I bought two pair of glasses and spent over $900. The lenses scratch very easily. I’ve been wearing glasses a long time and I’m not doing anything different in caring for my glasses and all the previous pairs of glasses I’ve bought from various places don’t scratch like this. They are trifocals and either I had a bad eye exam or they didn’t get the prescription correct.

The sales reps were very helpful and kind. Ive had nothing but success .

Josh is professional & good guy. The inventory is mid to high end brands. Since I didnt have insurance, I received 1 pair (least expensive) free including lenses. Bought 2 pairs of prescription sunglasses. Dont expect Walmart prices, but high end frames and 2 for 1 make it good value.

The staff was so patient and accommodating. My mom went and found glasses, and while they waited for me, they found glasses that my mom knew I would like. They waited patiently the whole time. They also found the exact color that I love. My glasses came in quicker than expected. They helped me get the fit right. I can see perfectly through these new glasses and it seems like they were cut perfectly without any problems. Highly recommended location.

Shirley at Vision Works is so kind and patient. She made me feel completely at ease. She encouraged and supported me through the process of finding a frame that looks great and fits comfortably. She has a a wonderful attitude. Shirley also helped me get in to see my eye doctor when I mentioned that my new prescription was straining my eyes. Lovely, professional service. Shirley is fantastic! When we walked in, she greeted us with a warm, genuine smile. She was with another client and she suggested we look around for a few minutes. As soon as I saw her, I could tell she was nice and knew her stuff! I am glad that Shirley was the one that helped us buy glasses today. She was incredibly patient with us and really helped us get the best glasses to suit our needs. She spent about an hour with us and made us feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Shirley.

Reliable and fast service, I came in at 3 pm and got done with my eye exam in less than an hour. Dr. Sandoval is an incredibly knowledgeable O.D. and can answer any concerns you may have about your vision and prescription. Will definitely be coming back next year!

They not only replaced the missing nose pad, but they replace the other nose pad.

I have only been going to Visionworks since I moved to Las Cruces 4 years ago. They are helpful and friendly and always help with my many repairs and replacements. I enjoy the atmosphere and varied selection of glasses. They are knowledgeable about frames, obviously eyes, and insurances. They have a quick turn around and are always striving to find the best deal. The staff is always upbeat as well. I highly recommend.

Amazing store, most helpful and wonderful people in town, particularly Shirley as she kindly spent almost ~1.5 hours to help me select two nice frames from the so many nice options in the store. She explained to me slowly the differences between lenses and upgrade options. She nicely discussed with me the prices versus quality versus style which all helped me to decide as I am always hesitant. And she can generously offer her opinion about which frame looks nice and which one isnt :)!. Highly recommended!

Ive had awful luck with finding an optometrist that works. My experience here has been nothing but amazing. The wait time was a little long but not unbearable and the receptionists were polite and helpful. The optometrist that saw us was knowledgeable and the service was fantastic. He talked to us about many things and we loved knowing about our eye health. We were offered sample contacts to see if we liked the fit as well as sample solution.I LOVED this place and it will be my go-to from now on.

Not good! I have been a with these guys 3 yrs spent good money, great eye exam but this person that sells the glasses needs to get retrained how a manager should approach a problem. and once you have a problem they don’t care I Had a problem with my eye wear, I explained it to the lady there. and then the girl walked not even 4 steps to talk about my glasses to another lady well it happened to be the assistant manager what a joke she never bothered to come talk to me she just kept talking to the other employees that were cleaning glass’s. Very unprofessional, this happened Saturday the 14 the place was empty too!

My exam was quick and to the point. One particular employee was super amazing every time I went in, either for myself or my family, when we all went for our glasses. His name is Glenn. He took the 15 mins just showing my mom how to care for her glasses and how to properly see with her new bifocals. When it came to ordering mine, he was super friendly, didnt hover or stare as I looked. And easily explained each of the attributes I can get with ordering my glasses. Great employee! Easy Peasy! Great place--right next door to Dr. L.Victor Sandoval (eye doctor). Had an eye exam and picked out glasses at Visionworks. They take VSP insurance and I saved loads of $$. Great selection, friendly staff and large selection of frames. One stop shopping!

Ester was the finest of Customer Service Agents. She went above and beyond to explain all of the qualities of the glasses and lens. When they came in she adjusted them and took time to make sure I was satisfied. Two of my friends are going to go back and get their glasses from Visionworks. I highly recommend it!

We had a bad experience getting glasses. No one answered our call and we waited for an hour on the phone.

The plastic lining that held my lens in place broke and I was told Id need another pair. Went 2 months with tape holding my glasses in place so I figured Id just buy a pair. The staff at vision works (Shirley) fixed it and even changed my nose pads. Awesome customer service, truly impressed. Will deal with again! Thanks again Shirley!

The personnel in this store are awesome! My husband and I came in with a unique problem - expensive high index lenses only 6 months old in a broken frame that couldnt be repaired/replaced (bought from a different store that had gone out of business and other stores had said frames/frame parts were obsolete). They approached our problem as a challenge rather than just shrugging off like other stores we had tried. By skillfully selecting a suitable new frame that was very very close to the same dimensions and by very careful and skillful adjustment of the lenses by their in house lab guru, my husband was able to have his very necessary computer/reading glasses fully functional again! My husband has vision issues and cannot function well on the computer or reading with just the progressive lenses that he needs for driving, etc. Two thumbs up! We will be back to this store for all our glasses needs in the future.

A family friend referred me and told me to ask for Shirley. My daughter was in need of glasses because she got a new prescription. Other places I felt rushed and even pressured to buy or at least considering buy glasses. Shirley allowed my daughter and I to browse and even told me about specials that were going on. My daughter found the exact same glasses she had before and another pair she liked. My daughter was having a hard time deciding. Shirley was patient and once my daughter was happy with her selection Shirley broke down the price based on options for the glasses. We had a great experience at visionworks working with Shirley. From now on this is where Im coming for glasses for my daughter.

I buy all my glassware at Vision Works inside Mesilla Valley Mall. The quality is amazing and there is always a wide selection to choose from! Although I do have expensive taste Glenn makes me feel like every dollar is worth it! Go see Glenn! His customer service is through the roof!!

Esther, employee of the month!I accidently crushed my glasses with my knees the other day and didnt really think about getting them fixed as I didnt have the funds to do so, assuming it would be expensive. But seeing as how I had to drive my family to the mall I decided to stop by visionworks to get them fixed. Thankfully, Esther, a great employee, was amazing enough to fix them for free which took quite a while considering how messed up they were. Definitely had a good experience here!

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!This place is a joke! Their service is terrible!!! 2 1/2 hour wait times, incorrect prescription, no option to leave and get called in. What the hell?!On top of that, their waiting room is uncomfortably small loud and dull, puffer machine shot particulate in my eye, and I had a reaction to their dilation solution. Is this place even licensed?Close this place down already!

I lost a nose pad for my glasses while travelling. I dropped into Visionworks in Mesilla Valley Mall to see if they did repairs. The awesome person behind the desk (I wish I had gotten her name!) found a suitable replacement and fixed them on the spot. She even gave me a couple of spares just in case. Then I learned that they do repairs like this for free! You cant beat service like that!

Had a great experience at Vision Works...great staff and GM explained in detail the process of my purchase. Extremely happy with my new glasses and the service I recieved!!!

I went in and I noticed the buy one get one free offer. I usually pay $450 for a pair of glasses. I ended up paying about $700 for 2 pairs. I saw the original cost of both sets for about $2000. That is when I told the person at store your original costs are way over inflated. I should have walked out right then and there but I ended up buying the frames. From all these other bad reviews on the net, I hope that my lenses are tip top so I dont regret being taught a $700 lesson to search reviews before I step into a store. I will update or place a new review when my frames come in.
