From the time I met with Meghan to pick out my countertop until the installation was complete, Stoneworks staff was helpful, professional, cost conscious, timely and accommodating. I was under a very tight timeline to get this done at my rental condo as I had renters coming in and I could not have them move in without a countertop! Stoneworks made adjustments to accommodate the timeline. Can’t be more pleased with the product and the installation process. You almost have to look with a magnifying glass to spot the few seams! And I had some tricky areas to do. Thanks Meghan, template guy, installers and schedulers! I highly recommend you! Cindy V, Indian Rocks Beach
Stoneworks was extremely customer friendly from the office person, Wendy, to the workmen. We had two glass block windows above our kitchen counter that was framed in the quartz, the same as our counter. We were out of town when the work was done. When we returned we were not happy the way the windows were framed. We called Wendy and she had the workmen come right back out. They worked very diligently for 5 hours and they did a fantastic job.I would give them a five star rating any day. Thank you Stoneworks.
Horrible customer service!! Rude and does not follow through!! Go to Superior Solid Service. Impeccable Craftsmanship and service! It was a pleasure working with them from start to finish. They accomplished in 2 weeks, what Stoneworks could not in 4 and a half months!!!! Couldnt even get a return call after they were paid in June. This place is a tragedy. It doesnt surprise me since they work with Home Depot! Should be illegal.👎👎👎👎👎
I had Stoneworks, previous name Cutting Edge, install countertops in both my bathrooms yrs ago and was very happy with their professionalism and work. So came back for countertops and back splash for my kitchen this past July 2021. This is a different company now, not only in name but also by their expertise, customer service and reliability. Their lack of respect for the customer was painful. Eventually had work completed but settled for the poor workmanship after 5 painful attempts at completion.- When it was recognized that the first 2 contractors that came to install my countertops did a bad job by the next installers who came to finish the job, it started a painful, incredible stressful journey into learning about a company whose depts do not communicate with each other...including scheduling, installation, sales and billing.- I can go on at length about the stressful details ( late appts, numerous phone calls without call backs, numerous emails to depts, lack of repect for my time, as well as poor workmanship....) but the take home message is >>>>There are too many other companies who do this work. Dont regret not going with them.
Great people in all depth. Used them many times for at least 15 jobs.
Honestly, if I could leave less than one star I would. I have never been dismissed and denigrated by a company in the manner in which Stoneworks has.In April of this year (2021) we placed an order for a complete kitchen remodel through our local Home Depot. Stoneworks happens to be the vendor Home Depot uses in our area for quartz countertops. We knew going into this process that our time tables for installation would be extended with the delays in manufacturing etc due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after a couple of months of waiting our cabinets were delivered from the vendor and installed, and that is where the trouble began.Stoneworks was scheduled to arrive at our home on August, 27th 2021 to perform their template work which enables them to finalize our countertop design. The technician arrived on Wednesday, August 25th to perform the work. Initially I took this as a potentially positive outcome, I should have known better. The technician performed his work, and left. Two weeks went by and we did not hear from anyone at Stoneworks regarding the install of our countertops. No one else had any indication or knowledge of our install, and Home Depot recommended that we reach out to Stoneworks as they are the vendor responsible for installation. We tried multiple times to reach someone at the Largo, FL location. No one would answer the phone and after about three days of calling we finally managed to get someone on the phone on September, 6th. This person informed me that they would return my call within an hour. We never heard back from her. I attempted to reach Stoneworks again on September, 7th and failed. Finally on September, 8th I was able to reach someone and they also promised a return phone call within five minutes. Approximately an hour later, I received a call and was informed that Stoneworks had ordered our quartz that day. To note, September the 8th is two weeks after the template was made.Today; Thursday, September 16th 2021 I received an email from a person at Stoneworks informing me that my quartz had been ordered today and that we should expect to see the quartz delivered to them in about six weeks.I responded to the email, quite upset, because not only was I being given contradictory information from what I was told a week prior but I was also upset that a seemingly professional company, which has been involved in the process of our kitchen remodel since April is waiting until two weeks after they perform a template to order material for our countertops. I also expressed to the company representative my concerns over not having a functional kitchen, unprotected new cabinets and my worry that due to their poor logistics and scheduling skills as evidenced so far that we would not receive our countertops until November or December of this year. Note that six weeks from today would be October, 28th as of this writing.A few hours later I received a call from someone who identified himself as Lee and he also stated that he was the General Manager of the Largo, FL location. Lee proceeded to explain to me that I am not his customer, and that all of the blame falls on Home Depot. Lee stated that Stoneworks does not order material for Home Depot jobs until Home Depot has issued a check and Stoneworks has cleared it. Since Home Depot did not issue a check to Stoneworks until September, 6th 2021 Stoneworks did not order the countertop material until then.Lee made sure to inform me that he did not care that our kitchen is non-functional. It is not his problem that the quartz in question may not be available. He does not care that I think his company should have been more prepared. He did confirm that my assumptions of delivery time, time for Stoneworks to add our quartz to his workers queue and then scheduling for delivery and install would put us into November or December. He also was sure to mention that he would not mind canceling the order as well.
Warning!!!! Worst company to deal with in every aspect. They were told upfront of limitations for availability in my home and agreed and complied for template but then for installation they refuse to work with me. Carla in scheduling has jerked me around for nearly a month saying she will get the times I need approved and call me back then never calls back and when I do get ahold of her she will only offer me the same mid day times that I told everyone upfront that I can’t do…. She is rude, aggressive and raised her voice in a nasty tone telling me that they won’t work with me for scheduling the installation now and told me that if I don’t want to take their times then she guesses that I don’t ever want my counter installed then. I would be out of a job if I ever spoke to a customer like she does. Now I’m being told that I have to tear out my own small 1 square foot of material (they won’t do it at all). They had phots of the job before contracted and knew it had to be removed and the template knew it had to be removed. Hate and switch agreeing to things till it’s time to install.
When doing a remodeling project there are always bumps in the road that you expect. What is amazing is when the company goes above and beyond to make sure the customer feels valued and that their job is the most important thing to get right. Meghan was amazing to work with. She was a problem solver and just always made sure that we felt heard and important. I would 500% recommend working with Stoneworks! The project ended up looking amazing and they made all my ideas come to life! The installation team was completely professional and knowledgeable.
Bought the countertops through Home Depot, it was promised 2 weeks, well its been over 2 weeks now and they said its still a few weeks until we get the countertops
Kristy Clark has been great to work with. She really listened to me and took all my follow up calls. She worked hard to find the exact stone I wanted and has been detailed oriented and strong on follow through. She kept me in the loop and has been a joy to work with over these weeks.
Stoneworks was the sub-contractor for a renovation I had through Home Depot. Stoneworks was excellent. My main contact, Holley was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The gentleman that completed the final measuring prior to cutting was great. On-time and proficient. The installers (Nick and Cory, I believe) were great. Also on-time, proficient, knowledgeable. Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. High quality work. We are highly satisfied. Thank you all!
We were very satisfied with our granite install. Despite a change in sales staff, they were very accommodating and when I was unhappy with the initial job, they immediately sent someone out to assess the job. He returned and did finishing work to our absolute satisfaction. They are friendly, helpful and respectful. I would definitely use them again.Believe me, I had a very bad experience with another company, and was very particular!
From the moment I walked in their showroom I felt important. From the sales rep, to scheduling, to installers and the accounting office I was always taken care of, phone calls were returned asap and things got done!!Very professional and knowledgeable staff. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.Thank you!!
Kristy was a great help from start to finish! No matter how many samples we picked out she got a price for each one of them. When there was something forgotten Kristy made sure it got handled the next day! Great company and people to work with.
Dont waste your good energy or time on these guys. After 25 requests they just cant get it right.very frustrating.I gave them ample opportunity to resi the issue.they just dont care, understand or listen.please I beg you STAY AWAY.YOULL THANK ME.DONT BLAME ME IF YOU STILL USE EM AND REGRET IT
I am a building contractor and use Stoneworks for all of my customers. I recently used them for my own home and could not be happier. Kristy was great to work with. The quality is above the rest.
Huge selection of remnants. They are known for big projects but if you are doing a small job, they are willing to assist.
I was recommended to your company by a former customer. From the moment we stepped into your Largo office, we were treated with friendly, courteous and professional service. I was overly impressed with Wendy Lyautey. Wendy sent me an approval drawing of the layout. I had some questions during our e-mail conversations. On one occasion I asked Wendy a question after your closing hours. I was amazed when I checked the next morning for her reply, it came at 8:02 AM. Meghan McDade was extremely helpful on our visit back to your shop for approval of the layout. Then came the installation of the top. The installers were Nick and Cory. Two very professional, courteous and knowledgeable workers. Very refreshing considering their age. Unfortunately, at our age it’s highly unlikely we will be using your company again, but I have already recommended 2 potential customers to your company.Jan and I thank you again.Yours truly,Sal and Jan Ficarra11/11/2020
Huge selection and fabulous service
They worked with me to find a replacement material when my first choice was delayed. A uniquely shaped countertop was done with style, and installers were skilled, respectful and on time. Very happy with final results.
It was great working with Lee! Customer service was spot on! If you’re in need of countertops, hit up Lee!
