My 1st visit. Dr. Gorlin is an exceptional Optometrist. I was greeted at the door by the General Manager Tawanda. She made me comfortable immediately. Bree performed My Diagnostics and was warm and informative. I purchased glasses that day.I returned to upgrade my lenses in another pair of glasses of mine. There was a mixup at the lab that prepares the glasses prolonging the process. Tawanda stepped in and handled the situation for me and even made concessions for my time and inconvenience. Theyve earned a new patient from here on out. Im also going to send my Family to them as well as friends who need an eye Dr.
I have been to many eye Drs and this one did tests I have never have had done, they were very friendly and nice. Been there 2 times and they already called me by my name. Plan on going back.
I had insurance and went to My Eye Doctor because it was in network. I brought my own frames. LaTasha who helped me with the glasses told me that because of the way my insurance worked, it would cost more for the glasses using the frames I brought in. She also said I could get a second pair for about the same price as one pair and could use the frames I brought in. All this turned out to be NOT true. She also charged me for add on items that I really didnt need. After reading my insurance policy, looking at the bill and speaking with a registered optician, it was clear that she was taking advantage of me. All I wanted at this point was a refund to go to a store with honest sales people; but was told because of the insurance, I couldnt get a refund. The manager did work with me to refund some of the dishonest charges. Just beware and look at the charges closely and question them. Also, my experience with My Eye Doctor was a huge waste of time. They take forever to make a pair of glasses. Unfortunately, the bifocals they made me were done incorrectly so I had to wait for them to redo the glasses. This process took over a month. I had to go there 3 times.
The most fun Ive ever had at an eye doctor! Super friendly, super helpful. Mia was amazing, helping my daughters pick out new glasses. Positive experience all around. We will continue to use this location.
I just wanted to take the time to say how much I appreciate this amazing staff. All the hard work, friendly smiles and going above and beyond to make sure your customer are happy .
An appointment Monday evening to determine why my eye was irritated. Dr. Gorlin could not determine why so recommended I see a specialist. No problem. Since late, her assistant said that she would call the specialist for availability first thing in the morning and let me know when I could get in to see them. Tuesday early afternoon, I CALL to get a status. Assistant claims no response from the specialist but will follow-up the same day and let me know. Wednesday end of day, I CALL for status and, at this point, ask if another specialist office is available. Assistant says shell check with doctor and let me know. Thursday, I DONT call nor do I get a call. Friday, I CALL at end of day and the doctor has left for the weekend. Do you see a pattern? Not one time during the week was communication initiated by the MyEye Dr staff and I have yet to be in contact with any type of specialist. Customer service.?? To the Responder: Today, a week after the MyEyeDr visit, I did the staffs job for them. I called them and obtained the specialists name and type of evaluation to request. I then called the Specialist office and reached them immediately with no issue. Ill let others determine why the MyEyeDr staff found it so difficult in doing the same. Needless to say, Ill be taking my family elsewhere for eye exams and service going forward.
I ran into a staff member during off hours. Very rude and definitely not a good representation of a business. I would definitely skip this business for any eye work. Try Carlin Vision instead! They are professional and friendly.

I was greeted promptly when I walked in. I was there to purchase some Coach glasses and had a couple of questions. They were so friendly and the whole process was fast, easy and painless. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable. Great place to go.
Overall. This place is wonderful. The whole staff was amazing at doing their job and were very kind. Almedina the store manager was very wonderful and helped me so much to find my perfect glasses.

My experience at MyEyeDr in Suwanee was wonderful. I was kindly greeted by the staff and got great help picking out my glasses. The manager Almedina was wonderful. She was super kind and friendly and has a great sense of humor too. She helped me pick out the perfect glasses and didn’t rush me at all. Dr.Chen was as equally amazing. She was very kind to me and helped me know all there is too about my eyes. All in all the whole staff was very great. They all had amazing personalities. I highly recommend this place.

This is my 2nd prescription with them and the prescriptions is still not working. Even after a complaint, they are unwilling to work with you to fix the issue
If you value your time dont come here. They were an hour behind already for my 10:40 appointment when they open at at 9:00. They then skipped me because I stepped outside and couldnt be bothered to try and contact me before moving on to the next person. I was not given an apology for their mistake and was made to wait longer.

I’ve been coming to this location for a few years now and every time I walk out feeling like I’ve made the best decision with eye care. My daughter broke her older brother glasses and I remembered I had the warranty, not only did they fix the severely broken glasses but they ordered a replacement for us with no extra steps. No long wait times to look up information or to fill out any forms- very quick and efficient. I also mentioned that I’m out of contacts(can’t recall where I put 2 boxes) so I was looking online reviewing costs to replace on 1-800Contacts. MyEyeDr gave me enough to last until I’m back in the office! So they saved me not only time but money as well. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. Thank you to the Lawrenceville location!
I would never recommend this place to anyone. They were really good when it was Total Vision, never had any issue. Now they upsale you the most expensive contacts so that you are forced to pay out of pocket. Previously, my contacts were always covered by my insurance. Now all of a sudden, I have to pay over $100 for only 1 box each eye. I would definitely try to find another eye doctor to go to unless you want to pay tons of money.
I went in for a routine anual checkup, with no preexisting issues. I was told that i have a stigmatism and i was given a prescription. I decided not to purchase glasses because the prices were way too high, even after my insurance coverage ($250+ out of pocket). I called back later and requested the results of the exam so that I could shop for prescription lenses online, however the results clearly say i have 20/20 vision.... so i dont even need glasses...

Everyone was very nice. The tech and doctor were very clear with what they were doing and the front room staff were courteous and patient.
Started with the rude person at the front desk and then continued when they told me I needed to pay more than my insurance covered. Told them I was done and walked out.
The front office staff is totally useless here. Might as well have monkeys checking people in. I waited close to an hour for them to “verify” my insurance information and was then told that my policy had been cancelled in 2011 (that’s 7 years ago!). After reviewing that the office had the correct information (spelling of my name, SSN, etc) they supposedly tried to contact the insurance company (Avesis) again and were told the same thing, that my policy had not been active since 2011. The man then belittled me and questioned whether I actually had a policy with Avesis and that it was probably a health insurance policy. I explained that I was 100% certain that my vision insurance was with Avesis, as my health insurance is through BCBS. (I am a nurse in a doctors office, I know the difference between damn insurance policies) I then explained that I would have to contact the insurance company myself and make an appointment for another day, since I had already been waiting over an hour. When I got into my car I called the insurance company and explain the situation. I gave them my name and DOB and they were able to pull up my ACTIVE policy immediately and verify all of my account information. (This was less than 5 minutes after the dim wit at myeyedr got off the phone with the “supposedly” exact same insurance company) They also said that my last policy with them ended in 2013 (remember the front office guy said 2011...) I went back into the office after I got off the phone and expressed how frustrated I was as I was able to easily verify my policy during a 2 minute phone call to Avesis. The front office worker did not even apologize and had the audacity to exclaim that he didn’t “know what happened between me calling them and you calling them”! I don’t know what happened either, but I know he didn’t get any smarter in that short period of time! He claims that he called Avesis and gave them all of my correct information, however there is no way that is true unless there are 2 different Avesis vision insurance companies. He was extremely unhelpful, dishonest, and lazy. Had he admitted he made a mistake, my feelings about this office would be different. The quality of this office has severely declined since becoming myeyedr. I always had great experiences when it was total vision. They no longer care about their patients, and everyone is just a number. I will not be returning to this office or any myeyedr practice again.
Went in for a yearly eye exam my first time here. Not only was the staff nice and courteous we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Justin he is a phenomenal worker is very courteous and kind to his customers thanks Justin for making our first time a great time!!!
Must say my worse experience since i been paying for my eyeglasses as an adult.. After paying over 300 out of pocket after insurance the lenses were not even .the same size when my left eye is the weaker eye never ever will i spend another penny of my money in the my eye.dr.franchise...To the fact that the young lady almost broke my other glasses.smh

Terrible experience. Not the first time. I’ve waited A MONTH FOR MY GLASSES to be fixed. Called in every week to get an update .... only to be told the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN which was “No they still have not arrived” finally decided to come up their too see why i had to wait a month Just TO BE TOLD I HAVE TO WAIT AN ADDITIONAL 5-6 weeks for them to arrive!
