home that night then they were about how late it was, as it was about 4:15 when I walked in the door. Had to be the worlds fastest brake job ever. Im so thankful for people that actually care about their customers safety, especially now, because you dont come across that very often. I am definitely going back (and have, to have the damaged axles replaced the next day), and will continue to bring my car to this location. Thank you guys!

Mavis Tire & Brakes on Missouri Avenue in Largo, Florida did an outstanding job on my Dodge Ram one ton. They ordered the correct E-rated, 10 ply tires, mounted and balanced them and did a front-end alignment. Sara in the front office is friendly, courteous and easy to work with. The technician put heavy duty valve stems in the rims. They did excellent work at a fair price. I recommend them and I will return. Top notch business.

The next day I got a nail in another tire and Mavis was closing in about five minutes!! I called the store and spoke to Will and he said come in and they will take care of it. Upon arrival, Will and Timur patched up my tire in 15 minutes and knowingly stayed late to take care of their customer. The employees at this location are professional and kind! I was referred to this location by my friend and it was an AMAZING experience!!!! It was exactly what my friend told me and more!! The manager Timur was amazing!!! I wanted to get his correct spelling of his name because he was just such a great help explained everything to me and showed me the problem that was going on with my car. Timur offered me a great deal and a helped me open up credit card that helped me out with the expenses of the work being done. I’m glad they have a credit card available. No need for appt. Will have to wait 2 hrs. At least. Took truck in for tires. Had them replaced Told me needed front brakes. Went to auto zone bought new pads. After put front end on jack stands brakes were 1/3 still good but had parts so replaced them. Noticed vibration in steering so thought might have lost a weight or tire belt separation. Only put 2K on vehicle. Since they put on tires. Know they tell me need upper & lower ball joints, tie rods & shocks in only 2k. Miles since last inspected ? Always get 2 estimates. If your a women no offence but get 3 estimates. Always better to check your reliable mechanic. My opinion only

I brought my truck up to location 814 I dropped my truck off at 11am yesterday morning and brought my own tires and wanted an alignment done I knew the job was big due to my truck being lifted and having aftermarket rims so I was fine with letting them keep it for a few hours I asked the manager how long it would be he told me 4pm and they will give me a call I called 3 times between 2:30pm and 3:30pm to see the status on my truck they told me they would have it done by 6 so I was a little frustrated cause I’m packing to go out of town around 6 I called them and they told me that there going to have to stay to get it done I was told to come up here around 9:00pm to pick up my truck and Fromm 11am to 9:00pm all they have done is 2 tires I sat and waited and didn’t leave till 10:30pm the manager said he is going to take the alignment off the ticket cause they didn’t have time to do it and I’m frustrated because I wanted the alignment done after the 4 tires so I didn’t ruin the tread with the all new 4 tires and I won’t be able to get the alignment done until about 2 weeks cause of work and I paid the full amount for mount and balance which was $171.16 I’m not the type to reach out to corporate but this situation is way out of proportion and lack of communication I would of much rather been told it can’t be done today then sit around and be getting my truck back at 10:30pm. I would absolutely not recommend going here. They will take work they can’t finish but tell you they can.

Had a flat and took it here for repair. They were honest about not being sure if they could fix since it was close to sidewall. Appointment was on time and had great customer service from a gentleman named Timur. When we came back, tire was fixed and ready. Met James who helped us and put the tire back in the car for us. I just want to thank Timur and Emanuel at the Mavis tire in largo fla..in a emergency had a damaged tire and it was close to closing...but Timur took great care of me and saved me because had to drive to Tampa in morning before any of stores were open!
