First class from start to finish! Came in looking for quartz countertops, spoke with Mitchell Walker and within 20 minutes I was out the door. He listened to me and showed me exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Installers also did a fabulous job, very professional and quartz was actually installed 4 days earlier than quoted. This was by far the best experience of my renovation.

I would highly recommend Granite City for countertop installation. My husband and I went there on a Saturday. We looked at the stone that they had on site and didnt see anything available that we liked. We went in the office and talked to the Director of Operations, Devon. We asked how far out they were to do an install and he said that they would have it completed by the end of the month (roughly 3 weeks) and it was completed before that. We picked out a slab from the Wholesaler that they work with and everything was efficient. He scheduled the template for a week from material choice and the install a week later. They were there when they said that they were going to be there and they did a great job with a somewhat difficult area (there is a raised alcove behind the sink). There was a problem with an alcove area behind the sink that was not templated for a backsplash and it looked really funny. The crew was back the first thing the following morning with a backsplash and adjusted it on the spot to match the curve of the elevated slab for a perfect fit. I couldnt be happier with the job that they did for my kitchen counter install.

How can a business get a five star rating when they make a mistake? What defines a five star company is when things go wrong. They own it and fix it! Before I even noticed a slight color discrepancy between the countertop and backsplash that I contracted for, Granite Citys installation crew pointed it out to me. The correction involved removing the countertop that was already installed, fabricating a new one, and reinstalling. They resolved everything the next day. We actually finished ahead of our original schedule. No hassles, no whining, no extra charge. This team is the best!

My contractor was impressed they cut and delivered my breakfast bar in one piece—meaning NO seams!!! The countertops are magnificent. The entire process was very easy & only took 1 week between measurement & installation. All around great job!

We used them for our countertop service 3 years ago it went ok. Recently we requested a larger sink which we were going to purchase, and asked if they could change it out. Well after visiting them I spoke with a person who said you dont have to buy the sink we can get it for you. I said ok, he then set up an appointment for the transfer to happen. The day came and was almost over . I called it was around 3:10 and asked when they might be coming out. I was told rudel that they probably were not coming. This is their busy time of the year. He then said maybe a couple of weeks out. I asked what date?? He responded well you probably should have a handyman do it.. It was rude and there was no customer service evident in the communication. The thing is this if you do not want to do the job or if you are too busy just apologize and advise it was too busy and possibly try back in a month or two. But to leave a customer hanging is just wrong. I called the next day and asked to speak to Sammie the owner. I was in luck as he answered the phone i explained, he apologized said he would come to to look at it. He did in fact come out but after measuring the sink they got for us he said it might need some trimming. He took the sink and said I am gonna put the template on it we will make it work. I will call you later. I thanked him. Well day came and went I called several times and he was not there. I left messages. Well here it is Monday and still no call and no return call. If you do not have a positive experience with the OWNER how can you want to do business with them.. My advice to all is Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware ) as my experience has left me with a negative experience of the customer service offered.

They have installed 3 condos kitchens & bathrooms on renovations. They installed one bathroom with a chip in the bathroom sink. They advised they have it on order. Another, where the kitchen sink had a gap on one end. They said all it needed was some caulking. I asked if that was OK Its taken care of was the response. Well it lasted awhile and then collapsed taking the pipes and disposal with it. They wouldnt respond ... BTW the sink is still on Order I think it will come in when cows fly. Do yourself a big favor and find another granite company. That does better than Mickey Mouse installations.

Im at about 1 in 10 CL service providers working out when they dont have a storefront or brick and mortar business. There is no accountability because they have nothing to lose if they screw up. You dont know anything about them, no license, no insurance, no ratings, no reviews, no address, no last name, no picture all adds up to no accountability.

Great install. Under budget and on time. Promised under 2 weeks from order to delivery and we went in on a Satuday and beautiful granite installed in 10 days as promised. Mitchell, excellent salesman sent us directly to warehouse where we found exactly what we wanted. Louis came out, did a layout in 50 minutes. Saturday we met with shop super Sam, to see the actual layout on the stone. Following Tuesday Moises and crew of 3 delivered, removed old tops installed new tops and sink in about 4 hours. I did plumbing myself. My wife is very happy.

Granite City did 100sf of granite in kitchen and bath. Fabrication fit and finish was perfect, and price was very competitive. Great friendly people all the way around - from office, to templater, to installers. Sam went out of his way to check the less than ideal slabs we had selected at a wholesale yard work (large spots we had to avoid). He was very accommodating in making it work. One of the best contractors we have dealt with in our extensive remodeling - Highly Recommend!

Everything was good with this company except for the installation. They put in my double sink masterbath countertop two years ago and it is perfect so of course I wanted them to do my kitchen. The two installers were genuinely exhausted when they started our job late afternoon on a Friday night. I have seams that are mismatched and the faucet hole is not round so I will need to caulk it. The tip guards for the dishwasher came loose within a week and I do not believe that any sealant was put on. Too bad. I was so excited and now I could care less.

Kitchen & 2 BathroomsAfter spending 3 days searching all over the Tampa/Clearwater area searching for that special Granite I had in mind for our Condo remodel in Clearwater Beach, I came across Granite City. Immediately I found a Slab of Granite I LOVED. Erin was so understanding, courteous, and professional. Our condo renovation has taken on a life of its own, being a out of town owner makes it that much more difficult. Erin and Devin, made this part of it so easy. They were so cooperative and understanding when my project kept getting delayed, not to any fault of theirs. When we were finally ready for the granite, there was a issue with the slab and Devin was not happy with how it was coming out. He called me and suggested a replacement, which he ordered, and said come down take a look at it, and if you dont like it pick out anything you like. Turns out, I loved his suggested replacement. The installation took place when I was not there, and my project manager said the install went great, they cleaned up their mess, and it looks beautiful. I agree, it looks exactly as I was wishing for. I should note that my husband is a contractor of similar products, pavers and concrete on Long Island, so we are extremely aware and sensitive to customer service as well as craftsmanship. Granite City is a A++ in our books. If they were on Long Island they would be referred to our customers for their granite needs. Highly recommend Erin and Devin.

Unfortunately I am not able to give this business one single star, I dont even know how to start telling you the horrendous experience Ive had with this people. I hired them to do the counters for my kitchen, on September 2,2017 I paid my deposit of almost five thousand dollars to the owner Sam, and we waited for the cabinet maker to finish my cabinets, and granted the cabinets did take longer than expected, what laid ahead of me with Granite city was more than a cruel nightmare, I called several times for them to come and do the installation, remember we started out in September and now is med December, and Ive been without a kitchen, had to cancel all of my Christmas entertainment do to the lack of a kitchen in my house, when they finally came to finish the job, they forgot some the pieces and one of them was not of proper size, so the owner assured me that they come the very next day to properly finish it and bring the missing piece, I missed work and waited and waited, I called and called and was always given the run around, I have never encountered people so unprofessional in my entire life, I made the mistake of giving him the full final payment and to this date my kitchen is not finished yet, I would have never given someone a bad review, but I honestly would hate for anyone to go through what Im going through with this company. The owner is a con artist and has not idea what professionalism is, I am emotionally and physically sicken by his actions, every time he finally gets on the phone, I feel that he is bulling me.

My dream kitchen has become a nightmare thanks to these guys. Their quality of work is just awful. Half of the job wasnt sealed right and my counters are stained beyond recognition. I had them back out twice to try and fix and the guy admitted the installers must have rushed the job. The problem now is stains wont go away. Not just little stains....huge stains. And just from WATER. They also patched a small crack with something that is one inch thick and it looks like I have a huge bandaid running right down the middle of my counter. Seriosly looks like a 3rd grader did this and even the worker who came out said he was surprised. Then there are swirl marks everywhere from where they buffed it and scratches that werent there when I bought slab. Its so bad I have to start all over with a new company. I called the owner Sam several times with no call back. Stay away

Not using the industry stands show on computer to bring two pieces of marble together. have unsightly seams. didnt even put a back splash seam in the right place. fabricators made decisions with out customers knowledge. all you get are excuses. ruined expensive marble material

I have done business with Granet City 4times since 2010 as recently as today Mar 22 2018 they deliver what they promise on time on budget at very reasonable prices. They are all very friendly and professional.

Not impressed. Didnt have much of a selection; prices were higher than home depot for same samples. They sent me to Mont Krest, their wholesalers warehouse which was a joke. Place is dripping with money, and although a large selection, they refuse to give a price; saying that I pick out the stone and they contact Granite City. What a waste of time.

We were well pleased throughout the entire process from the time we first walked in to their business up to the final process of having the granite installed! The people back in fabrication did a beautiful job cutting out the pieces and polishing the granite! We had 65 square feet of granite installed and no seams, which looks amazing! We had a generally good but not perfect experience with Granite City. Carol, our sales person, is great to deal with and really knows granite and quartz materials. We learned more from her than from all the other 5 stone dealers we visited, combined.We were upgrading 2 bathrooms, and we went through their collection of cut-offs from other jobs, and found 2 slabs we loved. In fact, we found better looking slabs here than at any other dealer we visited. Carol got us a price which beat every other dealer. They also removed the old countertops for almost less than I could have done it myself.Template get went fine and installation day arrived. They shattered one piece getting it off the truck. It was a piece with a lot of inclusions in it and we knew it was fragile, so I really cant blame them 100% here.Then they broke the other piece as well. Grrrrrrrr.We returned and found replacement pieces and an early install date. They were supposed to install them on a Thursday afternoon, but called at 4:30 to say they werent going to make it that day. Grrrrrrr.They showed up Friday morning and installed both slabs, and they look great, and left the house almost cleaner than they found it!So, kudos to Carol, their selection and prices, but not so much for their installers.We would use them again.

Took a month to install 4 straight pieces of granite of about 40sq.ft. which included a bar top. 1 month after installation, the undermount sink separated from the top and had to be reattached.All in all, not impressed. I should have gone elsewhere.
