I am a first time customer to this location. Visited for a 8am appointment for an oil change, alignment, and four tires. After arriving I was greeted and assisted by Montrail, she got me checked in and started with my service. I was welcomed with a clean waiting area, fresh coffee, and clean restrooms, water was also available. I was one of the first customers and noticed the store was busy with drop offs that morning and a only 2-3 people waiting at a time. My service was completed in a timely manner, a fair price, and I even took advantage of a few promotions they were running at the time (check the Firestone website for promotions). I will return for my next service.I did have 1 con to the visit; they do provide free WiFi, but the WiFi speed was about 1mbps, and to slow to use. I ended up using my cell phone hotspot for 50mbps service (Verizon). Also, phones were not working correctly, but these are no fault of the store and is more related to corporate policy and store support.
Thank you Ms Dee Dee and Mr Dennis for explaining everything to me and letting me know what needs to be done to my car. I trust your opinions because I know nothing but to drive and put gas in my tank. You listen! You care! You go above and beyond! You are very knowledgeable and keep me posted even when I leave the site! I appreciate the service at this Firestone! I appreciate people who are passionate at what they are doing.
Its cheaper than the dealership but I waited over an hour after my appointment before my car was looked at. Store manager was rude and unprofessional. Sales pushed for me to get a credit card for all new tires and my tires are fine. Plus all my concerns were not checked during my visit. Wont be going back. If you have time to waste and dont mind the headache have at it. Its 40$cheaper🤷🏾♀️.
Firestone in Lawrenceville, GA is the best! Dee Dee, Dennis and Svc. Mgr. Mr. Leighton helped us say goodbye to a used vehicle that was costing us too much to keep on the road. We are very thankful for their honesty and great service over the years!

I have a lifetime alignment for my truck. Went in for camber/toe adjustment and was sent off with the camber way out of spec. The tech said your vehicle doesnt have camber adjustment. That is 100% false. They lied to my face. After I showed them that the truck does have camber adjustment, I was told its within spec.

Avoid! Cancels appointments at the last minute (twice) and demand that the customer be understating that they fail to schedule appropriately for confirmed appointments. There was no attempt made to work this out as the response to this review suggests. Contrary to the response, no remedy was offered. A refund was absolutely not considered. I was contacted.
Their customer service was great. Lady that attended me saved me $70 for checking my car. The only thing is that she did not quote me on the battery and electrical testing that way I could have compared it to others and should have been up front.
The Sales Associate Dennis was very friendly and helpful. He made me feel at ease and relayed my car issue to me in a knowledgeable manner. The issue I have is with the service my car received. I went it because my brakes were squeaky and after paying over $100 my brakes sound worse then when I brought the car in. That’s a huge problem for me.
Not sure if anyone is actually ASE certified at this location. Wife’s car died and was towed there. Long story short, they said her alternator and battery were dead. When I asked what The meter said about the battery, that was only 2 years old, the tech said it was “toast”. I replied, “well the meter doesn’t say “toast” when you test it, what did it actually say?” The tech replied “ 0 volts 0 amps. Very suspicious at that point because even a dead battery will give a small amount of voltage. But, I didn’t have time to argue that’s why I let my wife bring it to the shop to begin with. So we authorize the work to be done. Hours later they said you car is ready. Since I was suspicious I told them to put all the old parts (alternator, starter and battery) in the trunk. Turns out they condemned the alternator when it was fine, the battery was fine and only needed a charge, and it was the starter and only the starter the whole time. But they still sold my wife $700+ of repairs that was NOT needed. They didn’t even recommend a charge on the battery, or test the alternator. Or they did and just thought my wife was an easy target or married to an idiot. Either way, COMPLETELY unacceptable practices on how to troubleshoot any vehicle. When I asked them if they treated my wife’s car as they would their own car, they said “No”.
Great friendly and professional service. Screw in tire fixed and rotated at NC. Noted alignment issue and fixed at reasonable price. Would return for future business. Thank you!

Incredible customer service! Robert went above and beyond to help me find the right tires for my car! Tires for 14in wheel are hard to come by and Robert went out of his way to locate some for me and have them shipped to the store in just a couple of days. I have not even been to the store yet and I am already blown away by the amazing customer service.
Amber was the very best customer service representative Ive had the pleasure of dealing with in a very long time. She understood my situation and did everything possible to get me on the road in a safe vehicle. Take good care of Amber. Shes gained you a loyal customer.
If I can give 0 stars, I would!!! This place is horrible!! I had to get a new thermostat and radiator flush that was supposed to take 3 hours on Saturday. They got the wrong part so they had to keep my car until Monday. Monday comes and my car wasnt fixed until 3 pm!!! I missed the entire work day and I was told I would get a discount. $40??!! I never had a problem with Firestone but I will never come back. Ever!!!
On the phone currently with a lady (Deedee?). She is rude!!!! You can hear her attitude and the “um hum” noise she keeps making is rude. She says she didn’t do anything to the vehicle so “I can’t take responsibility” but they did touch the vehicle. It drove there fine (19 miles away and had been driving it fine before then) but couldn’t even half a mile down the street once it was “done” and they had it a week. She said, “not my issue. You need to take it to the dealership than.” She said they can’t do anything since they didn’t do diagnostic one it. What place has a vehicle to be worked on and doesn’t run diagnostics??? It drove fine before they touched it but now it will not work. Do NOT come here unless you want them to mess your vehicle up. It was a simple check is all they had to do so why is it not working now. It died and I had to push it into a parking lot. I mean simple customer service and listening to a customer is necessary when you work in any store dealing with customers. At least listening to the customer and trying to find a solution is simple customer service. She couldn’t even do that.On the phone now (all this is typed as it happens) with corporate and corporate can’t believe what was said to us (recorded phone calls rock). The location did touch it and didn’t do what was needed and ended up messing up. It was sent to upper management to be worked on. Thank god for a nice corporate rep. Still this location deserves zero stars for the lady I spoke with “smacking her gums” at me.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Store Manager Dee Dee for going above and beyond for me and coming to my rescue. I used to go to another Firestone in Norcross and since I recently moved to Lawrenceville I came here to give it a try. Dee Dee made me feel right at home and was great at communicating everything to me and took time to get to know me as a new customer in her store. I had a situation the day after my service there and she came to my rescue and helped me out and got my car to her shop and they looked at it within few minutes on a busy Saturday since it was an emergency. I really appreciate you Dee Dee and thank you for helping me out and taking care of me. She truly cares about her customers and want them taken care of, I also like how honest and blunt she is and gives it to you 100%. I will definitely be back here for my Car care needs. She deserves an award or raise for her service. You are the best and have a customer that will be back again. I will tell all my friends about this location.

I did a wheel alignment on my 2016 Lexus and I saved money rather then going to the Lexus dealership. Great service & pricing.! The store manger was all very pleasant offering cold water or coffee.

Firestone in Lawrenceville on Hwy 20 is always awesome. Ms. DeeDee always takes care of my needs for my vehicles and knows I hate to wait. She makes me appointments and gets me in and out quickly. When Ms DeeDee isnt there the staff still takes excellent care of my vehicles. I have been going here about 12 years and never had a problem.
My family & I have been customers at the Buford location for years. On 8/17/12 I asked them to change the oil, rotate the tires and do an alignment on my van. They told me all had been done. After a couple of days I looked at the front tires. They had not been rotated. When I called the store I was told they had definitely been rotated. This was a flat lie. A few days later I took my van to the Mall of GA location. They confirmed that the tires had not been rotated. They performed that service. I will never use Firestone again. When my tires need replacing or I need mechanical service, it will not be with Firestone in Buford.

After breaking down on a road trip with my kids in the car, the roadside assistant who put on my spare told me to get a new tire ASAP. I was a nervous wreck driving slowly on 85S to the nearest Firestone. Once I arrived, DeeDee was AMAZING! The damage to my tire was assessed immediately and DeeDee personally drove to get my replacement tire to save me from an extra long wait. It was so refreshing to get such great, caring, honest service in 2019!

Honestly Firestone almost always costs as much as a dealership repair does. If youre going there with mechanical issues. Find somewhere else. Honestly I used to only come here for tires. But you can get better tires cheaper at other places. Only reason Im giving it 2 stars is because the staff seems to be nice

I was really not thrilled by the service at this particular Firestone. I made an appointment and arrived a few minutes late. No one greeted me for a few minutes upon walking in, and when I was greeted I was told because I was a few minutes late, they might or might not be able to help me. She really made a big deal out of my being a little behind. Seemed like they didn’t want my business, so I went next door to Kauffman who got me in immediately. Really bummed because I’ve worked with countless Firestone locations in a previous job who were awesome, and this encounter just really missed the mark.
We recently brought our car to replace a blowout on a tire that came with the vehicle we purchased 5 months prior. Michael, was incredibly patient, helpful, and informative. He let us know that the dealership we had purchased the car from had also supplied us with 4 tires that were around 15 years old and how dangerous that was. But, he did not pressure us to buy the new tires from him when I told him we wanted to talk to the dealership about having them replaced. He also taught me how to read the DOT numbers on tires so that, in the future, people will not be able to pass off old tires on us again. We will definitely be back.

*NO STARS* I was referred by a co worker to this facility and will NEVER come back to this place again. The manager of the facility tried to resolve the issue with a free oil change. My appointment was set for 10:00am. I called ahead to let them know i may be late, arrived at 10:03. Everything was perfect with my arrival, was assisted with getting my car checked in, gentleman was super nice.. we had a firm time of 12:00pm for me to pick up my car completed due to the fact i had to be at work at 2:00pm. I wait for my car to be finished... With a 5 month old. He calls me at 12:17pm..LATE.. to tell me i need 2 new tires, blaze blaze. i find out My car isnt completed after i stand in the lobby for 15 min (WITH NO HELP) after coming back up there to see whats going on with my car, and he says i didnt tell you that your car was done.. No greeting or anything, just plain out rude. I ask how much longer due to the fact we noted i needed my car back by 12!!!!! He said 15 more minutes, fine. long story short.. MY CAR WAS NEVER SERVICED FROM 10AM TO 1PM!! They never started my oil change, never did my alignment or fixed my tires. The gentleman had an attitude with me, started yelling and cussing... then the manager comes out and TRIES to resolve the situation by giving me a free oil change. Her employee continues to mouth off and then gets in his vehicle and squeels his tires and leaves. do not come here if you want your time wasted. This facility is very unprofessional. I was two hours late to work because of this.. mind you i had an APPOINTMENT set for 10am, left after 1pm with only one of my service issues fixed..oil change. Also, this facility uses my grandmothers neighborhood as a test track for vehicles, so if youre near the area. WATCH OUT FOR SPEEDING MECHANICS test driving CUSTOMER VEHICLES at excessive speed!!!!!!!! Would not recommend this place and i also will never go back.

Wrote a bunch on paper but didnt perform the work or checks, claimed tire pressure that i already knew and they reported it falsely. Claimed to checked my CV boots, said they were fine and they actually had a leak. Stated they filled up the washer fluid and they didnt, when confronted they just put water in it and it froze and i could not use it which was dangerous when i needed to
Will not honor lifetime balance or alignment warranties. Always a very long wait for lifetime services. Does not honor appointments. Made appointment more than 24 hours in advance, showed up on time, was told 2 hour wait.

Avoid this store!!! I bought a new set of tires from this store 11/2006 for my Suburban. Dropped the SUV at noon, paid $650 and picked it up after work. When I examined the tires the following day, I noticed they were not new (though they had very little wear). I decided to let it go, I just did not have the time to go back and spend more time on this. Over the years we drove the Suburban only for only 14,000 miles in 6 ½ years, until now when a tire starting loosing air, but there is … no nail! When I examined the tire more carefully, I noticed a vulcanized plug in one of the tires. Now I have to fix their “fix” on a tire that was supposed to be new to begin with. Be aware !!!
Been coming here for the past 10 years. This is my last time. They used to have nice and fast folks working here......NOT anymore. Got here at 7 am for an oil change, its 10am now. Im still here worst service ever

The woman behind the counter was rude, mocking, sarcastic, and generally unhelpful. Not only did the store fail to inform me that they did not have the product I was looking for in stock despite confirming my service appointment, but I was told that I would have to buy a set of entirely different tires at a higher price.
I ask if they could plug a tire on my truck. I waited OVER 2 hours for them to pull my truck into the shop. 2 customer were taken in front of me because mine was a low paying job. They told me my tire was to bad to plug so i ask them to put my spare on and they said they couldnt get it out from under the truck. They gave me a cost of 32.50 if they had pluged and wanted to sell me 800.00 in tires. so after 3 hours i left with my tire still leaking.I give then 0 stars. I have bought complete sets of tires in the past at this same locationbut NEVER again.

Had an oil change, 2 new tires installed and the lifetime alignment check done. Price was good with no extras, car was ready on time and the staff was efficient and courteous.
From the reviews I was hesitant to take my van for service. The reviews are wrong. My experience was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable from the time I walked in. The young lady at the counter was smiling and soft spoken to the manager who gave me a timeframe when I called to determine if they had time to work on my van, it was a Saturday. When I called I was told about an hour for 2 tires. That was pretty close to accurate but I added an oil change and alignment when I arrived, so it did take longer, as I expected it too as I just added on work for them to do. While doing my tires they noticed my back brakes were, basically bare. I didnt take their word I had them show me. I know a few things about cars. Sure enough I was basically riding on air. So I had them fixed. They did not offer any work that was not needed. Which in my book is a major plus for a repair shop. They were courteous, knowledge and personable. I even have a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty on my brakes. Woo HOO. When I called I needed 2 tires on the way I had a light in my van that reminded me I needed an oil change and whenever tires or oil it should be aligned, so I knew I would be there for a bit and when I added the brakes, I added time for that too. Added services added time. I travel about 200,000 ( yes you read and I typed that right) miles a year. I deal with a lot of services centers. I will return to this location and I appreciate the time they took to listen to my complaints about my vehicle, about other service centers. Allow time for a job to be done right. You will appreciate it in the long run. These are good, hard working people who go above and beyond to get you up and running and keep you running. In my book thats amazing and appreciated. Just a side note the manager came from the Mall of Georgia location and has only been there about 2 weeks. Give them a try!

The black tall guy at the front counter over there needs to be fired. He is unprofessional and always looking down on people. When you try to talk to him about something or to get the info very well from him, hes always looking at you with a bad look. People complain about him alot. He stands as bad a name to the company.
Complete rip off. They refused to recheck an alignment I purchased last year (with a full lifetime warranty). They say I brought in another truck even though I have brought the receipt and the licence plate matches. And not to mention the way they talk to costumers, very rude and unprofessional!

My ac quit working. I took it to them and they check it out fixed the clip and only charged me 10bucks. They had friendly staff. They will definitely have my business in the future.

Do not go here. Ive taken both my truck and my dads truck here. Went here today to get an oil change in my fathers truck. I told the lady at the front it needed blend and not full synthetic and she told me no it calls for full. I told her twice but she was too busy with her man friend. I will not be going here for any future service.

First time I have been to firsestone ever. I usually stay away from these types of places considering i take pride in taking care of my Lexus and dont go to pep boys or the like. There was a special for brakes and the time was right so i made an appointment. I walked in and DeeDee changed my life. She said hello and welcomed me to the counter. We talked and instantly connected with her warm, friendly, and supremely professional demeanor. Ive never felt so comfortable at a service shop ever. I have sat at places getting work done for others in my family with their cars and not even a toyota dealership is in the realm of how i was treated over here. There was another tall dark gentleman that was awesome also. We talked about cars and everything. My time flew. And when it turned out that my rotors were shot, i was gonna put the service on hold. DeeDee talked me into a firestone card and Im glad that she did. Words cant describe how great my experience was. I love firestone! I love DeeDee. I dont think i want to go anywhere Deedee isnt. A ++++++

The staff at the 929 Buford Dr (Lawrenceville) are awesome. I came in with a failing alternator (I dont live local) and they stayed over to get my vehicle up and running safely.
Very sorry about the bad review I left earlier about this specific firestone. I made a mistake. The review I left was not for this location. It was for the location across from the walmart near the Autonation dealerhsips: they made a mistake with some services I had done within the last year. However, the firestone here cleared up the mistake and was even willing to fix it. Which to me is very rare and professional. I very much appreciate them for doing that.
This morning at 9:00 I made an appointment to get my oil changed at 1:00. I got there at 12:50. Sat, sat, sat and finally after my car did not enter their garage by 1:45, I asked for keys and left. This is not the first time this has happened. But I will not be going back!!!
I ask to help change a tire and the person in charge did not want to provide the service because I did not purchase the brand new tires with them, I done it before but this time he say they never done it, they dont change tires bough some where else. I tow my car from Duluth to this store because they always treat me and my family well but this time I got bad customer service and help at all
