Very friendly staff I enjoyed my visit to there

I absolutely adore this store. The family who own it are so kind and it’s easy to see all of the effort they put into this space. I swear you can walk in, close your eyes, point in a random direction and find a fun and unique gift for friends, family, or yourself.They also are putting a lot of effort into making sure customers feel safe and valued during the pandemic and are scheduling appointments to shop. I had the whole space to myself during my time and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience!

AMAZING STORE!! The most unique items that cant be found anywhere else! Absolutely PERFECT for gift shopping! Not to mention the outstanding service from a local family owned and operated small business!

Hobbs really typifies Lawrence. Its totally quirky and fun. It has enough cool gadgets to keep a guy entertained while his female half is taking advantage of the clothes offered. It couldnt be in a better location - a short walk from the Free State Brewery and the Dusty Bookshelf (and the Raven Bookstore). Definitely a place not to miss if doing Downtown.

Such a great local shop for gifts, clothes, jewelry, etc. Owned and run by a local family that is extremely helpful and friendly — a must-visit in Lawrence!!

Do not buy anything from here unless you are certain you will keep it. I bought two items, one for me and one for my brother. Upon checking out I asked the clerk if I would be able to return them for any reason, and she said I can return them whenever. She failed to mention the return policy until I inevitably returned them after regretting my expensive purchase. She told me I can get store credit or make an exchange. Convenient that she told me just then. Frustrated, I had no choice but to recieve over $400 in store credit that I had no intention to use. Thanks for royally screwing me over.

Ive tried 3x to go buy a necklace Ive been eyeing here, except every time Ive been theyre closed. Their Google and Facebook hours are incorrect and no one thought to put their January chill hours online. What a waste of time. So frustrating!!!
