I found Venus via the web, for electronics repair. I saw so many comments with which I ultimately experienced myself, like Bill is personable, friendly, knowledgeable and is a cool dude. I needed someone to solder a component back onto a circuit board. Bill not only did that but found a break within a multi-threaded cable and another break in a cable leading to a jack. When I left the audio device with him he promised to get back with me within a day with diagnosis (he did) and subsequently repair it by the following morning (which he also did). Total successful outcome ! And it was an enjoyable experience with a quality guy.

I had a synthesizer which was a discontinued model, and I had a hard time finding anyone who was able to fix it. When I contacted Bill, he was very friendly and reasonable. Within a day or two he had it working great and he took the time to explain to me exactly what the issue had been. I was a 17-year-old with not a ton of money, and other places were asking for higher prices than what I had originally bought the synthesizer for, before looking into the situation. However, Bill was very honest about the entire process and charged me fairly for it. I’ve meant to write this review for a while now, but I had such a good experience that I’ve recommended him to other people since then.

My aquos TV got damaged by electrical surge during a heavy storm. I called Bill and took my TV to his repair place. He fixed it well and the price is very reasonable. He also communicates with you what repair needs to be done and gave you a true estimate without any hidden fees. Bill updates you when it gets done and when you can conveniently pick it up. I recommend Bill for any TV repair.

Very honest! I called him first thing this morning and explained the situation to him. He figured the repair would cost us around $250. He offered to come out to our house today. He called me 15 minutes before he showed up to say he could come early. When he got here, he went right to work. We ended up having two issues. He fixed the first issue with a part and the second issue he fixed by changing some settings on our TV. He even looked at another TV for us and taught us how to adjust settings so it looked better. In the end, he charged us $60 less than he originally quoted us, which he didnt have to do. Extremely nice guy and very honest! I would recommend him to others in a heartbeat!

Bill is a great guy. I work in the healthcare industry and I needed a piece of electronic equipment fixed for my work. My schedule at the hospital was tight, so Bill was gracious enough to meet me at a location close to where I live since I couldnt make it into his office during regular hours.The equipment was back to working condition after Bill fixed it. I HIGHLY recommend this company! Bill is as honest as they come and does any amazing job! My parents made the mistake of using having Clear TV repair come in and the gentleman took their whole TV and said it would cost $350 to repair instead of the original amount quoted of $150. After almost 5 hours I finally helped them get their TV back. I called Venus Electronics that originally repaired this TV two years ago and he was put the same day, analyzed the problem ON SITE and only took the piece that was broken. Repaired it and came back out to personally install it and test the TV. He also provided us with a 90 day warranty which is absolutely amazing. Five stars is not enough!

Took my parents tv for repairs had it ready the next day. Very friendly. Wont take my tvs to anyone else but him. Very fare pricing.

I called Venus Electronics in regards to my old 32 Sony (HD) tube television. This TV is about 15yrs old but has an unbelievable picture.The TV would not power on. I had the same problem 5 years ago and it cost me $225 to repair, so I was prepared to give this one up and buy a new set. even thought they were closed on Saturdays, Jim still took my call and set up an appointment for first thing Monday. He arrived promptly and determined he needed to take the circuit board back to his shop for more testing. Two days later he returned and the TV is working again. This time it cost me a LOT less to have the repair done. Jim is someone who I highly recommend and can be trusted to come into your home.
