This is no longer called Presidente Supermarket. It is now called Festival Supermarket. I looked online for the weekly specials and went to the store to purchase the items on sale. To find out they are no longer Presidente. Had a different advertisement. Would not honor the advertisement offered online. Make sure before going to this location do not pull up Presidente. Stated they changed almost 6 to 8 months ago.

The store manager is extremely disrespectful to women. His employees are not trained how to take EBT cards. I asked for a corporate number and he refused to give me his name or the number. He also does not like disable people and said nasty things.

What used to be Presidente Supermercado, is now a nice clean Latino Caribbean Supermarket! Prepared foods always smell and look amazing! The store is kept CLEAN AND STOCKED at all times! Nice selection of produce and an UNBELIEVABLE butcher and seafood department!

Costumer service was good except for the meat department. The man working there was ONLY Ladies First. He was the only one working there, speaks Spanish. Theres a line but he didnt care.There was a woman before me when he said that. I didnt mind, she was here before me. While he working with her order, a black man was waiting with me and another woman came behind, waiting in line.When he finished, he looked at the woman behind me and I said 10 pounds, pointing at the drumsticks. Ladies First. I just stood there and stared at him. It was only three people in line, including me.The woman said, He can go first.He asked. What was the order?She answered. He said 10 pounds, the drumsticks.I repeated my order, louder.He looked annoyed at me, took my order in one bag. I told him I need one more bag. The woman before me had her order in a bag within a bag. I then left.He was working at around 6 pm Tuesday, May 12.

The food is not fresh!!! Carefully inspect the food, fish and produce before you purchase. Otherwise, they insist that you have your receipt ( even if all you want is a store credit). The label and food will clearly show that it is from the store, yet they will send you through hoops. Better off going to Bravo, their customer service department is more in touch with what shoppers require and the prices are similar.

President Supermarket is a clean fresh Supermarket with great market and product sales. They sell cook food, has a fish market there. It is a great place to shop. I enjoy shopping there. There sales paper items are for the entire month. No matter when you get paid that month you can still get the sales for that month. Kudos Kudos Kudos.

It is now called Festival Supermarket. My mother was not happy after coming here today. She shops early in the morning to purchase groceries. She was one of the first people in the seafood area and she waited a long time. The people werent prepared and started prepping when they got there so she left and started shopping for other things in the store after a long wait. AfterI walked into the store about 20 minutes later, she told me what happened.I went back to the seafood area because my boyfriend wanted my mother to make his favorite dish with crabs. I waited a long time. I had to speak up because I noticed people was trying to skip me when they began to serve people. So I asked if they werent going in order using the numbers and another lady questioned if they werent using the number system as well. One of the men replied yes and took my ticket. My mother decided to purchase other meat, I eventually got my crabs after waiting a long time. However, my mother does NOT want me to bring her back here ever again because of the experience she had with the seafood department alone.

Do not eat the food in the deli. The staff wears gloves when serving the food, but they do not change their gloves. They touch money and your food, and even talk over the food.If you are not Hispanic forget about great customer service.The staff does not mind flies over the meat.The meat is not always fresh. I only come for certain Caribbean fruits and vegetables when publix or Walmart does not have them. Wheres the food inspectors when you need them? Go at your own risk. By the way, some of the good reviews are from the their staff. Happy shopping.

Not a good place to be, not cultural friendly, once the servers see you are not Hispanic they don’t have respect and does not give customer service. The meat servers does not feel they have to speak English and underestimate one’s character once they see you are black. I guess because a lot of Haitians shop there. I went there to get some soul products but not worth my service. Quality of service over price any day. Take your money elsewhere. Oh I ask for a manager, no help, does not know how to lead. Customer satisfaction is not a priority. Didn’t even apologize for her employees actions. Last time setting foot in here. Runnnnnnnn. I see they change their name to festival. Who know maybe a scam to get away from paying taxes. Lost all trust.

If you’re Hispanic you can easily recognize this place. Is the center of life in any of our communities. If the place where you, and most importantly your mother, and your grandmother can find all the staples of Spanish traditional food and more.I ended up at Festival Supermarket because I ran out of coffee, and my experience couldn’t have been better.Parking was easy, as the plaza the store is located on is huge, with ample space for everyone. Additionally finding the Supermarket is easy as well as it’s the biggest place there with the loudest sign.When you walk in you are met with the typical set up of a supermarket. You have the fruits, and vegetables on one side and the different aisles presenting you with a little bit of everythingX but is the diversity of the options presented that really gets you. Again, is the availability of those products your mother and grandmother grew up with, and taught you to love that makes this place truly espacial.Suffice to say, I got my coffee, and it won’t be the last time I buy my coffee there. The lady at the register was awesome enough to ring me even as she was about to close her lane, and as I was ready to walk out with everything I wanted, I heard also say - “Merry Christmas!” - Merry a Christmas indeed!

Hard to get help if you dont speak Spanish, lol. But if you love great prices and some Spanish or Cuban or West Indies style products, its well worth the trip to shop here. If youre feeling friendly then eventually you will get to speak with a employee thats bilingual. Who will be more than happy to help you find what you need. Half the groceries in the store are American made products. Goya, Iberia, Kraft, Pepsi, Scott, Kelloggs, just to name a few.

Prices are very good BUT location is always in need of a mop and broom maybe its the volume they do have a LOT and I mean a huge customer base. All in all if youre Caribbean and love your Caribbean must haves its probably at this location their prices cannot be beat. Beef up customer service and more English speaking friendly persons and they would be the envy of all.

This place definitely caters strictly to the Hispanics, you definitely feel like you dont belong. There has not been one time that Ive gone there and did not have to wait long. The cashiers are always speaking to each other in Spanish no customer service whats so ever

My husband & I enjoy Festivals well prepared latin style café con leche or your basic coffee au lait served at coffee stores. I order mine with only one shot of expresso & less sugar while my husband prefers a double shot & a bit more of sugar. I add to my order a cuban tamal & my hubby an order of toasted bread & butter latin style.The only time I decided to cook some seafood I went to Festival and bought scallops, squid & shrimp from the freezer section. I was happy with my purchase which served its purpose for a celebrarory occasion.

President Super Market of Lauderhill Florida is a place where you can find cheap products. Weekly, they have a sale on very popular items. Its most of the time crowded with long checkout lines. It worth get the lines for the price, so you need to be prepared and enjoy your time there.

They have a hot food section for anyone who enjoys Latin food. Its decent food and they give you a ridiculous amount for food to cost ratio its golden.

Prices are good for purchasing in bulk, area is a bit small though. Not easy to fit two trolleys per row or persons travelling on opposite sides of an aisle.

Customer service STINKS, no one seems to speak or understand English. You will get better service if you are Haitian or Spanish and that is sad (a customer is a customer dont matter the language spoke or the color of your skin. Tighten up and train your people to treat the customers with respect and also get some workers who speaks ENGLISH!! Managers are never available to speak to. When ask for number for corporate I was given a none working number by the customer service woman who claimed that her name was TITANIA, I doubt it, they are all LIARS.

I find the meat fresher now, I had stopped buying it after several packages that I had opened and they had a bad order. I bought cooked food today because I have been in the hospital and didnt want to cook.
