I could not be more pleased with the service or price at KD. If the service is going to take awhile and you dont want to wait they have someone to take you home and come pick you up...that is unheard of these days! They do have a nice waiting area that is kept immaculate. They are very professional and most of all exceptionally nice.

I had a spring break on my Corvette and I called them 5 min before closing while on the side of the road. My car was still drivable and they agreed to wait until I could get there. I dropped the car off Monday night, they looked at it on Tuesday and got the car back to me on Friday. I thought that was great since they had to order parts. Very fast service and super nice people. I will definitely work with them again for future repairs.

Had problems with my AC not working (which is terrible timing considering the heat wave the last few days). They were able to make an appointment the same day I called, and they got it fixed in less than 1.5 hours. They were super nice and had a reasonable price. Wow, so greatful they were open on a holiday. Starter died while getting gas on the way home. Called and they said they could get me in and out the same day. So blessed! I need my only means of getting to work. Not only did they fix the starter. They offered to replace both battery post connectors. Got both done and back on the road in less than an hour total. Got a text message the next day asking if everything was still good. Love it!

Having a road incident that requires immediate repair while traveling out of state with three kids is not ideal. I was afraid of being fleeced, but KD Auto repair was extremely well priced and they didnt pressure me into makimg unnecessary repairs. Service and detailed support to repair my vehicle was completely professional with a valuable sense of family. I had to have a lot of extensive work done to get me back up and going. Keith and his great team(Kenna and Matt) as well as all the mechanics helped me out tremendously. Provided great advice for things to keep in mind for any future issues, and even made sure I could rent a vehicle during the time of repair. Could go on and on, they are great people and Ill for sure have them at the top of my list for future car repairs and maintenance.

We were looking to buy this car so we had them do a good check on everything first. We just bought another car in June and found out the hard way everything was messed up on it. I like the way KD AUTO REPAIR checks back with you afterwards. Great communication.

Pros: Friendly Staff. Was kept informed of progress while car was at the shop. Called before any procedures that would cost additional money.Cons: Transmission still leaks. Additional leak after work. Receipt does not break down the cost of parts vs labor. Upselling of additional un-needed services.This review reflects only my own experiences.I had my vehicle worked on in August of 2021 at KD Automotive. I had called earlier in the week to schedule a day to drop my vehicle off, setting up an appointment was easily done. I was also able to get a ride back to my house afterward since the vehicle would take some time to diagnose, and I don’t live that far away.My vehicle has a small fluid leak near the front of the transmission. It is the type of leak that is definitely not easy to determine where it is coming from. A UV dye was added by the automotive tech to help identify the source of the leak. It was determine to be the front seal on the transmission. The repair involved the removal of the transmission from the vehicle to get to the seal. It took about a week total to diagnose, obtain parts, replace, and reinstall everythingWhen I first arrived home after picking the car up I check underneath. There were a couple of drops of transmission fluid at the same location as before, but I thought maybe it was just fluid that somehow got spilled during replacement. I drive the vehicle to work and back the next day, I park at home and go in for a few minutes. When I come back out later to check the leak, I see that it appears to be slowly dripping from the same place. There is also a banjo bolt connection on the transmission that is now dropping a few drops of fluid on the ground as well. So now when I park I leave two spots of transmission fluid instead of one.I haven’t contacted KD Automotive in regards to the continued and additional leak. I’m conflicted about the issue. The labor for the job was fairly expensive, at least for me. I had hoped that with the amount of labor involved that they would have checked, double checked, and triple checked to make sure there was no more leaking. I have had other bad experiences with other automotive repair shops that causes me to be leery of all repair shops. It’s not fair to KD Automotive for me to be that way, but there is that saying “a few bad apples ruins the bunch”.It may be that a Subaru isn’t the most common car to be worked on in this area. I see a few new ones on the road, but not so many that are as old as mine, a ’05. The car might just be a real nightmare to get to stop leaking.

Todays repair was from a quote they gave me back in November. I was advised they would honor the quote, but to be prepared of price increase in parts. I completely understand that considering consumer prices have increased over the past year or so. Fortunately for me there was not an increase plus I had a coupon which discounted the price even further. I trust the folks at KD Auto Repair with my vehicle every time. You should too.

KD auto is always fast with everything! The best thing they do is that they explain anything thats wrong with your vehicle and with pricing which is nice and also call or text the next day or thru the week to see how your vehicle is doing . Good see these guys they are great !!!

I took my 2016 Civic to this shop for some exhaust work. I went in wanting a little extra sound out of the engine without it being super annoying. This shop did exactly that, they listened to instructions perfectly and put everything on exactly how I imagined. No exhaust leaks, no excessive drone. I have always been wary of letting other folks work my car since honesty & integrity have become rare these days. I managed several large truck repair facilities for many years so I realize the challenges a shop owner faces.I was quite impressed with the quality of the facility, the folks I dealt with, and the successful repair to my A/C system.I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone seeking quality repairs at a decent price.

Took my Jeep in 07-16-21 for their special $19.97 5 qt oil & filter change. My vehicle holds 6 quarts of oil with the filter change. Told them to just do 5 qts, I have oil at home and will top it off. Checked my oil 07-17-21 AM & it was overfilled about 1 qt. I called, lady answered, told her of the overfill, would it damage my Jeep if I drove it. She not sure, let me call a tach and call you back. She did and said no harm if I drove it till Monday, & to bring it back in and they would check it. I checked it couple more times over the weekend, and it showed overfilled each time. Took it back on 07-19-21 PM. They checked Jeep, lady said it looked right when we checked it before we took it into the garage, and it looked right when we brought it back to you, here are your keys. I had also checked the oil filter prior to taking it in on 07-16-21, and again after it came out of the garage on 07-17-21, it still had the same road grime on it as it did before I took in it in on 07-16-21. Ive been reading dip sticks and changing my own oil for more years than these guys are old. I know when I see an overfilled oil change and when the filter was not changed. It would be understandable to overfill, had it happen at Valvoline here in Lburg too, but to stand there and tell me a lie to my face is unacceptable. Admit the mistake, take care of it and apologize. I did check the oil level later and it read right on where it should be. Guess I can read a dipstick after all.

Ever since I first took my truck to KD Automotive, I’ve never trusted anyone else to work on it. They’ve always been extremely friendly, timely, and done amazing an amazing job. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I made the mistake of calling other mechanic shops in the area before I talked with KD auto. Everyone else was a a week or two booked. KD auto didnt even bat an eyelash, they told me to get it in to the as soon as possible, and they would get to it right away! Thats so comforting when your in a bad situation. They even had a company to tow my car. All in the same day. These guys truly are genuine people. Always smiling, very friendly staff when you go to there shop, easily accessible, right off highway 127.. I had a new battery installed along with serpentine belt. And they checked my alternator as well. My car works great, I literally drove it back to New Jersey two days after getting it repaired. Cant thanks these guys enough, job well done KD Auto 🤙

I called out to KD auto repair at last minute with a concern about how much oil I was using and they told me to come out and drop my car off and they will look at it the next day and get back to me. Had Been using them for a couple years now. One day my intake manifold broke and they told me it was my coil packs and some other small things. They charged me 1000 dollars and two weeks later my car broke down again it was still the intake manifold but since they didnt work on it the first time they said it wasint covered under warnenty even tho it had been only 14 days since they last worked on it and they wanted another 1000 dollars. I said no and took it to a freind who said i got ripped off and he fixed my car for 500 bucks and it runs better then anytime I ever got it back from kd auto. I do not recommend these guys.

I went in this past week, just to have my brakes looked at they was perfectly fine. But the mechanic had found a major oil leak around my oil pan, that I had not known about. They fixed that day at a very reasonable price. They went above and beyond to make sure my truck stays on the road. This place is the only place that will touch my vehicles, from a simple oil change to something major. Friendly, fast, and honest.

I took an old 1991 Chevy s-10 in for oil leak and found out I needed a little more work done. Their price was reasonable. After paying, I started to leave and another item surfaced that needed attention. Not surprising considering most are all original parts. They took the time to check it and replaced it while I waited — at no charge. I will definitely go back for anything else that I need.

They put a brand new transmission in my trailblazer in the same day. Dropped it off that morning and was done an hour before close. KD did a great job on my repair. I found the owner Keith Dennis very open and honest. Keith explained all the repairs and followed up after I had gotten home a few days later. Not sure if it is always the case, or not, but they wiped down my dash and vacuumed the carpet. My car was ready the day/time I was told, and the price was what I was quoted. I’ll take my future repairs to KD, and will recommend them to my friends and family.

I had a referral from a friend but other than that I didn’t know what to expect. They not only met but extremely exceeded my expectations. They keep track of repairs fixed, explain things extremely well, and are very patient with the customers. I truly believe that they are honest and want to earn business through their style of professionalism and integrity. My car was returned to me in the same condition as I left it. The seat was in the same setting, so were my mirrors. My car did not show any grimey fingerprints or that things had a necessarily been moved around. The detailed report that was done on my car was alarming yet comforting. It’s nice to know what’s wrong with my car and be able to get things repaired before I’m unpleasantly surprised when something breaks. KD Auto Repairs is streamline and professional. They took notes on all my concerns and sent me a link to all inspection concerns they found. The link had descriptions, prices, and pictures of all items. Keith sent me a personal follow up text after repairs were completed. Exceptional service!

The customer service at KD auto repair is fabulous. Not only are the girls in the office friendly, they almost feel like family members. They took me home after I left my car there, and came to get me when it was ready! Plus they called me and kept me continually updated on the status of things, since the part came in late and it was a couple of extra days from the initial time it was to be ready. Also Keith’s wife who runs the office is knowledgeable and communicative about the details of what is wrong and how they are going to fix it——which is rare. The estimate was very close to to actual figure at payment time, and best of all my car heater is working again! I will definitely go back there the next time I need a car repair!
