Its a Walmart. Usually only 1 full cashier is open. Online inventory isnt always accurate. Today I had to wait for 20 minutes in line to check out. There were 2 checkout lines but they were 5 people deep. With a full cart not everyone wants to go through the self check. Just to kill time I called the store and asked if they could open another checkout. The person said people were at break and she would see what the lines looked like. Walmart doesnt have to focus on customer service like other stores because they know people will put up with crummy service. π΅βπ«
Every time I go its fairly quick trips, food, tech, and small home goods and cleaning supplies stocked. I am disappointed that I cannot buy the peeps marshmallows here, and other things, an employee said its only available online? I see employees shopping for the online orders, so is all the stuff just in the back and not for in-store shopping? Thats my only frustration.
Walmart is great. The curbside pickup is easy and very convenient. They just have trouble keeping certain items in stock with the college students back in town. I dont shop anywhere else so I dont know if other stores have the same problem.
Eli the manager does not put a customer first was very rude answering my questions! Did not let me complete my transaction of sending money to my sister for a gift, for some reason his associate thought it was for a debt when I simply wanted to gift my OWN RELATIVE! Did not help me at all even tho I have done it over 5 times!! At the same Walmart. The associates name was Angela in money center! Would not recommend using them and I wonβt anymore. Wish I could give eli the manager less than 1 Star!!!

Walmart is Walmart. You can rarely find better prices. I understand there is a shortage of employees because of covid but I should always have the choice of a cashier and not wait in line for an hour.
Its another Walmart. Nothing special. Nothing particularly negative. Getting into and parking were a bit of a pain. Busy store when we visited. Looking for canning supplies, totally out.
Very disappointed. Nobody was in the area for assistance. Had to go find someone to help the gentleman that was there before me. Didnt get what I was needing because no one was there for help getting what I wanted and was not going to stand there for I had to be at my job by 2PM. I am seriously considering going elsewhere for my shopping needs.

So, I am not a Walmart person as it is usually really crowded and I can never find what I am looking for. Today I went into Walmart to buy so.e 5 gallon bottles of water since everyone seems to be out. They had what I needed right at the front. I was able to grab it, go through self checkout and get out... anxiety free. I am glad to know that I now have a place to get water without having to get deep into the craziness of Walmart!
Iβd much rather put this in a private review, but since the link from the email receipt is useless Iβll do it this way. I submitted an order this morning for pickup between 5-6 pm. I got a notification at 5 that it wasnβt ready yet. I understand, I submitted the order at 10 am on a Friday and selected a busy time. Other people probably had the same idea as me to pick up their groceries after work and go home for the weekend. Iβm okay to wait a bit. I ended up getting the notification it was ready and got to the store around 5:45 when I proceeded to wait. After an hour I tried calling the pickup number, but it went to voicemail and the box was full. I tried calling the main store, but it just rang and I hung up. Eventually, after 2 and a half hours, I decided to call the main store again, waited for someone to pick up, and asked if I could walk up and get my order myself. Thatβs what I ended up doing. Iβve worked service jobs for years, I understand what itβs like. By NO MEANS do I blame the people running the pickup. There were only two of them, neither looked like theyβre even old enough to drink, and Iβm not the type of person to get angry at minors who are doing the best they can. The issue is, if itβs such a busy time why are there only two people scheduled to do that job. Why hasnβt someone been pulled from somewhere else to come help them, even for 30 minutes to get things moving along faster. If thereβs nobody else that is trained to work that area, thereβs a larger issue with cross training. All of those things are problems that someone in management would be responsible for. Itβs not those kids fault, and I hope the other people that were waiting hours along with me understand that as well.

I bought two tires, got a oil change, and an air filter replacement done at this location. It was all done in about an hour and a half, in the past it is taking a lot longer and the customer service was really lacking. But it seems sense they have reopened the tire and lube express Department, they are doing a much better job.
Our interaction with Seth in the electronic dept was above and beyond. I cannot thank you enough for your knowledge and insight that allowed us to get our phone through att the other day. To Seths supervisor. Seth had patience and understanding. Not only excellent customer service but used his skills to guide the what seemed impossible problem. I have bought many phones through Walmart and this was by far the best experience EVER. You were God sent. Thank u so much. He deserves an awardππ
Very reliable for groceries, although my family generally orders online now. such a large and vastly diverse customer base makes for quite the experience. however, a trip to walmart is comparable to a plane ride. its not going to kill you to go once, or twice, or sometimes three hundred times, but the more often you go, the more you risk dying.
In my opinion theres not a lot to rate for a store like Walmart. With that being said; heres what Ive come to see for this particular store.- overall cleanliness of the store is well kept- most employees are nice and willing to help when seeking help locating or asking questions about items- decently well kept/organized clearance sectionOverall a decent local Walmart.
I am handicapped and when I went into the Walmart on Iowa St in Lawrence, Kansas I had to wait for a push cart for at least 20 minutes. I needed a ride on cart because I have a knee that hurts allot. I walk with a cane and when I talked to the front end manager she did not have one thing to say. I ask for the store manager and he was too busy to be bothered with a customer. I have been going to this Walmart for over 15 years. I do not care if I have to drive farther I will never go in that Walmart again and I am having my prescriptions switched to another store. I was treated very badly. When I called the Walmart Corporate Office they did not offer an apology for what had happened. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Sunday afternoon, first students weekend in a college town. Three lanes open. Took 25 minutes just to get checked out. Suggest pickup from now on. Plus they were out of half the items on the list.
This Walmart is absolutely fabulous and fantastic. These employees especially Tabby at the self check out really care about their customers. I started having a bad panic attack and she calmly got me back focused. That was the shortess panic attack Ive ever had. I was able to complete my purchases and walk out with a smile instead of tears. Please please give Tabby a kudos a raise and tell her shes an angel.
Had to wait 20 minutes for help in jewelry eventually had to ask a 2nd time for help. After waiting 30+ minutes in fragrance and asking 3 different people for help and NOT getting any I just left. Terrible customer service.
Out of all the Walmarts Ive been to this one is one of the worst. The aisles are nearly always picked completely apart. I personally have never seen the candy aisle not in total disarray. The electronics section is both understaffed and the staff that works there barely even look at you once you finally track someone down. Once you get to checkout you get either complete incompetence or the chattiest person who, even with a line will continue talking to you after the transaction is done. I try to shop here as inoften as possible.
Lately the shelves havent been near as stocked as they used to be. Unsure of why. But store is clean and staff are usually very helpful
Went this morning to patch a tire..waited 3 hours..they tell me cant patch..the guy that did my tire brought my car out with all.its flat tire which it was totally aired when I went in..the auto manager hands me fix a flat and asks me if I know how to put in..I ask about new tires and automatically tell me they are not in stock...I tell him I looked online and he says well thats not correct...meantime the professional tire guy what 17 years old says I took a nail out...well no you didnt cause my son did and plugged it so I could get it patched....the manager was rude..sarcastic...so walmart employees ask yourself is this the way to keep your jobs instead of self countering!!!!!!!!!!!I will never go to wal mart auto AGAIN..oh yea I should of took the suggestion from an wal mart employee to go to another tire place reccomendation prior to allowing them to WASTE MY TIME
Most, not all, groceries are more expensive here than other grocery stores; but most clothing items are below the cost at most other clothing stores. Most workers arent overly helpful. I will pay a slightly higher price for service and quality elsewhere, most often.
Lines were backed up only self check out open. seen 5 employees just standing around doing nothing. wish there was somewhere better to shop with the same low prices. dillions has most of what i need but not everything.
Walmart is gradually reducing the number of their Associates. Sometimes you have to wait about 20 min to checkout if you do not want to do self checkout. That is why only 3 stars.

Getting real tired of Walmart only having one or two checkout lanes open with lines at both. Talked to customer service and was told rather abruptly that they were not to open more lanes per corporate mandate. That is just wrong. If you want me to use the self checkout, I better get a discount on my groceries, but instead the cost of groceries keeps going up. I dont work for Walmart. You dont pay me. So why should I use the self checkout when I have a cart full of groceries.
Associates here do not seem to be trained properly!Only the 20 items or less register and the one next to it, was open on a Friday@1pm!

If I could give it half a star I would. Tonight I went to Walmart and I needed something unlocked in electronics so I saw some workers so I asked one for help and I was ignored and they walked off. Another did it to one other customer in the area as well. There were several employees who ignored us and didnβt even bother to respond to our questions. I finally found one employee to help and he was very helpful. The staff here are almost always rude and have an I donβt care attitude. I know how hard retail can be because I work retail myself but if you are upset donβt take it out on customers who are not even being rude.

Most of the time you can find what you want In Walmart. The wait wasnβt too bad today.
Although Walmart is always pretty busy I can usually find what Im looking for however recently the meat cases have little selection if any at all probably still having issues due to Covid19 self check out is usually the fastest because there are never enough actual registers available for checking out that should be improved at all Walmarts across this USA

I would give them a perfect 5 star rating if they had enough cashiers when its busy. And the employees didnt run in the opposite direction when they can tell a customer is needing assistance.

This is a great store. They always have plenty of everything. The staff are great. They take you right to the item your looking for. Plenty of help. Cheap prices and great service. The only thing is check your dates on things. Might only have a day or 2 shelf life left. But that comes with a cheapier price. Great store.. Thank you Walmart and crew..

Onsite parking is available outside the gate. Roughly 13 spaces. My appointment time was 0900. They started knocking on all the truck doors getting your bills and phone number. They called me in at 0645 I was unloaded by 0900. Light turns green means the bills already in the office ready. There is lumper services, but mine was prepaid in advance.

Beware customer service may lie to you. I purchased a comforter for $56 with cash a few months earlier and I wanted to return it but I couldnt find my receipt. Customer service refused to give me store credit, although it was in the original packaging and the product was still in the store being sold. They told me (and insisted) the computer wont allow store credit for over $50 without a receipt, and they wouldnt give me store credit for this or allow me to exchange it for anything, saying the computer wont allow it -- and it cant be overriden. In the end, I finally found a manager, with a lot of trouble, who did allow me to return it for store credit but the people at customer service would not allow this, saying the computer wont allow it. I later learned from going to another Walmart that the computer will allow store credit for purchases over $50 without a receipt -- and its obvious that customer service lied to me when they said it would not. I would have had no problems returning this item at another store and getting store credit, although I did have problems here. It s obvious that management here restricted this return and it was not the computer.
ONLINE ORDERING WITH WAL-MART (Lawrence, KS) IS TERRIBLE!! I ordered groceries for delivery on June 11, 2021. I picked the express delivery (extra $10). I received an email about substitutions and items Walmart was out of (fine). I received an email that my order was out for delivery with Melinda. (great) END OF STORY: Melinda never showed up; she went missing. Spoke to the store manager and even he did not know where she was 3 hours later. He promised he would credit my payment back to me. It is now June 15, and not only have I not received the credit, Wal-Mart just charged me $10 for Melindas tip!!
All self check out was full and the one lane open had about 7 people in line. We waited about 20 minutes to check out. I could of self checked out but did not want to. One lady in line in a wheel chair it is harder for her, Elderly and one lady with over 100 items. WalMart you really should have more regular lanes open. There were several staff straining up things and walking around. Shift leads were not nice just kept saying we have 18 lanes open not our fault only one has a person at it. I will keep going elsewhere. Only one WalMart I still like and they havent had the new design yet.
Same as it ever was, same as it ever was, only with masks, and everyone seems to be reaching out with kindness more. Maybe its because we have all been separated for so long. Dont care, staff has been awesome and helpful lately, except 2 people, youll know if you run across them.

Service is horrible. None of the self checkout stands accept cash.... Coinstar was down... Alit of stock missing. For a bilkij dollar company the place is terrible. Checkers are rude, when a new stand opens (if and ever) its first come first served... People waiting for several minutes are ignored.

Store #00484 This store is the worst Walmart I have ever been to. No cash at self serve registers for 2 weeks now. Very few cashiers and wait times are unbearable. Came in for 3 items stood in line for 45min because I had cash. The Walmart on 6th street has allowed cash for the last 2 weeks. When I asked why the employee said it was the banks fault, it is Walmarts fault period. Then theres the rude stockers who take up an entire isle and cause customers alot of walking around. The gallon size water is so high older people risk injury to get it up and out of shelving. Dillions has put milk at the front of store not a football field away so older and handicapped people are not a considerment at this Walmart. The pet food is not next to groceries as in other Walmart stores, so thats another football field walk for everyone. Lastly your electronic section has the most unfriendly and rude employees. Talking to each other rather than helping customers. I have never hated a store more than this Walmart it truly is not customer friendly. Next time I go, Ill take pictures to send you proof!

I am appalled at the condition of this Walmart. The aisles were cluttered, merchandise was out of place, trying to use the app to find things was a useless endeavor and the garden center/plants were a MESS! I was looking for some plants but Id never buy any from here. It was evident they hadnt been watered for quite some time. You were unable to get from point A to point B without jogging/jostling and practically jumping from aisle to aisle. They one employee out there was reading a newspaper while sitting between two registers.I usually point out what positives I can find but sadly, for this review, I have none to report.
Visit went as normal, except for the fact my husband noticed a woman on a motor cart slumped over unconscious/asleep, rammed into the end of an isle. We stopped to check on her, and she was able to talk a bit. She might have had low blood sugar. We went off to find an employee to help her and get her a new cart since hers was almost dead, and we found Sam. Sam said she was busy and directed us to another employee on the opposite side of the store. Derrick, the other employee, immediately got another cart and went to help the woman.This review is only 3 stars because Sam lowered it to 0, and Derrick brought it back up. Even if itβs not in your job description, people should care about each other.

I had a full cart and the line out of the two open isles was out of control. The self checkout was taking forever because people with full carts had to figure out how to us the tiny station.
I had knee replacement surgery a couple of weeks ago. My husband dropped me at the garden center because the gate was unlocked and I wouldnt have to walk so far to look at plants. I was told I could not come in that way. I did anyway and told her I could NOT walk from the other end of the store. Sure, I MIGHT have lucked out and gotten a motorized cart, but it is a 50/50 chance. They are either all taken or not working.

Itβs an alright store and they generally have anything that you are looking for. My two complaints are the parking lot is terrible, which, whatever. The customer service, specifically in the electronics department is abysmal! Iβve been going to this Walmart for years and it has always been the worst out of all departments to get help.

I go to a lot of Walmart supercenter, from the upper parts of Montana to the deepest part of the south,.west to the east ..most are the same but lot of difference in each one,like I said, Walmart supercenter got everything I need.
I have now called twice about two separate questions and each time no luck. First question was what is the most money you can send from Walmart to Walmart. The associate had no clue and said just try to send as much as you can.The second time I called no one answered. I called several times more and still no answer. So for both of my questions I called Nevada, MO Walmart where I used to live because I knew they would be able to help. And yup sure enough I got both my questions answered in a timely fashion.Its pretty sad that my hometown of Lawrence Walmart cant answer my questions or pick up the phone but I can call a small town Walmart where i used to live and they are happy to help...

Its a good place to go if you know where everything is already. You can not find employees to ask a question if you have one. The customer service desk is usually on their phones when not helping customers.
The check out person kept coughing on me and didnt help me right away at the Iowa one.
